For the match against Bayern, I expected Bayern to beat Chelsea, but I didn’t place any bets on that game because Chelsea can sometimes deliver very strong performances. The next match, the second round of the Champions League, will be between teams that lost their first games, and while Chelsea lost to a strong Bayern, in Benfica’s case it was something unclear. In the opening minutes they were already leading 2-0, but in the end they somehow managed to lose by conceding three goals.

What I can say about Benfica is that for now I’m not sure they can beat Chelsea away, that’s what I think. Chelsea didn’t start this season in the best way, but the team has great potential. Benfica played two matches with Mourinho, and in the second one yesterday they let the win slip in the last minutes, drawing 1-1 with a fairly weak team, so I don’t know what to say. I think Chelsea won’t lose the home match, Benfica are solid enough in defense, so I think they will try not to lose this match. Again, it’s a difficult match that I definitely won’t bet on.

Bayern of course will win against Chelsea unless something unexpected happens. They are the far better team and they have been doing great so far this season. And looking at Chelsea, they have not started the season good at all and lost many points so far which is why everyone knows that Bayern will in normal cases will win the game.

However, football is always a game where shocking things could happen, and we could always have results that would be a bit different early on. So if Chelsea gets lucky at the start of the game, everything could change and we could end up with result that would shock the world. It's just group stage game so nothing major will happen even if Bayern loses but I do not think it's this game.

There's no way Chelsea can ever win Bayern Munich because Bayern Munich is more informed than them, the last match this two club played last in the champions League group stage Bayern Munich defeated them so I don't think Bayern Munich will even give them any chance at all, Chelsea is not informed this season the way we think, Bayern Munich is very determined to lift the champions League title this season and I don't think any club will be able to stop them because they are very informed and playing very well.
Chelsea may have a chance to win Bayern Munich in their next match if they are inform however I don't see that happening some fans of Chelsea believe that if Chelsea can win PSG in the club world cup final then they can defeat Bayern Munich, the win against PSG was a lucky win.

Chelsea was never a favorite with the bookies for winning the PL, and was sent at 4.5 odds against Bayern.

If any significant percentage had believed in them, you would have seen them at way better odds, but in reality, nobody cared.

I wonder why the odds were so high, I think no one believed in them, not even the bookmakers, but they proved everyone wrong. However, their performances are a bit mediocre and everyone is still struggling to believe in them, but in my opinion they can still have some surprises in store for us.

Jose Mourinho goes with controversy anywhere he goes to. I believe with this new club that he can bring success to Benifca and qualify them for the champions league but I think he has alot of negative press anywhere he goes to as he'll be making the media be more interested in Benifca now and that might distract them from playing football but it'll increase their revenue. Jose Mourinho needs a high profile club to accumulate his talent and not all this small clubs that he has being going to. He's still a top manager and needs to be playing in the big competition with teams that have a bigger chance of winning the competition.

The next Champions League matches will be interesting. Real Madrid will have a long flight to play. I think Real will win.

 Galatasaray will play Liverpool, and they'll need to be very careful after conceding five goals in the first leg in Frankfurt. Liverpool has the potential to score more goals. If they make the same defensive mistakes, Liverpool will never forgive them. They had an eight-goal victory against Beşiktaş in the past. I hope we don't see a similar result. The fact that the match will be played in Istanbul shows Galatasaray will have the support of their home crowd. I hope they can avoid a heavy defeat at home and, if possible, a win.

It's really gon be a long flight to Kazakhstan but I don't think that will have any effect on the results Real Madrid will have. Kairat Almaty are really doing well in their domestic league and even managed to get qualifed to the champions league but I don't think their level is up to challenge in the champions league or even challenge Real Madrid. It is supposed to be an easy win for Madrid and I believe it will be.

Liverpool on the other hand will face a more challenging opponent. I would have predicted an easy win for Liverpool if they were to be the home team. Galatasaray have good players too and being the home team will make it even tougher for Liverpool. It will be an interesting game but somehow I still see Liverpool winning it. Gala lost to Frankfurt with high goal margin so they will do everything possible to not let it happen again not in front of their fans.

No manager can be certain their team will win a match. Football is played on the pitch. We all know there have been some big surprises in recent years. It's obvious that in UCL games shocking results do happen and there are always hard times when you have trouble guessing who will play how. But I am suspecting that we are going to see most of the favourites win this week. Inter is playing Prague, should be easy to win that game, Liverpool is playing Galatasaray, such an easy game for them, Bayern Munich is playing Pafos, should be very easy once again. Clubs that qualified to compete for the trophy shouldn't be underestimated.  However I want to emphasize on the game between Liverpool vs Galatasaray. This game isn't going to be an easy meal but I am still counting on Liverpool to win this game. Liverpool are well in-form,have acquired more UEFA Chiampions league experience than Galatasaray, although all of this attributes are an advantage but still,it doesn't guarantee winning for Liverpool.

Chelsea, the reigning World Cup champions, defeated Paris Saint-Germain in the final to win the trophy. Expectations were high for them in the Champions League, but they failed to meet them in the first leg. Therefore, they are now focusing on the second leg, facing a Benfica that lacks the performance of last year. They've made a new managerial change, and Jose Mourinho will be playing this match before he's fully established himself in the team. I believe they will take advantage of this and easily win the match in England.

It may not be an easy task for sure, but with team effort and with coaching strategies, I would say, they can win on the game. Let us see. Chelsea, is the slight favorite here but they should not be too confident as Benfica is also strong. Just consider Pavlidis from Benfica. And you won't think that Chelsea can win easy on this match.

Are you checking the statistics to no if they have meet on this league in the past or if they have meet anywhere at all?, if is any meeting, you should no that Benfica and Chelsea saw each other on the Club world Cup and Chelsea won Benfica 4:1 but doesn't have any other statistics on the champions League together, so is it tangible enough for Chelsea to win as they won them again?, Chelsea statistics also was good on that league and not enough on this league while Benfica was not good on the Club world Cup but has been moving currently so don't you think they might be equal?, although Chelsea shouldn't miss to convert this to there favour.

You can not choose a favorite team by checking the statistics about these matches. Chelsea is a strong team. And this is their home match. Also, Chelsea is  in better form than Benfica. Chelsea failed to win against Bayern munich in the first match of the Champions League.

We are still talking about the same statistics of Chelsea and Benfica because it was from the matches about them you watch that makes you believe that Chelsea is stronger than Benfica so actually statistics cannot be disputed from knowing the possible stand on a club against another. He'll be taking over as a new manager for Benfica, but as you said, it's not right to expect him to suddenly wield a special magic wand. He'll get to know the players as much as he can and put the best players on the pitch. I believe he did his best in the Turkish league last year. Furthermore, Fenerbahçe's 18-year-old Yusuf Akçiçek's career took off thanks to him. Mourinho is a successful coach, providing young players with the opportunity to introduce them to the world.

I don't know what the bookmakers are considering, but Liverpool odds should be lower than that. Judging by these odds, something is likely to happen on the pitch. Galatasaray might even end the match with a draw, but Liverpool chances are certainly tempting and it would be a shame not to try.

Well maybe that defeat at Allianz Arena have made a lot of people doubt if Chelsea will do well in the champions league but it bayern Munich and the defeat was much expected. They will be playing Benfica at home next week so I think they should win that match and pick all three point. Well I don’t expect an easy game against Benfica also but they should be able to win it.

Benfica are a good side also and they are now being coach by Jose morihno so tactically he his going to make it very difficult for Chelsea but I still believe Chelsea will win that match. I really anticipate this game and can’t wait.

Remember, Chelsea is full of young players who sometimes need some adjustment and adaptation to certain situations, such as in a major competition like the UCL. And well, it's only a matter of time. And when Chelsea's promising young players get used to the UCL, that's when Chelsea will start to show their true form. Because I think they still have the potential to continue growing into an even better team. Because I see so many potential players in the Chelsea team. Now it's just a matter of how the coach manages everything to maximize it.

Anyone expecting Benfica to win against Chelsea is not being serious. If Mourinho wasn't appointed as Benfica manager of recent would they have expected Benfica to win against Chelsea at Stamford bridge? That aside, Chelsea have just lost to Bayern Munich which is a stronger team than them presently. But Chelsea are stronger than Benfica so they are to win Benfica with or without Jose Mourinho.
