As for Galatasaray Vs Liverpool, I certainly would want to sit on the fence for that encounter, it looks to me as though Gala would want to take on Liverpool surprisingly, so it won't be on my list despite how mouth watering it looks as though Liverpool will have a walk over. The truth is that, football is full of unpredictability, I already foresaw this situation, that was why I avoided this particularly encounter between Liverpool and Galatasaray, because I knew Galatasaray's approach would be different, it's against Liverpool, a big game, they would want to show their might too despite their last defeat, Liverpool on one hand would want to treat the game with kid gloves, that is where Gala took them on suprise and the result is what we have now.

Yes you are right, because we can never predict what will happen on the field. For example, in this match Galatasaray VS Liverpool, everyone thought that maybe Liverpool would win. Many bet on Liverpool, thinking that Liverpool is a much stronger team than Galatasaray in all aspects. Galatasaray's offensive side is very strong, Galatasaray was able to attack in the middle of the pitch at any moment. Liverpool may not have realized this, if Liverpool had not avoided this issue, then maybe the match would have been in Liverpool's favor.

This was the only match that surprised me. I was even sure Liverpool wouldn't face any significant obstacles. Even though I know Galatasaray's squad depth is much better now, I still think Liverpool are far superior. But, well, in the Champions League, this kind of thing is common. Atletico Madrid played really well in that match because they were able to take advantage of their opportunities and score many goals against Eintracht Frankfurt. The 5-1 score for Atletico Madrid's victory is certainly an extraordinary achievement. Eintracht Frankfurt was certainly disappointing in the match against Atletico Madrid because their performance was not as good as when they played against Galatasaray in the first week of this season. Now, Atletico Madrid is starting to rise again and will undoubtedly compete fiercely this season to win the UCL trophy. However, what’s unique is that in the first week, Eintracht Frankfurt managed to defeat Galatasaray with a score of 5-1. Yet, today’s score in the Eintracht Frankfurt vs. Atletico Madrid match was 5-1, which is certainly very unique because Atletico Madrid secured the victory this time.

In my wildest dreams, I didn't even expect this kind of score line not to even think of Liverpool losing with it. Your statement is absolutely correct, Liverpool are the only once who were interested in playing football in that game, and Liverpool dominated that game since the first half of game, I don’t know what the referee was doing, he had an awful day in the office, the Galatasaray players had a very bad tactics of wanting to defend and stop the game to flow with set pieces, and their striker Victor Osimhen have always been falling to the ground and sleep there, when he is fine that nothing happened to him, I think this was their game plan, all of them had this tactics, they didn’t allow the game to flow, and Liverpool got frustrated in that game, I don’t know why benching Salah, and starting Szobozlai as a right wing back instead of Frimpong to be playing there, he got the formation wrong, that was a very bad game plan for Arne Slot. Your disappointment must be big as Liverpool not only did not win the match but also lost it. They perfomed bad and ended the match with a defeat, 0 point which are worse than a draw and 1 point. Liverpool problems actually began and shown in some previous matches when they let opponents scoring goals, leading them but eventually managing to equalize and win these matches with late goals.

It's unrealistic to make comebacks in all such matches and last week in Premier League, yesterday in Champions League, they simply failed to equalize the match and flip it. Slot has many things to work with his players especially star players who joined the club in this summer for having a more united and better squad in coming matches. The season is long and Slot needs to stop this bad match streak as soon as possible and prevent it expanding to a crisis that can harm their chance of winning titles.

Galatasaray proved their strength in the home match once again. They performed well, no doubt about it. Although the only goal of the match was from a penalty , both teams tried hard to score throughout the match.

That's not entirely true, besides winning against AC Milan when playing in Türkiye, Liverpool also experienced another win when playing in Türkiye, that was when they met Trabzonspor. It was UEL match, August 27, 2010. Liverpool won with Trabzonspor 1 - 2 Liverpool.

Watching the Galatasaray - Liverpool match, I was honestly surprised by the final result. Liverpool deserved to win this match with everything they had. However, it seemed like luck wasn't on their side. Galatasaray, on the other side only managed a penalty, which wasn't great at all. Well I would say maybe they needed the lose, because if you look at their performances in the premier league too they always love to score in the last 10 minutes of the game to win their matches, I knew a day will soon come like this that scoring in the stoppage time won’t work for them.

In the yesterday I only watched the second half and I will tell you this they didn’t create any chance, except for the one that Ekitike try to score with a back kick. Even when salah came in they barely create anything. Alexander isak is finding it very difficult to adapt to the Liverpool style of play, sometimes he looks lost and don’t even know where to be in the pitch.

Perhaps after the defeat to Crystal Palace they lost a little faith in their invincibility, but I think if Liverpool wants to win the Champions League, they need to beat opponents like Galatasaray. On the one hand, Galatasaray has strengthened its squad well, but on the other, they lost the first leg to Frankfurt 5-1, and after that defeat, I didn't even think they could beat Liverpool.

Although Galatasaray win over Liverpool shocked many especially my slips, I don’t really see it as a random upset. Sometimes when a big team underestimates an opponent or goes in with the wrong mentality, results like this happen. Liverpool has been struggling with consistency lately, and it showed yesterday. The bigger issue for me isn’t even the loss, but the fact that they couldn’t score, that speaks more about their lack of sharpness in attack than Galatasaray suddenly becoming a solid defensive side. If Liverpool keeps showing this kind of weakness in knockout football, then lifting the Champions League will remain far out of reach for them.
