That's football for you, the same Chelsea was able to beat Barcelona but ended up losing to Leeds and couldn't win Bournemouth, that's two failed matches in a row. arsenals loss against Villa might not really be a mistake, we would find out in their next game but one thing a lot of football fans tend to forget is that players get exhausted when they keep up good performances, the players are probably tired, they are humans afterall

Football matches always has unpredictable result, Chelsea success beating Barcelona in Champion League match but get loss from Leeds United and being draw last night from Bournemouth. Have difference atmosphere between domestic league and champion league match with all team want to get victory and earn much compensation from UEFA, Chelsea will forget two bad result matches in a row at premier league focus for champion league match against Atalanta.
Although have raised top 7th position but Chelsea not secure yet if want qualify to 16 of round without playing the playoff round, victory from Atalanta upcoming match really important to make easily for two matches left to get one spot at 16 of round without have to play the playoff round if drop out side the top 9th position standings.

I'm quite confident Chelsea can qualify for the playoffs. They have a strong team, but their performance in the Premier League has been inconsistent. I think it will be different in the Champions League, of course, with each team having much higher motivation due to their own interests in advancing to the next round.
However inconsistent teams are vulnerable to elimination in the knockout stages, as there are only two home and away games, meaning a team can't afford to make any mistakes. I doubt Chelsea's chances this season.

For the fact that Chelsea won Barcelona in the last champions League match those not mean they can go far in the champions League, Chelsea is very inconsistent and they only become serious in some match and that is why they are not doing well in the premier league, for me it's impossible for Chelsea to lift the champions League title this season because of their consistency however if they put more pressure on the same way they did when they played with Barcelona then they may go far in the champions League, Chelsea is very good this season but lack of consistency is a big problem they are facing and they need to become consistent for them to win any trophy this season.

I won't say that Chelsea can't go far in the Champions League because sometimes those clubs that performed well in the group stage of the Champions League don't always go far in the Champions League. Chelsea is currently struggling with inconsistency, but for the fact that Chelsea dominated and won Barcelona, don't say that Chelsea can't go far in the Champions League because Chelsea can improve their performance in the knockout phase of the Champions League and become a team that teams wouldn't want to play against

There are 2 days left for the CL to be underway with Round 6 matches. There are 2 big matches in this round. Inter v Liverpool and Real Madrid v Manchester City.

Hard to be confident about a team as for the other match. But I think Real Madrid might manage to win by a small gap.

Madrid can't even beat Celta Vigo who is a middle table team. How can they beat City? Their defense is so damn poor, no chemistry, and no quality defenders on their side. Who the hell is gonna mark Haaland? Foden is also gaining his form too. They seem get battered by City in the upcoming game.

Thing may be worsen with how very slow their gameplay is. I'm sorry but City looks very superior compared to them. They have no proper defense. It's very difficult to think what gameplay that can suit them well against City when they have very limited defenders available.

It's caused by City has so many players need to be marked.

Even though their performance in the Premier league has been very unstable i think that they would still keep a good record in the champions league...atalanta doesn't have what it takes to play against Chelsea in the UCL so my pick is going to be Chelsea to win in full time..I'm sure of this because Atalanta's current form isn't really good enough to cause any problems for Chelsea but anything can still happen.

These kinds of things you cannot foresee (injuries), but they happen, and you simply can’t perform the same. Liverpool cannot win this match with the way they are playing now. What I am thinking is Inter Milan will beat Liverpool or at least get a draw at home because they are in a bad condition right now and both the players and the coach are not happy and Salah has also assumed the position of the bench lately making it much more difficult for them to deliver smoothly. Based on my own little analysis on the current condition of both clubs in terms of performance and not considering their past records playing together, it will be safe for me to predict a 2 goals win by the Inter Milan over Liverpool. Looking at how Arsenal managed to beat Bayern Munich but still lost to Aston Villa, then we have to ask which one was the real Arsenal. Maybe the loss against Aston Villa was a mistake and it happened because lets face it every team has bad days, or maybe we have seen Arsenal got lucky with Bayern Munich game and normally they are not good enough to win that one.

So we have no idea what's going on. I think it has mostly about the injuries they have, and if they do keep these injuries up with their high tempo then we may end up with nothing good for them at all, wouldn't benefiting them in the slightest. This is why I think it's clear that we need to see how they could move on from this loss and recover.

Arsenal is playing Club Brugge in Champions League and to be honest I will not say Arsenal is going to win the match because Club Brugge is a very stubborn team and Arsenal is having too much injuries this season, injury is what will let Arsenal end up without no any trophy, Arsenal is capable of beating club Brugge but the defense is the problem, After Aston Villa defeat Arsenal, I have started doubting Arsenal for the rest of the season.

I know that some players are going to be back next week but I still don’t think Arteta will start them and using Timber as a center back is very bad, Timber is not good in the position, playing Calafiori will be a good option for the coach, Club Brugge is playing at home and Arsenal should be careful for not losing another game.

By looking at this game and the team involve, I will be lying if I say that Chelsea are the clear favorite here because they are just too inconsistent to be confident in what they can do, but if it was against a stronger opposition, I would have been confident on Chelsea winning or drawing, but teams like Atlanta that are not that good or weak, Chelsea always show inconsistency when up against them, so I wouldn't be too confident in Chelsea winning this game.

Additionally, Enzo maresca is used to rotating his team up and down, without putting into consideration the importance of the game, so if he is stupid enough to do that in this game against Atalanta, it might be very costly because Atalanta is good enough to put Chelsea to the sword in Italy, so everyone at Chelsea really needs to take this game with a lot of seriousness if they want to claim all three point in Italy.

Inter Milan have 12 points of 5 matches played after winning 4 matches and loss 1 match, Inter at the 4th place with 3 points left from Arsenal and this victory will make easy for qualifying to 16 of round.

I think it's just a bad day for Arsenal and I don't think people are not expecting Arsenal to lose at a point in the league. I strongly believe in Arsenal this season and I think they will bounce back, starting with Club Brugge on Wednesday, although they need their best players back in the team, because I noticed the defense was very disorganized without any of their main center back. The physio needs to improve the teams injury, so it does nit derail their season.

I considered Real Madrid as the favorite in the Madrid vs City match yesterday as well. But City performed very badly against Celta Vigo. Weaknesses were observed in both defense and attack. Their performance was not good. More importantly, 5 defenders in Madrid's squad are injured. It is unlikely that Madrid's defenders will recover before the match against Manchester City.

Madrid attacked a lot against Celta Vigo. But they could not score any goals. This definitely reveals the weakness of the attack. Manchester City's defense is even stronger than Celta Vigo. So unless their performance improves, it will not be possible for Real Madrid to defeat City. Also, with such a weak defense, it is a big challenge for Madrid to resist City's attacks.

I have been wondering also why Chelsea also become the prey when they are playing with small teams that is expected for them to win them without pity but the reverse has always been the case in most situations. If gamblers can be wise not to add Chelsea to their games when playing with small teams because of the unbelievable events that can happen, this will safe us a lot of money.

True, this has always being the case for the Blues and one observation I've seen is the fact that the coach Enzo Maresca has being doing lots of experiments with rotating players and changing their positions against small teams which has not always turned out well for him.

The most recent one was against Leeds, and we all know what the outcome was like seeing them lose 3-1 and a disappointing one at that after a deserved win against Barcelona which was quite an unexpected win for them. The most moment where you expect them to gather points and climb up the table, they just keep losing points instead and that's being going on for a while.

But I believe they still have what it takes to win trophies this season, we'll have to watch and see what the season's outcome would be like. It would be no surprise if they come out victorious with a trophy this season because it's Chelsea of course.

Atalanta seem better in the Champions League compared to the Serie A honestly. 10 points in 5 games is quite nice for them in such a tough season. I think they will make difficulties for Chelsea seriously too.

But the problem for them is that they don't score many goals here unlike Chelsea. Maresca can actually turn this into his advantage... 2.16 given for Chelsea win by the way. Quite high odds for such a risk but not impossible...

When Chelsea plays against Atlanta later, we will see how each of them performs because the two clubs have never met in the European caste, with Chelsea's current performance, of course I will favor them even though last week they had to share points with Bournemouth in the league, but for the next match they have to play optimally and not underestimate their opponents, because Chelsea often loses to clubs at the bottom of the standings, of course this is what they have to be wary of later, so that they can win.
