After what they played with Celta De Vigo yesterday in their own home it is somehow obvious that they can not be able to stand Manchester city even though Manchester city form is not that encouraging but one I know for certain is that Real Madrid losing to Celta De Vigo yesterday doesn't mean they will also lose to Manchester city it doesn't work that way, they can lose to a weaker team like Celta De Vigo and go to the champions league and win Manchester city because the Manchester city we are talking about is not the one of 2 seasons ago.

Manchester City can’t be said to be in a very poor state now because they’ve been playing quite well now and are almost close to attaining the top position on the premier league table. That aside, this is the champions league where Real Madrid always dominates no matter the condition and nature of their playing in the La Liga. Even if they’d lost more games in the La Liga than the most recent one, I will still give them some hope to be able to prevail against Manchester City in the Champions League. This is the league of champions and they always want to be their best when playing here, so this will be a very important and tough match that a winner can be decided easily until it is played.

2 trophies are in front of Arsenal this season, but Arteta must consider the stability of his team, if it should be 1 trophy that can be fought for then take that option. Arsenal have so far performed outstandingly but forcing to win 2 trophies at once is not something that is easy to do. So I hope Arsenal can really consider their chances this season.

I don't think that deciding to focus on Premier League or Champions league would be a smart thing because I don't think that it would increase their chances of winning either of those trophies significantly.

In EPL Man City is only 4 points behind and improving their form, so I would be already worried if I were Arsenal fan, and Arsenal is historically not very successful in CL. Their best bet is to continue what they are doing up until now and hope for the best. 

I have said this too, Arsenal should make EPL their focus this time since they're leading the premier League table, and as you've said they're not successful when it comes Champions League competition, it will be way better for them if they stay focused on what is in their hands, because seeing the way Manchester City is catching up with them, it's concerning, and if they happens to drop more points City we know don't give any chance when they top the premier table.

They've been failing in the Premier League for years, and when they've been close to the title, they've also lost it at the end of the season. This season has been a good one for them, and they should capitalize on that. Like you, I also think they should focus more on the Premier League. I understand their desire for two trophies, but the Champions League is much tougher.

They're leading the Premier League, so they need to capitalize on that. It would be a shame if they failed again because they were focused on two competitions, because there's no guarantee they'll succeed in the Champions League.

You are right, if they fail in both competitions because of focusing on two, it will be the biggest folly and shame. So if they have to focus on one place, in that case I think they should focus more on the Premier League instead of focusing on the Champions League, thinking about the team's position now and moving towards success gradually. Otherwise, the previous experience will come back again and again, which will never be good for the team.

Seriously, I can’t see Real Madrid getting past Manchester City in the Champions League. Xabi Alonso is under so much pressure right now, he basically has to win this game to keep his job. I feel like he is going to focus too much on attacking and scoring, which will leave Madrid’s defense exposed. Manchester City is the perfect team to take advantage of that because they are so quick, precise, and clinical in front of goal. Losing Militao is also a big problem. He is a key defender, and without him, Madrid look much weaker at the back. With all this combined, I personally can't see them surviving against Manchester City.

Same here, I really don't see that fighting zeal in this Real Madrid team like that of Ancelotti back then, yes I accept that the team has some injury problems that is ravaging the defensive line but it still doesn't excuse Real Madrid's performance of late. They started off good but right now, it seems like every other team is getting better of Real Madrid wether big or small team is getting something off them and thi doesn't show the character of Real Madrid. If Real Madrid does what they did on Sunday against Manchester City, they will be cooked in front of their fans by City.

Real Madrid's problem started after they won Barcelona in the El clasico because Xabi Alonso began to make some changes that has affected the team and started having problems with some of the players. No matter how successful a coach is, he must maintain a good relationship with his players because they are the ones playing the matches and not the coach. Since Real Madrid won Barcelona, it's been 6 La Liga games but Real Madrid only won two games which is a very poor result. Alonso must learn from his predecessor Carlo Ancelotti because he had a good understanding with the players which is why he won many titles for the team before his departure. Real Madrid fumbled against Celta Vigo and i feel that loss will demoralize them against a confident Manchester City on Wednesday. Manchester City lost their last UCL match against Bayern Leverkusen so it will not be easy for them to accept another defeat against Real Madrid.

They have been complaining about Mo Salah for some time now but I don't really think he is the cause of their misfortune lately because Liverpool really got a lots of players and seeing that even with those players they are not doing anything reasonable is what got me thinking. Imagine a player like Alexander Isak who they signed with a huge amount of money hasn't scored more 3 goals for Liverpool is really crazy and unbelievable and I think the price tag was too much. I will be glad to watch Liverpool play without Mo Salah to see what will happen.

With how real madrid perform against Celta Vigo I don't think madrid to defeat Manchester City this Wednesday, because Guadiola in good form and they will do anything possible to use this advantage to defeat madrid and achieve the three point. Many Madrid defender are injured and they won't be available against Manchester City and that will be a easy win for Manchester City if they can play well because even Liverpool are not in good form but they get the opportunity to defeat Real Madrid so even this time Manchester City have high hope of wining real madrid this time round. Let see who will get the chance to win the match. Xabi Alonso will do is best to get a point against Manchester City so that he shouldn't be sack after the match.

I believe football is kind of way more different from what we assume to be, as many times what we might predict, won't be the outcome and that is how football is. If look at the results of the last few matches, it is clear that Manchester City is better, because Real Madrid's performance has drastically declined. Even in the continuation of the Spanish league against Celta Vigo and playing at Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid lost 2-0. And immediately in the Champions League facing another strong team, Manchester City, it is certainly not an easy task for Xabi Alonso. But if Real Madrid loses, Xabi Alonso's job as Real Madrid's coach will definitely be very threatened with dismissal.
It is clear that Manchester City is highly favored to win this match even though playing at Real Madrid's home. But surely Real Madrid will also give their all to win the match, not just to play for a draw but for a victory.

Yeah there were several similar cases in the other teams where the owners of the clubs just throw their best players under the bus once they have problems with the coach or once their performance drop a little bit. The consequences in most of the cases are bad for the team since the coach will be soon or later fired and the concerned player will move to another club or league.
Liverpool forgot how much Salah helped them during several years and how Slot ruined their funds with his abusive spending without a clear result.
We will see the result of the match against Inter Milan in Italy tomorrow since Inter seems to be the favorite team.

It will be fun to see how Real will respond after a crippling home defeat to Celta, and to see whether City can continue their good run of form. Liverpool are in a similar position to Real—they’re on a downturn and desperately need a win. Unfortunately for them, they’re coming to Inter at the worst possible time, as Inter are on a strong rise, playing better and better every week. I’d say Real and City will play out a draw, and Inter will win by at least 2 goals.

What is happening in Liverpool now is getting out of hands, before it was lack of consistency now its dropping Mohammed salah from the the squad going for a must win game for Liverpool. Its the right time Liverpool's management needs to look into the problem of the team because if proper care is not taken this will be the end of Liverpool. In the last concluded transfer window, Arne slot was among the managers with the highest investment with hope of total dominance in the English premier league and European football but all turned down to zero.

Do you guys think there is a chance Xabi could be fired after this game? I do not think he will be fired if they lose with just one goal or maybe even two goals, but if they lose humiliatingly, like lets say City wins 4-0 or something like that, then there is a possibility that Xabi may get fired after this one. Obviously they have like six or so players missing, at least 3 of them would be great on the team itself, and the rest are bench players, so it's clear that they are having trouble.

However, that will not be an enough excuse for them and they will be considering to fire him. The clear result of these last month is too much for them to just accept and move on and wait until the injured players come back.

Real Madrid's management says there's no disaster yet, they trust Alonso and are ready to continue working with him. However, after this match, there were many rumors about Zidane becoming Real's new coach (though Zidane is still preparing for his coaching duties with the French national team). Overall, it's not just the match against Celta that's the issue, Real have drawn several games against relatively weak teams, and that's bad. The match against City will also be difficult for them, largely due to defensive problems, they have a lot of injured players again.

Yeah, the Manchester City match will be the last test of Xabi Alonso because I know they will be keeping an eye on his performance level. If he doesn't regain his superiority and still fails to win the match then probably Real Madrid will think about his replacement, but right now I don't think that they will try to replace him. He only spent the 1/4 of of the season like he only managed a few matches. Real Madrid staff know that he is a great coach maybe giving him more time will give them a better results....

Don’t worry, Atlético Madrid isn’t that tuff if you can penetrate their defense. They haven’t been so good either in LaLiga, they lost their last two games which was against Barca and Bilbao(those aren’t easy to beat team either). Although they can be unpredictable at times with stunning performance but their games against top teams even in UCL  has always turn out to be disaster for them.

Arne Slot has confirmed the Liverpool lineup that will face Inter Milan, and M Salah is not included. Of course, this is due to M Salah previous comments, where he openly criticized Arne Slot decision, resulting in him being dropped and not playing against Inter Milan. In my opinion, dropping M Salah will make Liverpool play with low confidence, their collective strength will waver, and it seems they will find it very difficult to achieve a victory.

On the other hand, Inter Milan has been more consistent so far, they are the favorites going into the match. The problems currently plaguing Liverpool might give Inter Milan an advantage to secure a win more easily. This is totally unfair and cruel from the manager simply because Mohammed Salah spilled out his mind to the press. This is punishment for him? Common you don't expect a caliber of player like Mohammed Salah to keep shut after been bench in previous games and Liverpool didn't hit a win.

Sincerely, Mohammed Salah is one of the most important player at Anfield, he lifted the EPL and UCL titles with Liverpool and also played major role in the club. Liverpool have no option than to do better and ensure they're reaping every pathway to Greatness this season.

Yesterday, against Celta Vigo, Eder Militao still sustained another injury, contributing to the current injury list. If you recall, Militao just came back from an injury not quite long. Carvajal did same .

It will be fine, their main rival's coach (Hansi Flick) is also having it tough with his defense .

Against Man City, I'm not too sure how Real Madrid will handle their defense, although Rudiger is around. Man City is not that competitive either; they concede so much these days, but it has always been a tough match against these two every season. I hope to see the same again. But I do think Man City has a slight upper hand.

This happens every other time. It happened to Ronaldo at Manchester United. It happened to Aubameyang at Arsenal. I think teams mostly do this to try and prevent problems in the dressing room, other things can easily get out of control

Those players also probably have some clauses in their contracts that do not let them say something too negative about the club or management, so by the time they do that, they already know what is going to happen to them. I believe Salah expects to leave the club soon.
