Liverpool right now is not longer a contender for this season, is sadly but everyone who saw their games knews this, they are doing really bad in defense, and in offensive they score but they dont play really good, plus with the issues with Mo Salah they are gonna be much more in troubles. Another season in the bin sadly for them in Champions League.

Liverpool's focus is divided this season... on the other hand they are improving their ranking in the Premier League, but on the other hand they also need to keep up with the competition in the Champions League, and this makes it more difficult for them to manage their game.
But from what I see, it seems that currently Liverpool is more focused on the Premier League now to at least finish in 4th place to secure a position in the Champions League next season, so they don't want to waste too much effort to play better in the Champions League, maybe they are just playing aiming to survive in the Champions League rather than compete for the title for now.

I don't see Liverpool's divided attention as the reasons behind there inconsistent performance this season, so I don't think we should channel our blames on divided attention but state the obvious. In a team sometimes there are technical problems that cause a decline in performance but the extent to which the coach can solve these problems is a turning point for everyone and I also see that currently Liverpool's performance has improved so there is a big possibility that they will be able to do better in the remaining matches this season and being divided in focus in several competitions cannot be an excuse for a team as big as Liverpool, of course they can adjust to this because it has been like that for a long time.

There was still enough time for Liverpool to actually get themselves back on track this season and if they’re already getting themselves back now, I applaud their tenacity towards making that happen at an early time this season. We are just going halfway in the season, so we will really like to see more from them as a defending champion. Because their position in the premiere league and also in the champions league doesn’t speak well of a team that just won the premier league last and finishing in such position by end of the season will make them not to get to play in any European competition.

Hopefully they maintain a consistency now because having more teams contesting vigorously for the title will make them be in a better position and make the competition more interesting. Player egos also play a role, especially with star players up front, such as the rumors surrounding Mbappé and Vinicius at the start of the season. Their remaining matches aren't particularly difficult; they'll play Marseille in France and Qarabag from Azerbaijan in England. Liverpool can easily beat both teams. Therefore, I'm adding six points to their current total. They are currently ninth with 12 points. They will likely finish the Champions League with 18 points. 18 points would allow them to finish in the top eight. Last year, Aston Villa, who finished eighth, had 16 points in the Champions League. So, if Liverpool reaches 18 points, they will most likely finish in the top eight. They didn't start the season well, but they've recovered very well since.

It always happens to star players; defenders focus on them and try to prevent them from doing what they want in attack. We've seen this many times before with stars like Messi and Ronaldo. Firstly should there be anything like divided and even if there is, should there be a yardstick for any team poor performance, the team is confused, the lack direction and I will blame the coach for that, it is his primary function as a coach to keep an eye on his players to dueevton them on what to do, we should also know that no matter how hard a team pushes, some seasons gets bad for them, I think that's could be the problem these guys are facing right now, we know how great and excellent they were last season, did you say they have pick up form, maybe, but we still have time to evaluate that to give them the accurate rating on that.

Liverpool surprised everyone last season by winning the Premier League title in Arne Slot's first year as head coach. Spanish teams can not win the Champions League this season, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the only teams that are doing better when it comes to big competition and their performance has been somehow poor this season, Real Madrid was doing better from the beginning of the season and now they look like a team that doesn’t know what they are doing, Barcelona is the only team that is having a good performance in Spanish league currently because I don’t count Atletico Madrid as a big team in the Spanish league because I don’t know when last they won a trophy.

Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and PSG are still the favourite to win the Champions League, many people don’t count PSG among the clubs that will win the title but I still believe in them, PSG performance season look poor from the beginning of last season and they later won the trophy, many teams performance will change in January and the competition will look better and more interested to watch.

The only thing that will save Liverpool for this poor performance is to start searching for young potential players that will replace some of their old players next season, because I know it will be hard for Liverpool to come back to be among the top clubs in the champion league, because there is no improvement yet.  If any club is playing well you will know not until you are a coach before you will know the club that is doing well and the ones that are not doing well in a particular tournament,  for this champion league Arsenal, buyern Munich, PSG, and Manchester city are doing perfectly well in this season  because they are well organized to challenge other clubs.

Just  like Real Madrid and Liverpool are experiencing the same thing in this season, because there is a big worry if they will lift any trophy this season or not, because their performance is not stable despite their new players they signed last season.

There is no doubt that the Champions League is a very exciting league and there are many teams that are favored to become champions because the teams in the Champions League are strong teams, so it is only natural that many teams are favored to become champions.
