Inter's poor defeat against Bodo/Glimt eliminated them from the Champions League. i totally forgot to follow the match i only remembered when I hopped on the forum. just checked the stats and... what on earth are these really? Inter had 5 times the shots, 2.5 times the passes, and 16 corners. if a team can only squeeze out one goal from all that, they deserve to be knocked out anyway.

Inter Milan controlled the match, created many opportunities, made many shots but it's not a good day for them. Throughout this season so far, Inter Milan have very strong attacks and already scored many goals but in two playoff matches with Bodo/Glimt, their players lacked of enough accuracy and wasted many opportunities. They did not score an early goal in this match and later Akanji made a terrible defense mistake that almost eliminated Inter Milan.

Bodo/Glimt with this match shows that they have good quality, strong mentality and can perform well when playing home away, and their strength can be shown well not only at their home stadium.

I'm feeling lucky so I might bet money on Benfica eliminating Real Madrid. Rumors say that Mbappe will miss the game due to an injury and Real is showing poor performance at the La Liga losing 1-2 to the rather mediocre team of Osasuna. Alvaro Arbeloa doesn't have what it takes to become a successful coach of such a big football club. The rest of the games seem very easy to be predicted. I was even surprised truly to see the end of the game with extra three goals from the Atletico Madrid side making it a total of 4 goals to 1 and an aggregate of 7 solid goals. Not so happy to see Brugge end this way after all the efforts in the first leg and the efforts in the first half of the second leg. They could win Monaco due to injuries that affect the team but I'd love to see Monaco fight like a wounded lion, using the available players to get their chances into the next round. Yes, It just turned out to be that this is how they've been recently, but regardless they've been keeping a fair form and performance that's not to bad when it comes to some important matches.


As for Benfica Vs Real Madrid's game, the Real Madrid of today isn't the Madrid we used to know as regards to form and performance but I think when it comes to Champions League competition, experience has kept them till date, and I'm not expecting much magic but both teams have better chances to scale through, but the thing that will differentiate them is who's going to utilize his best opportunities.

From the quality of the team alone, Atletico Madrid is superior to Brugge club, what makes you underestimate Atletico Madrid? I can't imagine how Monaco can beat PSG away from home if they lost at home. I don't think we should expect a miracle in this particular match. It's a shame Inter didn't make it to the playoffs, but Bolo Glim deservedly won both matches, so it's all fair. Now we'll see how far they can get in the playoffs, they've already proven they can beat any opponent.

If you really watched the game, you'd see that it's nothing bout fatigue, Inter Milan punished Bodø Glimt last night but they defended brillatnly and also thanks to the shot stopper and goalkeeper.

The most difficult match today will be that of Real Madrid and Benfica. The player who deserves the most praise in this match is Sorloth.
