I don't understand why so many people keep overthinking about the upcoming Champions League games. Galatasaray managed to eliminated Juventus, but Juventus isn't what it used to be as a team and the red card for a Juventus footballer in the first leg had a very significant role Galatasaray winning 5-2. Tottenham is a joke this season. Atletico won't be facing any problems against the team from London. Newcastle and Atalanta have very good teams, but they aren't at the same level as Barcelona and Bayern.

I can't talk about the other games, but I am guessing that the main reason for Liverpool versus Galatasaray game is that these teams faced each other before. Galatasaray took an early lead through Lemina.
