Out of top eight teams of this league, we will have one of them doing great. Sporting could win and that's who I will bet on but Bodo is great too as they have proven. Sure City vs Real Madrid will be watched more because they are two big teams but it is not a shock either of them be in the quarter finals, real success story is with the other ones.

Galatasaray are going to have a matchup against Liverpool in last 16. This has really made my day as a Fenerbahçe fan. If they got Tottenham their chance was going to be higher to qualify for quarter finals.

You know Liverpool have a much more capable squad than Tottenham. Their problem is with Slot this year. They are still not very consistent in general. But they look better in the Champions League. They should be able to eliminate Galatasaray.

They would currently be considered a dark horse club especially for Bodo as they have been quite surprising since the league phase especially when they beat some big clubs even Champions League regulars.
They drew against Dortmund and won against Manchester City, Atletico Maderida and Inter in the play off phase and even against Inter they won by an astonishing aggregate against last season's finalists.

Indirectly they are now increasing in terms of probability to trouble the big clubs even more. The advantage of only focusing on the Champions League was made the most of by Bodo but the knock out phase is different this time around.
Sporting are a lesser club than Bodo have faced before but they can always be troublesome and their Champions League run has been good so it's going to be an even match I think for both clubs and it's going to be hard to take this result as a certainty before actually seeing how both clubs fare in the first leg.

Arsenal are so lucky with the draw and it is nothing to sound as a desperate fan, if you are. Arsenal will play Leverkusen then Bodo/Glimt or Sporting in the quarter final, the draw favored them in the sense they will surely advance into the semi final, and the hardest game before the final, will either be Barcelona or Atletico Madrid. It is looking like Arsenal ability of advancing into the final is certain, if they can get past  Barcelona or Atletico Madrid.

Arsenal played 8 games just like every other team in the UCL, if they have not won all they wont be in this spot they are right now. If Chelsea or Liverpool won all games they should be the one with the luck right? In UCL no draw is easy as yo think. You will be surprised that your favorite team in the UCL will not be able to win Bayern Leverkusesn, Bodo Glmt or Atalanta. It is literally funny when i hear you all speak about luck. Why didnt your favorite team win all games in the league phase to be this lucky?

No one expected that both teams could go this far in the Champions League, the most interesting I think is Bodo because they have only appeared in the Champions League twice, and they immediately made it to the round of 16. If Bodo can win this match, then they will make history in their club's journey that they were able to make it to the quarter-finals, an extraordinary achievement for a small club that has only played in the Champions League twice. I hope that they can surprise again because honestly I feel that what they have achieved is pure hard work and smart tactics.

I can confidently say that FK Bodø/Glimt are very likely to go past Sporting. In their league they have been off-season, and their league is about to start, but they have been having lots of time to rest and train. That is why they had those massive wins against European giants. It is not a fluke.

The Real Madrid vs. Manchester City fixture, on the other hand, is just getting more boring. It has been milked so much. Not funny anymore.

Am not underestimating Galatasaray right now, I know their defense is kind of poor, but I do expect any kind of performance from a team like this. I don’t think the match is going to be an easy one for Liverpool because as we can see Liverpool are not in form also.

Liverpool performance has not been good this season, I know their performance is kind of better in the champions league, but Liverpool is a team that we are not just suppose to have confidence in them, and with the way Galatasaray is playing right now, they might just end up surprising us. I never even believed Galatasaray will get to the current level in the champions league, but we can see the good performance which they displayed. Liverpool will just have to be careful, they shouldn’t underestimate Galatasaray if they really want to win them in the match.

That will be a tough game for both team because both are in good shap this season in the Champions League, and Chelsea are not really doing well in the league competition and that can show that psg are more better then Chelsea currently but this is Champions League any club can get the chance to eliminate other clubs so I won't surprise if Chelsea defeat Paris because they have do that before in the CWC when Palmer destroyed them and this time round they can still get the chance to do so. But let watch how the competition will be. I can says that Barcelona have the easier opponent and still qualify for the semi final, is only Arsenal can probably stop Barcelona from not playing the final of the Champions League this season.

A good time to remember old wounds and pay them back equally. Galatasaray although had the fair share when they first met themselves earlier this season during the early stages of the Champions League competition. Liverpool might not be good in the Premier League bit when it comes to European competitions, they sit up and show why they're five times Champions League winners. The lose to Juventus was enough that they Liverpool can have Galatasaray knocked out.

Is this Arsenal season to win the champions league? Arsenal seems to have the easiest route to the final and their current form is enough to beat every team on their way this season.

The champions league don't usually works the way you are looking at it, the moment the group stages are over, every clubs you are seeing in the knockout stages are potential winners. Also you should remember that getting to the final doesn't guarantee that you will win the trophy. The way am seeing it, Arsenal has the same big task as every other teams that are fighting for the ticket to the final. Sometimes the favourite team from the round of 16 don't usually end up winning the trophy.

After the draws today, the matches I found most interesting to me are the one of Chelsea vs PSG and the one of Real Madrid vs Manchester City. For every other draws, there is a team that has a more capability of making it across to the quarterfinals ahead of their opponent in this game. As for Chelsea vs PSG match, Chelsea fans are already happy that they’ll get to qualify through because of their last meetup with PsG which ended up in a stylish defeat. We have another coach on board for PSG now, things may actually turn around in that game and PSG coming out better than Chelsea.

It's like the final result is likely to be determined from the start even though Galatasaray is a big club in its league but with the quality of Liverpool's players much better it looks like it will be very difficult for them to advance to the next round.
Currently Liverpool's performance is not too good but in the Champions League they are still one of the clubs that cannot be underestimated especially with the results of the league phase standings showing they are actually quite focused, it makes them more of a favorite here. But last season's shadow of losing in the last 16 phase can still happen, it's just that for that possibility now it's still very thin because of course Slot doesn't want them to follow the same mistakes last season.

Another possibility for Galatasaray if they make a miracle and beat Liverpool they are also difficult to survive because the quarter finals have Chelsea/PSG waiting.

Maybe it was a typo error but PSG didn't change coach, it was Chelsea and that might the deciding factor on whether they would progress or get kickout, I honestly don't know whose going to win in the match because from recent performances, PSG has been playing trash, maybe they would change when it get to that point.

As for the City v RM, City would want to get revenge for there last woeful defeat against Real Madrid and the fact that Arbeloa is the manager of RM doesn't really help the matter.

Most times that’s how it used to be, the favorites team to win tournament do change anytime because some teams do come from nowhere and give us the performance we never expected, and that is what we are seeing this season with Bodo Glimt.
As far as the champions league is concerned, Bido is one of the teams that shocked so many of us, they performed really well towards the end of the group stage and they did the same thing in the play off to defeat a last season Champions league finalist Inter Milan home and away, with that performance and how they defeated Manchester City also in the group stage, if they end up winning the competition I will not be surprised because they have all it takes to fight for the title.

Arsenal in the other hand really have the best squad, and have fair oppositions in their route that they can all defeat if they are in their best moment, but we can’t just give it to them since every team in knockout stage have equal chances of winning the competition, but Arsenal chance should be higher because they are the clear favorites.

Arsenal indeed has a very good path to the final but that can become even more easier for them if Barcelona is eliminated before reaching the semifinals. Just like how Arsenal are seeing an easy route to the finals, it is the same way Barcelona are also seeing it with Arsenal going to be their stumbling block. We may see both of them meeting in the semifinals and if that happens, that will be an interesting match to watch.

Luis Enrique will really want a revenge in this match and Chelsea’s ability to be able to beat them for the second time won’t be like the same or will be better since they’re now with a new manager different from the previous one that won them the trophy against PSG the last time. This will be a fierce match and one that we cannot just predict the outcome. A first leg match will give us a preview of who gets to make it to the quarterfinals of the competition from this point.

That is not true as you making it to be at this stage of the Uefa champions league every club is dangerous to play with, and so Arsenal can not be taken to have the easy fixture in this round. Arsenal are the most best performing club in the league, I know,  but we should not be too confident about them not meeting a club if their size.

I'm interested in the PSG - Chelsea fixture it will be the greatest anticipated of all fixtures in this stage, and in my opinion such tense fixture came too too early in the competition.

PSG has to be careful, Chelsea may hit PSG again for what I know they are always too strong to play against as a big club to when going against them as a small club.
