I'm more interested in the situation between Spain and Italy in the battle for second place in the rankings. Italy has four clubs, while Spain has six, but the imbalance is even greater because only one team is playing in the Champions League for Italy, while Spain has three. Moreover, Atalanta is playing Bayern Munich. I would say that Spain has a very good chance of overtaking Italy this season, or at least significantly reducing its gap.

This time Real Madrid doesn't have an experienced manager like Ancelotti. They might have had a good chance with Xabi Alonso if he was given time. But they chose to move on with Arbeloa. This doesn't look good for them as a result but we will see.

As a Real Madrid fan I don’t expect anything good from this current Real Madrid players because they lack winning mentality, this is not the Real Madrid we all know, Real Madrid is a team that don’t use to give up and they always use every opportunity they have to win a trophy but this current team is not good enough to compete in any competition this season, many players are not up to Real Madrid standards and the team sign them because they wanted to build a team with young players, Real Madrid is not a team that build players, Real Madrid is a team that buy star players.

Many injuries is part of the reason why the team is not doing well but the injury affect Barcelona too and Real Madrid have many opportunities to run away with the league title and they failed, imagine being ahead of Barcelona with nine points and now trying to catch up with 4 points is a disgrace to the greatest club of all time, Real Madrid need to sell some players and buy good players if not they will never win a trophy in the next 3 seasons, Manchester City will beat Real Madrid home and away in the Champions League round of 16.

I don't think Galatasaray are very strong as players, but they have plenty of determination, especially after they won against Juventus, they have every chance of winning against anyone, it's true that Juventus wasn't at a great level compared to a few years ago, but it must be said that they are still a very strong team.

English clubs have consistently dominated UEFA competitions, especially the Champions League, for nearly 10 years. I still remember the 2019 Champions League season, when all four semifinalists were English clubs. This season, all English clubs are still in the Champions League, and there's a chance an English club will advance to the semifinals. That's why the Premier League is considered one of the best competitions in the world, thanks to the impressive performances of Premier League clubs in the Champions League over the past few years.

Galatasaray allowing Juventus to beat them with a one man down has just exposed how weak Galatasaray is when playing away match in the Champions League, and I do not think  if Victor Osimhen will be able to save them from the hands of Liverpool.

I don't expect Manchester City under pep guardiola to change strategy because of any opponent you're up against, we have always known pep guardiola to be an attacking minded coach, so he is not going to change because of this game.
In my own opinion, it's an outright winning for Manchester City even though nothing is guaranteed, because tactical wise, Arbeloa isn't on the same level or isn't close to level of pep guardiola.

Well, not all matches you have to analyze with experience, some teams are just understanding with one another with their coach, they know how to move in any tough decision. If this was before the players had injuries, I will still believe that Real Madrid can still bend Manchester City and win them, it has happened many times before but with the critical conditions of the team, they are not going anywhere past this stage, they can't get away from this place.

Imagine Haaland against the back line of Real Madrid when everyone are injured, Rudiger is managing his legs, he can't play to his full potentials anymore, Mendy is weak and looking unstable, can't play a full time match again, if you check their forward, it's the same thing, there is no Bellingham, Mbape is out and Rodrigo is gone too. It was injury that made the season a bad one for Ancelotti before he got sacked. Real Madrid didn't give him the opportunity to fix the club before firing him if not, this problem wouldn't have lingered till this time.
