Galatasaray have played as well as they can in this first leg match, you should be grateful that even though you don't have more scores, you can at least win this match, Liverpool is not a team that can easily be beaten so you also have to understand.
30 minutes into the match, there hasn't been a single goal from either team, 0-0 is a boring match, I suggest you watch the Bayern Munich match which is much more exciting, Atalanta was completely slaughtered by Bayern Munich at home, this is very embarrassing for Atalanta

Bayern match isn't interesting to me because it's one sided. Galatasaray match was fascinating because both teams strength seems equal. Unlike, Bayern match that Atalanta isn't strong enough to match them.

On the other hand, Barcelona is still finding it difficult to break the deadlock as the host keep their defense wall very strong preventing Barcelona from penetrating easily.

90 minutes plus, Galatasaray is still leading Liverpool with 1:0 and I think this is going to be the second time Galatasaray is winning Liverpool this season if the game ends like this. I was expecting Liverpool to do better in this game because this is the only place they can contend somehow because as for the premier league they can not do anything about it and I think they have FA cup with Manchester city and I consider that a work over for Manchester city. Let's just hope they do better in their home.

Liverpool really tried in the second half but the game was not in their favour in the end. Liverpool needs to know that if they’re to beat Galatasaray, they’ll have to perform better than before and not play as they did in the first leg of this competition. Galatasaray are now feeling bigger and better after they prevailed against Inter Milan to advance to the round of 16, they now feel more confident and have grown to be a big team other contenders will be fearful of when they meet. Hard luck for Liverpool, I’m awaiting to see how the second leg will turn out to be at Anfield stadium.

I know very well that Galatasaray won Liverpool by two goals difference in the early stage of the Champions League but I don't expect Galatasaray to repeat the same thing tonight against Liverpool, so I am quite surprised that Galatasaray won Liverpool again. It seems Galatasaray knows how to play against Liverpool this season, and if I am right, Liverpool might find it difficult to win against Galatasaray at Anfield.

In the group stage of the champions league this season it was still a goal difference not 2 goals and it really baffles me that Liverpool have not won a game at turkey against galatasaray ever. Well for me I knew it was going to be a very difficult game for Liverpool but I at least expected them to score but instead they waste all the chances that was created.

I think in the second league of this game Liverpool will have a very much upper hand, they will be at home and that will make a very huge difference in the second league. As it stands I still gives Liverpool a higher chance of qualification than galatasaray. I think we will see a big comeback at Anfield next week.

The worst hirundines performance by Tottenham that I have seen so far, they are not only poor but bad. This is not what many of us bargained cause Atletico Madrid has already sealed this game in the first half as they could not even go toe to toe with the Spanish club for at lest the first half. Tudor might be sacked before the end of the season or after just as his predecessor losing in an embarrassing way as this.

I wonder how they got this bad, Tottenham used to have a fair performance in the Champions League, i don't really understand what's wrong in the club, I didn't expect them to win but 4 goals already in the first half? Ahh that's too bad.
 With this performance, I don't think that Tottenham would miss being relegated in the Premier League this is their 6th straight lose, correct me if I'm wrong. Yeah he should be sacked immediately if not Tottenham won't miss being relegated, as for this tournament, they're out already cause they might still concede more goals in the second half.

hahaha Many people thought that the Atalanta vs Munich match would be competitive. Even some of my friends have bet on Atalanta winning and drawing today. Since the match is Atalanta's home match. But I didn't make any mistake. I put my money on Munich winning. 

Munich will win now for sure. They took a 3 -0 lead in just  25 minutes. I am going to win money today. I avoided betting on the barcelona vs newcastle match . I considered barcelona as the favorite. But even then , in newcastle's home match, the victory will be quite difficult for Barcelona.

The match ended and Galatasaray won the match over Liverpool with a single goal from Lemina, it was a shame for Arne Slot not to be able to do more in this match, I thought previously Liverpool would win this match easily but in reality this match was very difficult and they lost 1-0, maybe this can be said to be normal because this match was in the first title at Galatasaray's home ground which certainly would be an unusual atmosphere for Liverpool, I think Liverpool will avenge their defeat in the second leg, I am quite sure of that.

It is not surprising that Galatasaray won Liverpool, they have done it before during the group stages of the Champions League and it was still same 1:0 win. Liverpool didn't play badly, they only had problems in scoring goals if not their attacks were fierce, better than Galatasaray. The only advantage that Galatasaray had was that early goal they scored in the first half otherwise they didn't play impressively in the second half. I don't fault Liverpool for losing this match but when they return to Anfield for the second leg, i believe that Liverpool can send Galatasaray out of the Champions League games.

Galatasaray defeated Liverpool 1–0 at home and gained an advantage by winning the first leg.

Liverpool will have to win by at least two goals next week if they want to advance to the next round, but we won’t give them that chance. A draw would be enough for us in that match.

Galatasaray played very well tonight. It wasn’t an easy game, they struggled at times but still managed to win.

In my opinion, every player on the team performed very well and in terms of gameplay we were better than Liverpool. Hopefully, we will win again next week and advance to the quarter finals.

What is going on here? 5 goals after only 26 minutes is absolutely insane at this level of competition.
We all knew Tottenham haven't been in their best shape recently, but I didn't expect that level of beating. After getting stunned with 4 goals in 20 minutes, they responded with a goal of their own. There's still plenty of time, so anything is possible. Probably Atletico will be set more defensively in the 2nd half in an attempt not to waste this huge advantage, but I hope I'm wrong and we'll see a double-digit number of goals.

Since I saw the fixtures, I knew that Atalanta will be eliminated because Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany will like to use this season as their season for the manager to lift the Champions League title for the team once again since they would have seen that only Arsenal and maybe Manchester City can challenge them in the competition. But never expected such goals to go down early in the first half 3 goals is much for first half, and if they keep playing with this momentum, they can score up to five goals to finish the game from the first leg.

Atletico Madrid on the other hand is trashing Tottenham 4-1, they are very lucky to have scored the goals early in the game which have almost helped them to secure their quarterfinal spot because I don’t think Tottenham have the ability to comeback into the game.

It’s surprising seeing that  Galatasaray won this match, although after what they did to inter Milan, Galatasaray become more confidence in the champions league match, they look more stronger in the champions league. Seriously, Liverpool need to play very well in their second leg, even though I saw that they still do well in this match that just ended, they did everything to see that they score goal.

But given that Galatasaray played at home, they become more stronger and don’t want disappointment while playing at home, let’s see what will happen in the second leg. Honestly, Liverpool tried in this match but the luck wasn’t by their side, it’s football Liverpool should be ready for the second leg.

Liverpool poor performance seems to be continuous, at least they would have try and get a draw in Galatasaray home instead of leaving the three points for them because that would have go a very long way for them. I don't even know how Tottenham managed to reach the round of 16 because what's this. Imagine losing by 4:1 in just first half, how will they second half look like with this level of poor performance from Tottenham. This might just be their early elimination from the Champions League because Atletico Madrid will want to win them with a high score margin so that they won't stand any chance in the second leg. Tudor have had many bad results since he became Tottenham's head coach, a sack is already knocking at the door for him, maybe after the Champions League games the club's management might announce his sack.

Bayern Munchen and Athletico Madrid are enjoying the evening more with 3 goals difference each, Newcastle and Barcelona are yet to have anything separate them in the first 45 minutes. Newcastle defense is rock solid and have not allowed any Barcelona attack to penetrate. It's obvious Barcelona would be having a real hard time breaking the hard defense line, that's if they don't end up pressing too much and leaving their own defence open to be exploited first.

To me this is the most heart throbbing match In the UCL today amongst the later fixtures as the rest of the matches are seeing teams farming goals. After the first half goalless draw it is safe to say that the referee is on our side [Barcelona], Newcastle are dominating the match and the talk from Hansi Flick is well needed for us to take this win because right now, winning is not in our favour.

I somehow believe that Liverpool will knock out Galatasary in this round. This Galatasary can't be trusted when it comes with away matches in the champions league. If they wanted to knock out Liverpool, they would have scored more goals than just winning with one goal. Remember that Galatasary lost the 3 goals advantage they had against Juventus. If not for the red card Juventus they would would have won Galatasary in the extra time. I know Liverpool a mess this season, but they will win Galatasary at Anfield in the second leg.

Tottenham were completely destroyed in this match. i think the second half might see a few more goals if Tottenham continue to make the same mistakes. if Tottenham want to maintain their pride, they will have to try their hardest to score as many goals as possible in the second half. it would be quite dramatic if Tottenham managed to equalize or even turn the game around. however, it would be a nightmare scenario for Tottenham if they concede more goals in the second half. Honestly, I'm not even sure why Tottenham chose Igor Tudor as their interim coach. there are plenty of other options out there. Igor Tudor has failed at his previous clubs as well, so Tottenham can't expect much from their current coach.

When the match started, I could see the fear in the eyes of Galatasaray players and they started making some mistakes but immediately they scored that first goal everything changed they started performing very well and defending very well, they even had more chances of scoring, if they can keep up with this kind of performance in the second half which I believe they will then they will win the match, I love the way Galatasaray are attacking very seriously they are very determined to win the match, Liverpool are not coordinated and that is why they are finding it hard to score, the match is very interesting and the second half will be more interesting, let see if Galatasaray will be able to win this match in their home.

I never expected the goal to come so quickly in that match. and I was even more surprised that galatasaray would be the first team to score in that match. galatasaray was truly able to match Liverpool's play. However, in the second half, I thought Galatasaray seemed a bit shaky. Their confidence had dropped slightly. I thought that in the ongoing second half, Liverpool might manage to equalize the score. But Galatasaray might score again. So there would be a few more goals.

Galatasaray didn't score any other goal, Liverpool didn't equalize. The match ended 1-0 in favor of Galatasaray. The second leg is what we will be looking out for as the first leg ended in 1-0 at the home of Galatasaray. Liverpool will do what they know best to score up to 2 goals without conceding, for them to kick Galatasaray out of the Champions League race.

It's incredible what's happening in Madrid with Tottenham performing elow expectations. I don't know what got into Tudor to leave Vicario out and I feel sorry for Kinsky because he could pay for a bad night that will haunt him throughout his career as happened to Karius.
