Who else sees Bodo Glimt advancing to the quarter finals in the Champions league? This is something that i never saw coming as this is the farthest they have come in the Champions League since their existence.

It is really impressive from this side, after eliminating Inter Milan with a 5-2 victory on aggregate which was quite disappointing from the previous Champions League finalists. What are your predictions for the next fixtures?

The major test should be against Arsenal, they have beaten other clubs like City, Inter Milan and At Madrid, but beating Arsenal who had 100% winning rate during the first stages would and should be a great deal.

I never take Carragher's words seriously, he's a big critics to other clubs when they don't perform well but you won't see him do same with Liverpool. Anfield might be a fortress but he never can tell what Galatasaray could do over there, another 1-0 defeat could send Liverpool parking from the tournament this season so he shouldn't be too sure that Liverpool would qualify. Bodø has done the unimaginable this season, they've beat several big teams to get this far,  it's surprising.

I didn't expect the result from the onset. Infact I thought Chelsea was going to beat PSG but I was wrong. A 3 goal lead could be difficult to play at home. PSG that has been out of form suddenly became an in-form team on seeing Chelsea.

It seems you have forgotten that PSG is the defending Champions and this was how they started their journey to win the league last season. They played poorly in the group stage and became strong from the playoffs. I hope they wouldn't replicate what they did last season in UCL this season. I'm ashamed of Chelsea

When PSG lost 1-3 to Monaco in the Ligue 1 i knew that they were cooking something bad but i never knew it they were cooking it for Chelsea as a revenge on what Chelsea did to them in past club world cup. PSG really played as the defending Champions though i wasn't expecting such performance from the defending Champions due to how poorly they have been playing recently. At this point i don't think if Chelsea has any other thing to do they should just surrender to PSG when they meet again in their second leg.

UEFA Champions League is on and we want match of Chelsea football team against Paris Saint-Germain football team which was on sided match in which one team did 5 goals in this match and opponent team did only 2 goals in this match. Kvaratskhelia performance was excellent in this match because he did back to back goals in this match. He did his first goal at 86 minutes of the match with they wanted to make match one sided and they wanted to close match as early as possible. Kvaratskhelia also did last goal of the match and he did this goal at 94 minutes of the match but Barcola did first goal of the match and he did this goal at 10 minutes of the match and gave good start to his team and after that Dembélé continued their effort and did goal again at 40 minutes of the match.

For me, I see no come back, I believe the game is over. You can't possibly beat real Madrid with  3:0 advantage from the first leg, even though they are away from home. Teams like Tottenham, Chelsea and  Manchester city I believe is out of the tournament. I don't believe they can overturn the results in the second leg because the goal margin is up to 3 goal. We can only hope on Liverpool, Arsenal and Newcastle to perform some magic and still qualify. Liverpool still has enough hope to win since they only conceded just a goal, but even at that, we can't underestimate The Turkish side, they can still do something great, because they are a great team presently

Four Premier League teams have reached  the last 16, but unfortunately, none of them managed to secure a win in the first  leg, and I don’t think any of them stand much of a chance in the second leg (particularly Tottenham and Man City, who did indeed  suffer devastating defeats in the first leg). They do still have a chance, but it’s unlikely to be easy given that Arsenal and Liverpool  have to play away from home, while Man City and Tottenham  must make up a three-goal deficit. The Premier League, with its four representatives, actually has  the chance to secure the fifth spot for next season, but that opportunity could be  lost if they are knocked out in the round of 16.

You are right. Manchester City had a tactical mistake. Guardiola wanted to stop Vini. But the question came out of the box. Valverde surprised everyone with a great performance. Guardiola was successful in his strategy, because he was able to stop Vini. But City's defenders completely failed to stop Valverde.

There is no doubt that Real Madrid performed excellently in this match. Even I am sure Madrid fans expected Madrid to play so well in this match. Valverde scored a hat-trick in the first half. At the same time, every attack of City was able to be blocked by Madrid's defenders. In the second half, Vini could not score from the penalty spot. If he had scored this goal, Madrid would have won 4-0.

I highly doubt Newcastle will be a problem for Barcelona. While I understand that the first game did not ended as well as they hoped for, yes that is true, and I understand things aren't looking as great as they hoped. But that doesn't mean that we are going to see this becoming the norm, we are going to see things change one way or another and we just have to face that fact.

So as much as we try to make this work, we can't really think that Newcastle would have any chance on the second game.

Hansi Flick must have learned from yesterday's first leg and knows Newcastle United's weaknesses. I also think Barcelona won't lose at Camp Nou. It's their home ground, and that's where they'll be playing against Newcastle United on the 19th.
If they don't learn from yesterday's match, it will be very disappointing.

Of course Barcelona has learned from the first leg and will try hard in the second leg, but I remember in the previous meeting when Barcelona was able to beat Newcastle away but when they met again in the round of 16, Barcelona was unable to do it again, but I believe in the second leg Barcelona can beat Newcastle. Newcastle's defense is strong but I think it will be different when playing at Camp Nou later, Barcelona will definitely be more confident so I think Newcastle must prepare for the worst in this round of 16, but if Newcastle can hold Barcelona to a draw again and can get to the penalty shootout it will be very good and it will be very tense to see who will qualify for the quarterfinals.

I think you are very wrong to confuse Barcelona and Tottenham. Look at Tottenham's position in the Premier League and where Barcelona and Atlético Madrid rank in La Liga. Atlético are certainly far from their golden years, but compared to Tottenham, they're stronger in every way.
Atalanta has no chance even if Bayern plays with ten men for the entire 90 minutes.
If Galatasaray plays as cowardly in the return leg as they did in the return leg against Juventus, they have no chance even for extra time.

Atalanta is already out in my opinion, impossible with 6 goals conceded at home.
Regarding Barcelona, I see them in a good position, but right now what i see isn't happening. i thought Manchester City would destroy Real Madrid, and the opposite happened.
So honestly i am still too shocked to say anything.

Manchester City weren't able to do much more than i expected too, honestly i would never have thought of such a heavy defeat, but i still saw the victory as very difficult, and so it was, there wasn't much to do, Real Madrid are currently recovering and are superior.

Of course, this has become a habit for other teams, especially now that Manchester City is experiencing it. They have been quite consistent this season in both the UCL and the EPL. In the EPL, they are competing with Arsenal for the title this season. They have a significant gap in points, but currently only a two-point gap, meaning they are a team everyone should be wary of. However, with this defeat, they seem to have lost their mental fortitude in a team that is currently under the spotlight of many parties, namely Real Madrid.

I think with such a crushing score, this is certainly not an easy task for Pep Guardiola, even though Man City will be the host in the second leg. However, this victory has further motivated Real Madrid to play the second leg, especially as the confidence of Velverde seems to be returning to the best form he has experienced in previous seasons.

Bodø surprised me again. First, they threw Inter off their stride, and now it looks like they might do the same with Sporting. Both Inter and Sporting were considered leaders in their domestic leagues, while almost no one paid attention to Bodø in the Bundesliga till recent time. I wonder what the real reason is behind their current success in UEFA Champions League. Their squad doesn’t seem to have any top-tier players.

I could say that Bodø is an anomaly because they are not filled with expensive players, in fact their names are not even heard by many people, but they can get this far in the Champions League just by relying on their situation like that-- this really is a pure ball game and mentality I think because they are able to face big teams without being afraid and able to play consistently. With what they are showing now, maybe they will go through to the next round with confidence.

This match was clearly a difficult challenge for Barcelona who played very defensively and wasn't very careful, i have to say that they could have easily given more, the return leg for Newcastle will be very difficult because it will be played at Barcelona's home ground and it won't be easy.

Bodo Glimt has become a team that the star chasing youth tends to overlook, yet football romantics can't stop praising. I believe most of their players will move to top European clubs by the end of the year. with their modest budget they’ve managed to earn some serious money from the Champions League.

Exactly friend, but aside this, what was Manchester city expecting, do they just want see a team like Realmadrid to Stay calm and watch them win, this match was an opportunity for Manchester city to win but when playing a team like Realmadrid that we know the positions they have held in the past, every of their players should be seen as a threat, I think Realmadrid was underrated and I do not know why, may be the because of their injuries, instead of underrating a team as Realmadrid, it will be be nice to take things serious with them and win them convincingly, that match was planned by Realmadrid, they already had this idea of what you said so they tried another option to confused their opponent and it worked for them.

Bodø/Glimt's Champions League performance has surprised many, beating top teams, and they now have the chance to reach the quarterfinals, a remarkable achievement for a surprise Champions League team. If Bodø/Glimt advances to the quarterfinals, which I think they will, especially after securing a 3-0 first-leg victory. And if they also beat Sporting Lisbon in the second leg, especially at home, it would be historic for them, as they would become the only Norwegian league team to advance to the Champions League quarterfinals.
