Liverpool is not performing up to the expectations of most football fans. Therefore, PSG might win on this game. The French side is not as good as it was last season but they still have the quality. Most of the players who contributed greatly to the success of the club in both the UCL and the Ligue One are still available.

Real Madrid against Bayern Munich is the biggest match. The German side is topping the Bundesliga and has a good coach and some sound players. Real Madrid's weakness might be the tactical part of the game. They have a young coach that had not been proven and tested in big games like this. Álvaro Arbeloa would be pleased to have Mbappe fit for these important games.

Kompay and Arbeloa are young coaches to be they're on the same level, both are just lucky to manage the biggest clubs in the world, I'm expecting a tough game in both legs , when it comes to champions League Real Madrid is the king and they know how to win games in this tournament, Bayern munich will have to work hard to scale through this stage, Real Madrid is a good test for them this season, they have been outstanding in the league and in the champions League this season, winning Real Madrid will compliment their season. But can they achieve it, Real Madrid has been struggling but their performance in the champions League are different from their poor performance in the league.  To me Real Madrid is favorite to qualify to the semi finals.

PSG will defeat Liverpool, I don't see Liverpool winning PSG, Psg might win the title again, they're too good , the qualities in the squad is so good, they can beat any team in competition, they're great team with top players.  Arsenal will qualify, sporting cp can't be a problem to this Arsenal team.

The better teams all got their wins on this leg. Did not expected Barcelona to have a 7 goal victory to be fair, after the first game being a tie, I assumed the second game would be slowed down a bit and Barcelona would still win but barely, that did not happen, we have seen them end up with amazing second game and got a very easy victory and destroyed Newcastle.

And not like Newcastle played badly, they managed to play as well as they could hope for and hanged with Barcelona for a while until Barcelona just started to dissect Newcastle completely.

I even tried my luck by picking Newcastle. Hahaha, the first half went well, I thought I wasn't wrong, but I don't know what went wrong with Newcastle because in the second half, everything changed drastically, especially after Fermin Lopez goal, Newcastle defense became very fragile, and they continued to score goals, although a bit disappointed with the final score, I still accepted it because Barcelona deserved to win the match with the quality of their play.

Barcelona next opponent was Atletico Madrid, a quarterfinal that wasn't easy for Hansi Flick men.

I'd have loved to be happier today after the last results in the CL. However we messed up a lot against Liverpool and got off lightly as well. The final score could have been much worse!

So you are underestimating Real Madrid to reach the semis, that's a joke right? Real Madrid will beat Bayern Munich, PSG will win Liverpool for sure, Barcelona will beat Atletico Madrid and obviously, Arsenal will win Sporting Lisbon. I could still remember how Arsenal won Sporting Lisbon with a massive score of 5:1 in 2024/2025 UCL season, i don't think anything will change this season. So, on my own prediction of teams that will make it to the semifinal are; Real Madrid, PSG, Barcelona and Arsenal. Almost same teams that made it to the semifinals last season, it's only Inter Milan that's not on the list. The draw for the semifinals will probably be PSG versus Real Madrid and Barcelona versus Arsenal. However, the toughest game of the quarter finals is definitely going to be Real Madrid versus Bayern Munich.

Real madrid to win Bayern Munich? I don't really think so like it's going to be a one heck of a game because before then Real madrid all injured players might have come back so it will so likely be like the clash of the Titan like i can't really tell who could win between them but i'm very much certain Real madrid can't beat Bayern Munich like they has done to Manchester city, but if truly i will bet on that game then i will definitely bet on Bayern Munich to win because i see more confidence in Bayern Munich than Real madrid so i will definitely bet on Bayern Munich to win.

It's just sad and all for me... I mean there is no problem with losing to a top club like Liverpool in this way. The thing I was frustrated with was the way we played... 

Once again we played like we did against Juventus away. We were simply terrible! But this time we had a much more powerful competitor against us. Galatasaray should be thankful for not losing by a historical score.


I wonder if Liverpool will have revenge on PSG this time. You know PSG barely eliminated them by penalties last season.

It was almost impossible for Galatasaray to win. Actually, I had some hope when the first half ended; Uğurcan Çakır played brilliantly and provided great support to the team. But in the second half, we witnessed classic Turkish football, conceding goals one after another, and it was completely over. Uğurcan Çakır was definitely the most valuable player of the match.
I'm sure he'll receive transfer offers to play for a big club next season; he's on the radar of many teams

Sporting is definitely a good team, but if Arsenal could chose their oponnent, do you think they would chose anyone else as their oponnent instead of them? I am not so sure.

I checked their  previous matches in this season’s UCL, they haven’t faced that much tough club but they’ve faced  3  which are PSG , Bayern and Juventus among others.. They lost to Bayern, won against PSG with a margin of 1 goal and draw against Juventus..

Those aren’t bad stats and even though they have a slim chance against Arsenal, I won’t be surprised if they escape with a tiny margin( would be a crazy night for Arsenal  ).

Barcelona showed absolutely pure class and Newcastle couldn't just keep up with the style of play as they were tired out trying to press this Barcelona team, I guess Barcelona actually did their homework from the first leg and knew exactly how to tackle the game that would result to their victory and they did just that. As for the quarter finals against Athletico Madrid that's gonna be a game that Barcelona would be looking to take revenge on after they were knocked out by Athletico Madrid in the copa del ray competition.

PSG is likely going through over Liverpool by my own accessment, by current form Liverpool is not up to the standard of playing with PSG. Liverpool barely escape elimination against Galatasary and could only salvage their way in the second leg at home.  Looking at Liverpool win against Galatasary I was not that impressed because, Galatasary is not that kind of opposition that Liverpool should be struggling against despite the goals scored. Any good team will disgrace Liverpool currently which I think PSG can do that.

Last season, when Liverpool performed exceptionally well, PSG managed to beat them in the round of 16 and even beat Liverpool in front of their home crowd. This season, with Liverpool slightly unstable form and PSG on fire even their incredible performance against Chelsea, Liverpool will certainly struggle to qualify against PSG.

I'm very confident PSG will advance to the semifinals especially as the defending champions. They're certainly motivated to repeat last season's success, although it won't be easy. Even if PSG can beat Liverpool they'll face a much tougher opponent like Munich or Real Madrid.

I mentioned earlier in this topic that I thought Barca would struggle against Newcastle. They did, but only in the first half. I think the third goal shocked them—somehow they simply couldn’t react positively after that. It’s as if they thought, “Okay, we can score two goals against this Barca side, but three is ridiculous.” All in all, it’s simply a result that I didn’t expect to happen.

Your predictions looks good tho, but when in the case of Liverpool vs PSG I'm gonna leave a gap on that one, because I'm not even gonna lie Liverpool is entirely different in champions league, or maybe they haven't met a strong club yet

In football everything is very much possible so I dont believe that what happened was because of difference in level between both teams but lack of concentration and also underestimated the performance of Barcelona in the second leg. Agreed, that the best team doesn't always win in football but I don't know whether we will see that when PSG faces Liverpool. Because by squad base and formation, PSG appears as the bull dog over Liverpool.

This is a crucial game to watch and I'm definitely going to cancel all my schedules just to get entertained by these pro on the pitch. Another clash from these two sides, I feel Barcelona will be at a more advantage to win the match than Atletico Madrid would be in this match. It may look all tough maybe playing in Madrid home, but I feel Barcelona will make use of the advantage of their home in this game, so there is a high possibility of them dominating it more and prevailing over Atletico Madrid. This may be the champions league, which is is different from the champions league, but I’m not still convinced that any team would find it easier to make it to the next round.

You just don’t give up so easily, you’re already seeing your team as a lesser to them, so you won’t find them accountable even if they lose and not win again PSG. The champions league has for long being a game of surprises and that only makes the game even more interesting to watch, as even the underdogs gets to perform in the least way possible you would have imagined. This will be a tough fight, PSG won’t pass through easily if at all they would ever get to.

You're right to some extent but La Liga games are good too, you won’tknow the standard until they orgainise Laliga x EPL games .
The only  difference is that the level at which Barcelona, Real Madrid specifically, and Atletico are playing in La Liga is way above other teams.
The gap is always wide even when they aren’t really performing well. Barcelona and Real Madrid this season haven’t been really performing up to their standard and yet they are still maintaining the top position.

Real Madrid are often the best in the champions league especially has the competition get more tougher but the game against Bayern Munich is more open to any team. They both have better chance of winning, attacking prowess, both teams are scary especially Bayern in regarding consistency and number of goals scored. Also, another factor is that both teams backline are not really solid and for me I am more worried are Real Madrid will cope with such backline against the fierce attack of the Bayern Munich team.

This game is open for both also, I feel like if Liverpool can defend better than have the attacking depth to get the goals enough to move on to the next round, PSG is not as solid as before, we have seen are inconsistent they were in their domestic league and same as Liverpool and so you can't just rule out Liverpool who are still capable of winning it.

Chelsea lost against PSG is not a basic to state this because some of those goals they scored could have been well enough ignored by a better team with good backline.

I don't think they stand much of a chance against PSG. Liverpool lost 1-0 to Galatasaray in the first leg, but they conceded a lot of defensive chances. Paris Saint-Germain has dozens of players who can take advantage of those opportunities. They won't be as easy a match for them as Galatasaray. The path to the semi-finals seems clear for Paris Saint-Germain. I don't think they'll have much trouble reaching the semi-finals. They'll win both legs.
