Arsenal are really the luckiest about draw. They are facing Sporting this time after eliminating Leverkusen. They should be able to qualify for the semi finals nicely as well.

Arsenal are yet to play their mates in the UEFEA Champions League this season. Playing oppositions like Bayer leverkusen and Sporting CP,  Mikel Arteta is using his time to humiliate these opposites sides. Arsenal are in rage and nobody would plan to face them base on their statistics in the UEFEA Champions League. An unbeaten form is what boost the performance of the club.

The only opposition that is tough for Arsenal is when they will face Barcelona. This is the only opposition that will give Mikel Arteta headache. I look forward to watching these opposite fierce sides meeting each other. A tough game we would want to see this season.

Sure. Arsenal is actually in their best performance, they will be facing Sporting. Although to some extent, giving full confidence about winning in this stage is actually to risk, but with the current performance of Arsenal they will win this match, they are the at top, looking for way to qualify for the semi final, they will do everything within their power to see that they succeed in winning against Sporting.

Sporting is going to be playing at home, that’s why I’m still giving them some confidence even though I know they won’t win, but since they are going to be play at home, they will also have that home motivation, just the way Leverkusen did in the first leg against Arsenal in the round of 16.

Seriously, you think Atletico Madrid will beat Barcelona in the quarter finals. I wouldn't be so sure about that. I know they did it in copa de rey, but I dont think they can repeat it in the Champions League.

As for Arsenal, Bayern, and PSG, I have a strong feeling they will qualify through to the semi-finals.

Comparing the two competitions mentioned, I also share the same opinion that priorities are definitely different, so Barcelona will be giving their all to ensure they reach the semifinals this season.

This isn't to belittle Atletico Madrid, but as we've seen, they still make frequent mistakes. Although they can win in other competitions, as I said before, each team has different priorities. However, I don't rule out the possibility that Atletico Madrid could beat Barcelona; it's entirely possible.

I don’t think facing Sporting in the next round will be a easy task for Arsenal. We saw how Sporting played in their last match against Bodo, they lost the first leg, but they prepared for the second leg to revenge against Bodo. To be honest, Arsenal should not underestimate them during the both legs, Arsenal have a strong defense in the Champions League currently, but their attacking players are not pressing their opponents enough to score goals, unlike they did at the beginning of the season.

Sporting will host the first leg, that should be an opportunity for Arsenal to win or draw the first leg, since they will have the home advantage to win the second leg at home. Since last season, I would like to see Arsenal playing against Barcelona, some Barcelona fans believe they can beat Arsenal, but I don’t think they can do it since they were unable to beat Chelsea this season.

The quarter finals are very interesting at the moment because 3 of the 4 matches are all big matches, I slightly ruled out Arsenal against Sporting even though Sporting is also a big club in their league but compared to the other clubs in the quarter finals at the moment then they will be considered as a dark horse club for this quarter final.

Arsenal are clearly superior in terms of probability but the Champions League is a bit tricky for us to predict from the start even for Sporting who are 3 goals down to Bodo they can make a comeback in the last 16.
For the other 3 matches I think they have an equal probability because they are the ruling club in their respective leagues although currently Liverpool are also in a trend that is not very good but for the EPL they are the hope besides Arsenal so they must be able to work harder against PSG.

The quarter final will be interesting sure but Arsenal vs sporting will be the cheep game for Arteta and I get the believe that Arteta have already qualified to the semi finals and they will be waiting between Athletico Madrid or Barcelona one of them will face them in the semi final this season. He seems that Arsenal can get the opportunity to play final this season and even get more chances to achieve the trophy, but for now I don't get sure if they can win it because they us have tough clubs in the competition and we will see who will get the opportunity to play the final this season.

 Real Madrid are still in the Champions League so have not decided who can win the ucl this season they need to eliminate madrid first before you can decide who will win it next because if madrid are in the Champions League they are always the best to win it, and you will see there round of 16th many fans are saying Manchester City will eliminate madrid in the ucl this season but at ends madrid eliminate them and win the first leg and second that should have show that madrid are in a good form in the ucl this time around.

Even though Arsenal will face Sporting but I would not consider this an easy match because being in the quarter-finals obviously their spirit will look much different and this could be more troublesome for Arsenal, Indeed for now Arsenal will be the favorite to win but to say this is easy I would not agree.

What needs to be done now is not to underestimate Madrid despite their incomplete squad. There were a lot of doubts about Madrid and we could see a lot of posts about it in the previous pages when they faced Manchester City in the first leg but that didn't apply when the game happened.
As long as Bayern don't take it easy then their chances are obviously very high but to be honest Madrid always have their own way of winning in the Champions League even when they are on a downward trend.

Arsenal looks to advance further from the quarterfinals because of the team they’ll face, let us not make this sounds so easy for them so that when an unexpected outcome is seen, we should not feel surprised. Arsenal are the best team to advance for the semifinals though, but they may not find it very easy to achieve that.

All eyes are on Arsenal as they fight for the Champions League trophy alongside the premier league title they’re also keen to win this season also. A matchup between Barcelona and Arsenal will indeed be a tough one to watch, that’s if Barcelona advances to the semifinals. I’ll anticipate for that matchup to really test Arsenal’s strength this season.

It's true that Newcastle won't be on Barcelona's level because the gap between the two is so obvious, but being thrashed 7-2 was a real humiliation, like Barcelona playing against a second division team, it was a real shame for them.
I thought Newcastle could have fought back a little, but the pressure of playing against Barcelona at Camp Nou made them helpless, and that resulted in them being eliminated with such a heavy scoreline, that their fans even went home before the game was over.

English clubs has just been a disgraced, only two teams qualified for the quarter final, only because they played against teams that are not strong neither competitive in the league. It is so embarrassing if they say the Premier League is a lot tougher than other league, whereas the Champions League is dominated by La Liga teams, even the great Pep side could not defend against Real Madrid, Newcastle was just another victim we long expected to be an easy pass for Barcelona.

You are right the English league clubs made an embarrassment of their league with how they were lashed out of the Uefa champions league but do you not think it was just another bad champions league season for them just as it has previously occurred with other leagues club, the Spanish league can be an example of we do a research on this on the champions league history. 

I do not want to cook the English clubs beyond reasonable length but what I can voice out about what has happened is that the league is overrated and it is affecting the clubs thay they feel too comfortable to think that they can conquer any other leagues club at any playing field.

This should serve as a time of reflection by the English FA and the clubs to put in more work and cut off unnecessary hypes that is not supposed to be just to sell their league to the world.

You can see how quickly everything changes. Two weeks ago it was said that the EPL is above every other league and they were praised for the qualification of 6 teams! Now 2 teams are left and I think apart from Manchester City, the results were no surprise. Atletico to beat Tottenham, PSG to beat Chelsea, Barcelona to beat Newcastle and then of course the unlucky match for Manchester City. It was not like anyone thought they could get all 6 teams into the quarterfinals. They still collected a lot of points for the club ranking, but it is disappointing for them for sure.

Galatasaray and Newcastle both didn't have a realistic chance. It's possible to beat Liverpool at home as Galatasaray, but defending that advantage in Liverpool was highly unlikely.

It's still fresh in memory how all of that was celebrated by the EPL fans about the league having the most number of teams going into the round of 16 but it unfortunate for them that just 2 managed to get through to the quarter finals.

For Chelsea, I expected some revenge from PSG and when the French team eventually won with the much goals margin I knew it was over into the second fixture as a walk over match.

City was were I felt a tough clash would be seen but it got even bad that Real Madrid got 3 goals in less than 30 minutes. Entirely it's a worse UCL season for the EPL teams.

Bayern Munich's goal productivity is indeed impressive, averaging almost four goals overall in the Bundesliga. Conversely, when they beat Atalanta, perhaps the number of goals they scored in that match will strengthen their position in this season's Champions League. But I agree with your point because sometimes facing evenly matched opponents can make a difference. In the next match Bayern Munich will face Real Madrid and Real Madrid is quite superior in the Champions League rivalry, so Bayern Munich must be cautious.

We didn't have any real surprise today, at least if we talk about the teams that qualified. I was surprised to see Newcastle conceding 7 goals, I understand Barcelona are superior but they can't lose like that... Of course, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are absolutely the big match of the quarter final which seems quite unpredictable. Till now I am still wondering how the match would look like because both of them were quite favorite in the Champions league title race but right now one of them need to surrender in the game because it's a must and there is nothing else can change it. Don't underestimate the king of this competition because they're still the favorite for me. I won't believe that Bayern will win Real Madrid until, I confirm it with my own eyes. Real Madrid might not have all the players present but the ones available are capable of winning the game.
