I think you're are right there are many factors that can motivate players and also affect their performance negatively. Having an experienced coach will definitely boost their performance so with Arbeloa I don't think they can motivated enough but then Bayern Munich coach is also not so experienced so it can be a fair game which would be decided by current form and luck.
