However Munich is slightly more motivated because they won last night at Real Madrid's home ground albeit by a narrow margin. Although Bayern and Arsenal won in narrow margins, I prefer the Real Madrid vs Bayern Munich match to the Sporting vs Arsenal match. In fact, it’s still possible for Real madrid to turn things around in the second leg. Losing by a narrow margin won’t make Real Madrid give up so easily. but Bayern Munich will certainly play with more confidence when they’re at home.

In that match, I really praised Bayern Munich’s goalkeeper, Manuel Neuer. and I think Bayern is very lucky to have a goalkeeper as strong as Manuel neuer.

What surprised me is that I only just realized Manuel neuer is a 40 year old goalkeeper. but I see him as a goalkeeper who is still very fit and possesses agility and quick reflexes that are no less impressive than those of youunger goalkeepers.

Anything short of victory for arsenal would have been seen as a failure because sporting Lisbon is a team they should be winning convincingly, no disrespect to them, but they are not on the same level with arsenal, that is why I was really disappointed in arsenal throughout the game when it was goal less, but they were lucky that they got their winning at the dieing minute of the game when everyone thought that the game was going to end in a draw.
So they now take this important one nil lead to the emirate stadium where they can seal their progress to the semi final of the competition, but this arsenal team really needs to improve if they want to really fight for the uefa champions league trophy, because their performance recently hasn't been convincing when compared to other top teams.

I support your stance that anything can happen in the second leg in Allianz Arena. This is because Real Madrid would have won the game if not for the fact that they lost so many chances. But they have to work on their defence and goalkeeper. They made some terrible blunders that would have been catastrophic.

Bayern, on the other hand have the advantage. They won away at Santiago Bernabéu and will be playing at home. Real Madrid will be without some key players, such as Aurélien Tchouaméni, who was booked yesterday.
