Not all can maintain the stability of performance in every match, especially in a tight match schedule so I do not overreact to what happened to Liverpool last season and what must be realized is that in the knockout competition everything is possible to happen and also what must be remembered is that the competition in the Champion League is very fierce with quite high tension so that we often see surprises that occur in the Champion League competition, even that happens almost every season.

The fact that Liverpool went out at such an early stage may indicate that they became champions in the Premier League so easily because they did not feel the competition from City, and Arsenal, as always, could not maintain consistency throughout the season. It is easy to lead when no one is nipping at your heels, and I want to see what Liverpool can do in the new season, because I hope that Guardiola can lead City out of this long-term crisis and get them back on track.

If we can get out of Paris with a narrow loss, I see it as a good result. Seriously, any result where we still have a chance to turn it around at Anfield will be good.

I think we are going to get battered but a 2-0 or 3-1 loss would give us a slight chance at Anfield. Feels sad that we have fallen so much so any result where we are not totally out of it will be OK.

Barca has lost it, they are currently trailing 2 goals down as the the score is staggering 2-0 in advantage of Athletico Madrid, one of the fundamental thing I know Hansi Flick did wrong was removing Pedri, it feels like the whole defensive structure lost it's balance. And don't get me started with Gavi and his anger issue as he has already gotten a yellow card, hence, reducing his defensive plays.

In tonight's game I'm expecting Barcelona and PSG to go through, because Barcelona is in  better form than ATM, but it's not  going to be an easy match for Barcelona because we know ATM as a very stubborn team, to be precise. Then for PSG, it's obvious that PSG is in a super form that Liverpool is right now, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how Liverpool is going to withstand the pressure that PSG is going to exercise over Liverpool FC. I hope they don't get so humiliated in this game, as Liverpool has dropped to its lowest form lately.

Losing a player due to a red card made Barcelona very weak in facing the fast game displayed by the team coached by Diego Simone. A free kick goal from Julian Alvares and a goal from a counterattack scored by Alexander Sorlth utilizing a pass from Ruggeri from the wing currently increases Atletico Madrid lead to a score of 0-2. I hope they will add to the number of goals by taking advantage of the situation because Barcelona played with 10 men due to Pau Curbasi's red card. Lamine Yamal played quite well but Atletico defense was quite solid, several opportunities failed to be used into goals, it seems that the defensive strategy with occasional counterattacks to Barcelona defense was quite effective in this match.

Everyone thought Barcelona were going to lose because of Raphina influence, he is not with them in this one, so many people expected them to lose on this one but I was having confidence that they were going to win. The last Laliga has given me a confidence booster that they can do it but it turn out that Atletico Madrid are 1 player better than Barcelona, immediately they got the red card that was immediately Barcelona conceded a goal from Atletico.

The game isn't over yet, there isn't they would have done that what they are doing. If they can't score with this way, they need to keep up with the match and manage the team like that. If they can withstand the team With 1 goal until the end of the minutes, they will have not only hope but chance to come back in the second leg. There is no way Atletico Madrid will be tough than Barcelona in the second leg unless they want to be useless and don't care about the next match.

You don't get it. They need the win because they are at home. They know better when it comes to playing at Atletico's home,it's always harder because there's something about Atletico's field that makes it difficult to maintain balance.

Atletico Madrid have taken the advantage of red card by adding another goal just as you predicted. I like the way they perform because once they see any opportunity they are blow it up, I am still not comfortable with their Victory because Barcelona is a very dangerous team that normally come back is never a problem to them even though they went for an away match. Atletico Madrid should also reflect to their home and away match they play this season, I know barcelona was defeated but Atletico Madrid faced a lot of challenges in their second leg which i will also expect that to happen, so they should try to look back so that they can easily eliminate Barcelona from Champions League.
