Atletico Madrid still have a chance to win a trophy, they are in Semi final, all they have to do is defeat Arsenal and compete against whoever qualifies between PSG and Bayern Munich, with the tension in final, anything can happen, they might win the title if they play intensely.

I felt really bad when they lost the Copa del Rey, i trusted them to win the trophy, after defeating Barcelona for the final spot. Barcelona fans on the day of the final, would be really excited watching Atletico lose to Real Sociedad.

I feel that Arsenal as a team is up to the standard of winning the premier League yet for what ever reasons best known to them. Because I don't see the reason why a team like Arsenal who led the league with about a ten points gap at a particular point of the season is today struggling to maintain the top spot. Sometimes I don't understand Arsenal. If they're already leading the standings, they should be more motivated to finish the final matches of the season, ultimately yielding positive results. Arteta certainly needs to fix all of this before it's too late, and Arsenal's chances of winning the EPL trophy are slim because Manchester City continues to try to overtake Arsenal.

Arsenal had a great chance of winning both the champions league and the premier league this season. But I wouldn't be surprised  if they didn't win either title. And that's a possibility now. Winning the champions league is always uncertain. Every team here is very strong. Arsenal have fallen behind a lot after losing their last two matches in the premier league. It's difficult for them  to hold on to the top spot. Even then, if they can maintain their winning streak in the next matches, Arsenal will be at the  top of the table.

I think we are both on the same side, with arsenal current performance i doubt if they will be able to win Atletico Madrid in the semi final first leg that is schedule to hold on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, and the second leg which is to hold on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. I am doubting it because Atletico Madrid is too inform for arsenal to win easily, and even if arsenal end up winning Atletico Madrid in the semi final i will say it is luck, because the arsenal team style of playing is no longer interesting. the arsenal coach should better work on his team, before it will be too later, because the arsenal team is about to repeat what happened later season again this season.

However the PL club needs consistency in the first leg and second leg against Atletico Madrid in the upcoming Champions League semi-finals and they will need to achieve the ability to do something miraculous i think they will have to rely on this to beat Atletico Madrid, and then qualify for the final of the 25/26 Champions League.

I'll agree with you cause the remaining teams are all tough, even Atletico Madrid that looks like the weakest won't be an easy team to win, Barcelona couldn't beat them easily so I don't expect that Arsenal would do that especially now that their team has become weaker any team that wants to reach the finals would really need to work very hard to get there.

Arsenal played at full strength from the start of the season, and the Arsenal you saw at the end was a team that had lost its stamina, mentality, and spirit. So it's no surprise that their fans are starting to doubt their chances of winning the semi finals. I also see Arsenal as the favorite simply because Arsenal is leading the Premier League which is quite an achievement as we all know how difficult the Premier League is. I don't think they will be devastated like Liverpool was as they are much better now as a team and Arsenal is more eager to progress further in the final compared to Atletico Madrid. Of course I do not write off Atletico Madrid because I know they are a good team also so most probably a very good and technical game to watch on the next match day.

The challenge of Arsenal is the defenders if truly you are following Arsenal games, because what happened to them in the premier league that made Manchester city to beat them 2:1 is because Arsenal defenders made some mistakes that gave Manchester city strikers those opportunity. Well this is champion league tournament, I believe that on Arsenal if their coach can work on their defenders, because I notice that their midfield is very strong but their defensive area is weak for their opponent to have their way.

I don't think Atletico Madrid will have their way on this game, because Arsenal will not going to allow them the way they disgrace their opponent to qualified for this semi final. I know that both club have potential players but Arsenal will do what will make them qualify for final, because they are capable to win this semi final game to encourage their fans ahead of the final stage.

Atletico madrid are always known to be an underdog against any top team in the uefa champions league due to the type of defensive football that they plays, against arsenal they are tag the underdog because people believes that they are going to play more defensive football than attacking. I have little confidence in arsenal and it could be the last of it especially if they didn't beat atlectico madrid. I haven't pointed out manchester city who are close in behind arsenal by three points, so as it stands arsenal might  go trophyless if they don't have strategic plan to defeat atlectico madrid and to win consistently in the premier league to stay ahead ahead Manchester city in the table. You are right but the lapses people are talking about is from the Premier league not in the champions league though they struggled to qualify against Sporting but if you ask me I can not say Sporting is a weak team in the champions league because even in their league they are always around 1-3 position so they are not weak. Arsenal either is not weak just that they have been so unfortunate and unlucky this period and this is beginning to look like a seasonal something for them because they always fuck things up at this time in every season (3-4 seasons now).

The group qualification already finished a long time ago, and now they will have to play semi final matches against Atletico Madrid. Their season in Champions League is good so far but they must beat Atletico Madrid for having another final match in UEFA Champions League. What happened in group qualification and other previous rounds are no longer important, they can be proud of their performances so far but participating in the final match or not, win the title or not, it depends on their performances in two semi final matches, then the final match if they can be there.

Saying Arsenal performed more or less impressive than Bayern Munich so far is not too important, as result and achievement at the season ending is most important.
