Como is building a team that wants to be near the top, not this season of course that is too quick, but they have a plan to win the whole league eventually, and while that will take more years, more money and some luck as well, they are planning on that. Right now, this seasons goal is to be in UEFA competitions, conference league would be fine, but Europa would be great. Anything out of that and it's a loss for them.

Atalanta beating a team like that to be in conference league doesn't look possible at all, they sucked all season long, obviously Juric played a big roll in that, but we have to realize Como isn't losing more points than Atalanta rest of the season. Even if you consider them equal points right now, I would have said Como will get more points.

The only thing left for Atalanta to fight for in this current season is to finish at a position where they might have the opportunity to play in any of the European competitions next season, judging by how they are going this season it's quite obvious that might not secure a good position before the season runs out but if they are able to make some changes within the club as soon as possible then they might begin to experience some changes soon.

Getting a ticket to the European championship is still possible for them because currently they have only played 11 matches, if in the remaining matches this season they improve themselves there is a chance to rise but maybe they have to speed up because their current position in the standings is too far from the top 5 area, maybe they also need to take advantage of the transfer market in January, bringing in some other players who can help them achieve that target.

Yes it's possible for them to get a ticket for a European championship but it depends on how soon they get back to winning ways the time is still counting and they would require points to maintain their place and if they don't start getting good results then they may not stand a chance of securing a place because time is of necessity and I don't think they have that luxury.

How confident are you that Atalanta can reach the Conference League next season while they are in the 13th position the last hope is on COMO with a difference of 5 points, Serie A is difficult to predict many teams that give surprises at the end of the season COMO has started to rise and show consistency in every match if they can maintain the possibility of rising to 6th place in the standings.
Atalanta wants to improve the team by bringing in a new coach Palladino but I doubt Atalanta will rise with a new coach, Does he have a strong strategy and enough experience to improve a team that is currently slumping.

Five points is not an insurmountable gap; it is quite easy to make up, especially when there is still a long way to go in the championship.
Although Como is quite strong, I am not sure they will be able to withstand the pressure from the teams chasing them, so Atalanta could take advantage of this.

Como's performance at the beginning of this season has been extraordinary, raising the question of whether Como can maintain this consistency until the end of the season. At the very least, securing a ticket to the Europa League next season would already be an outstanding achievement. Even more so if they manage to get a Champions League spot among the big Italian clubs, which would be truly remarkable.
Regarding Atalanta, this team is currently going through a rough patch at the start of the season after their coach Gasperini left for AS Roma. Following a defeat against the newly promoted team Sassuolo, Atalanta has already fired their coach Juric.
In this transition phase, they have to face a strong Napoli team. With a new coach and still poor performance, it will be very difficult to beat the home team Napoli.

Yeah, their main target must be to qualify for European competition now. But I think the board is already satisfied with their placement in the standings now. 

How interesting it is to see them being the 2nd least conceding team in the league now, right? Fabregas is doing a wonderful job with defending.

Their only weakness is with their attacking. 12 goals in 11 matches isn't that impressive.

First half passed, and Juve leads the game with one nil. Their gameplay are so hard to watch. Too many missing pass, and only one goal attempt. They are not playing like they used to be rather than like a mid table team. All of players are underwhelming. It'z crazy to see the ball is rarely passing to the Yildiz and Vlahovic.  
However, the good thing is that they get 6 minutes additional time, and Kostic finally help them to lead the game. It seems they're gonna win this game with hard game.

I realize it's going to take a while for people to get adjust to it, but for this reason we are going to see Atalanta not be that great. Serie A already have it's top four if you ask me, unless those teams end up with some big losses, then Inter, Napoli, Roma, Milan looks like the teams that will finish at top four. So the gap to fifth place being 8 points clearly shows Atalanta is not even fighting for fifth place, maybe sixth, but even there is Juventus so it's hard.

I knew Atalanta was going to look like shit after letting Gasperini leave the club for AS Roma, when you look at Atalanta you will see a team that isn’t ready to play football and they seems to not be playing anything, I watched the game against Napoli and they were outplayed by Napoli who are ready to play a good football.

Now when you watch AS Roma you will understand that Gasperini is doing a very very good job with the team and that is quite a good football they are playing right now, well I must say that they really do miss Gasperini, after appointing Juric who have been sacked by the Atalanta Board, he wasn’t doing a very good job it’s been a shambles and horrible to watch.

Retegui's place isn't still filled well. Krstović isn't a good replacement for him I'm afraid. He was even benched yesterday. They'd make use of a solid scorer instead of a striker like this one.

This is the real Juventus what i know. A team with full of mediocrity. What they can do the whole game is just crossing to the box, and it seems it's their main plan. Their gameplay is very static, lack creativity, and terrible to watch. Their players are so damn lazy in chasing the ball, and always standing waiting for the ball upfront.

They will never able compete for the title if they keep play like that. I even prefer to watch international break game instead of them. Drawing against a relegation team is truly unacceptable.

Easy 3-1 win by Roma today just as I thought. Their odds were quite high though which was making a bettor a little nervous.    But thankfully they didn't have much trouble. Now the temporary leader is Roma.

But their joy at the top might not last long... I think Inter will win the derby tonight. It's definitely not an easy one of course. Because they couldn't beat Milan in their last 5 matches. Milan haven't lost in the Serie A for 10 weeks also.

I don’t know, i said in some previous posts that Inter is my favorite because they got back into rhythm and have been playing great lately. Milan is a quality team, but i don’t think they will take points in this derby. Napoli and Roma deservedly and convincingly won, and now the difference between them is 2 points. After the Inter-Milan match we will see the final standings, but based on how things look, i think Inter will return to first place.

This is the frustration fans go through when club directors and management keep players in the dressing room who do not want to have anything with the club anymore, why?! Gasperini left for As Roma already,yes?! So how is he being talked about when we mentioned Atalanta this season?!
Lookman Ademola is a player they need to offload from the dressing room. He is currently unhappy with the club and I expect more poor performance from him like what we saw yesterday against Napoli. The management are simply being greedy otherwise, this deal shouldn't been delayed this long.
