They're currently paying for their mistake, well it was actually Gasperini's decision to leave but they didn't make any effort in trying to persuade him to stay or take their time to find a suitable replacement, they'll suffer for a while before they begin to bounce back again bit that's if they get someone that can handle the team like Gasperini did before he left.

 As for Roma, they're currently enjoying the benefits of signing a good coach, it's amazing that a team that was struggling in the previous season has suddenly turned one of the top contenders this season, it would be very surprising if they end up winning it although the competition is getting tougher and it won't be easy based on the teams they competition with but I believe they'll finish in the top four this season.

They will definitely feel the consequence of letting Gasperini go. Losing a coach who understood the squad’s strengths and identity is always going to create a gap, and the lack of a proper transition only made things worse. Until they find someone with the same clarity and tactical discipline Gasperini brought, the rebuilding phase will be very rough and as for Roma, you are right they are perfect example of how much difference a good coach can make. If you look at the transformation from last season struggles it was impressive. Even if winning the league might still be a stretch given how strong the competition is, a top four finish looks very realistic with the consistency they are  showing and  if they can maintain this energy , Roma could easily re establish themselves as one of the strongest sides in Serie A this season.

I have to say this is a perfect year for AC Milan. I don't think their mentality is too weak, because under Inzaghi they very dominant in the derby. Milan broke a record after losing 5 consecutive derby in December 2024. After that, Milan maintained their form in the derby. Inter were just unlucky under their new coach. Perhaps if Chivu able to find a good formation for his team, I don't think Milan would have won the match. I know Milan are inconsistent too, but this match provides a good history for their fans.

Milan are just losing points in easier matches often recently. They have looked much better in derbies and other big face-to-faces so far.

If Allegri manages to increase the number of points from those matches too then they will even be a bigger title contender than now.

I'm surprised by how Milan performs exceptionally well against top teams and wins, but against weaker teams they should be able to beat, they lose focus and drop points. I'm confident Allegri can fix this, especially given his experience managing Milan. Milan's potential in this season's title race is immense, as they currently sit in second place, just two points behind Roma.

Well, the game of football is a game of surprises even though some cases use to be so questionable. AC  Milan's last game was a suprise to me as I wondered how it happened, but then I considered that fact that it was an away game of which Parma must have deployed all their tactics to preserve their home.

This season's standings is far from set because most of the teams on top are kings of inconsistencies. I would always say it that I still don't see another team lifting the title than Napoli. By weekend, AC Milan is probably going to drop points again and will gradually leave the second place. Roma has been impressive so far but I fear they may soon be hit by injuries beyond their expectations. They're already facing 4 injuries with Dybala also out. If it goes beyond what it is now, the team will be too shaky to stand the pressure.

I was also surprised when I saw the top scorer, which only had the top five goals. I thought Serie A was actually a strong defensive team or a blunt attacker.

At the end of this month I watched Milan vs Lazio. Statistically, Milan should have won. But I never knew that playing against bottom or middle teams was a losing culture, as you say. Lol

Seriously the result penalise Inter because their performance was a top notch, they really did not deserve to lose that game. Inter were super good with the ball but what matters is the number of goal you're able to put into the net, Milan managed to do that. The possession and other statistics shows that Inter were superior to Milan, they really committed a lot but they missed the most important part in football which is scoring a goal.

From observation, most derby matches and critical finals are not usually being won by the most performing team, this prove the importance of luck in football. Regardless, Inter needs reinforcement in January or anytime in the summer if not, they'll hardly maintain a spot in the top. Their defense and goalkeeper is awkward.

Yes, none of the title contenders has a form like winning at least their last 4-5 matches now. Inter were giving more hope to me about it but they lost in the Milano derby.    It must be like the 6th time in a row they aren't able to beat Milan.

Roma, Milan and Napoli all have experienced managers like Gasperini, Allegri and Conte. Only Inter have an inexperienced one like Chivu among them. I'm really wondering whether he can still manage to get ahead of them all to win the title at the end.

And of course Inter technically has the highest quality of squad among them.

Yup, too much club changed their coach this season, so most of them not find solid formations to be consistent in every matches. Lazio not good enough this season, even their goal productivity still below Como. Hopefully, Milan not making another mistake that make them shifted from 2^nd place.

Currently, the performance of each team in the top four is very competitive, making Serie A even more exciting this season. I see AS Roma performing well and managing to finish second. I hope they can finish in the top four and return to the Champions League. On the other hand, I agree that Modric can have a significant impact on AC Milan's performance.
