It is true that protest in football is not a permanent solution in itself but it can be one of many steps towards bringing about the right change. We all know that governments are held accountable through elections but in the case of football clubs, although the influence of fans is relatively indirect, we can definitely see its impact and it is unreasonable and wrong to deny it.
We haven't finished protesting for a good government let alone going to protest fo a footfall matters, this is a minor case for now and if the government doesn't want to do anything regarding improvement of our teams, then shame on them. If we have a government that's working all this things will definitely be taken care of.
Is not everything that should warrant a protest, especially about Nigerian football because they will never listen to the protesters, football is a professional game so the government will just claim that people do not understand how the club is being managed that's why they're feeling unsatisfied, although I know that some persons might be thinking that is a way to make the government change there mind but to me there is nothing that could be achieved from the protest, and besides I don't think I have heard any country in protest of there football system, so actually just like the normal problems we are having in this country, if a good government doesn't take over we are bound to be seeing all this corruption in football and other places.
