I swear to God if I was the president of Nigeria, I would have order every person in both NFF and NPFL to arrested and thrown into jail, if they are found guilty of their crime after thorough investigation. Seize all the property they use the money stolen from the NFF account. I might even give them life imprisonment. I think it's time for the President to appoint past players to take over that position,I think they understand what it meant to run an organisation. We missed 2 back world cup qualification, last time we won AFCON was in 2013 and our local league looks like an Amateur league. This is a poor job done by the NFF . Hopefully we get a competent person to restructure that organisation or association.
The president wouldn't do much since he himself isn't clean and the for of corruption is wide open owing to his style of government. There's no accountability in his government so everybody misbehaves freely, maybe they finally but more than they could chew, have the probe. Let's hope the caretaker committee or the incoming executive are able to right the wrongs of their predecessors. The NFF is in such bad shape now that it would take a while and a lot of efforts to fix the mess. Appointments is a game of interest in Nigeria and not about competence, they'll always appoint their own people to take that position. I can be pessimistic but I'm not expecting anything very positive from the president, maybe time would tell if I'm wrong or not

It is true that protest in football is not a permanent solution in itself but it can be one of many steps towards bringing about the right change. We all know that governments are held accountable through elections but in the case of football clubs, although the influence of fans is relatively indirect, we can definitely see its impact and it is unreasonable and wrong to deny it.
Is not everything that should warrant a protest, especially about Nigerian football because they will never listen to the protesters, football is a professional game so the government will just claim that people do not understand how the club is being managed that's why they're feeling unsatisfied, although I know that some persons might be thinking that is a way to make the government change there mind but to me there is nothing that could be achieved from the protest, and besides I don't think I have heard any country in protest of there football system, so actually just like the normal problems we are having in this country, if a good government doesn't take over we are bound to be seeing all this corruption in football and other places.

It seems to me that the problem is not just corruption in the Nigerian football administration but also inefficiency, lack of accountability and bad political influence. So it is almost impossible to get out of a situation where political influencers interfere in the matter. Now the question is whether the FIFA-appointed committee can work properly without any interference. If after this, no solution can be found and effective steps can be taken, then Nigerian football and talented players will be lost for a while.

Considering the facts that many uncomfortable thing is happening daily where fans and people who love game of football and sport is lossing interest I would not debunked or disagree with all stated facts, once a finger touches oil it affects the rest of care is not properly taken, the dwindling of the football right now is not far from the aftermath name as corruption the has refused to left the system keeps on degenerate on time without number, it's the responsibility of the head to put to stop but where the head stand the commander of such corruption it's impossible to do, this decayed will continue until, people with the right mindset and free from corruption handle the position.

Can you point out any of those things you listed that is not part of corruption? I will say it without mincing words that the problem of Nigeria football is corruption, mate these guys do not care and the people that appointed them Do not take their time to monitor what they are doing, so how will the problem be solved, my question is how did we get here, politics has affected the Nigeria football and sports entirely alot, when due process is not followed in a any system, the system becomes more corrupt, I just wish we get out this shits one day.

Do you think protest is going to work? If people protest do you think the government is going to listen? I feel even if people protest, the government isn’t going to listen, and they not going to fix anything. We have seen protest happen in other sectors, and we didn’t see much changes, so I feel nothing much is going to happen even if they protest. Also who are the people that are going to protest? We can see how worst the country is, and everyone is just looking, people die daily and everyone is looking like everything is fine, nobody is protesting, so I don’t even expect anyone to come out to protest about issue happening in the NFF. I don’t even know how things will be fixed in the NFF, or maybe we just going to continue like this, corruption have eaten dip into the system.

We haven't finished protesting for a good government let alone going to protest fo a footfall matters, this is a minor case for now and if the government doesn't want to do anything regarding improvement of our teams, then shame on them. If we have a government that's working all this things will definitely be taken care of.

The government are not listening to protests done because of important things they need to fix; they do use their military power and police to injure the protestors on something that is very important for the country. How can they listen to protests just because the NFF is corrupt? They can't listen to them; they don't have that time because even the citizens will have a divided mindset since sport is not what everyone loves. They will urge the government to pay attention to important aspects rather than paying attention to sport, and that's the truth. These players also need to play for passion; some of them have been playing for passion because they have the interest of the citizens at heart. If all the players can play like the likes of Osimhen and others that doesent play for the money since they already have teams they are playing for, we can still be performing better in sports regardless of how the government is treating them.

They really don't care after all nothing can be done to them, that's how confident they have grown in the corruption space. Both the appointed and appointee are all in bed with each other. In fact I can categorically say that these set of people are handpicked and appointed with the aim of them stealing and splitting it with those in higher authority, that's why you can never see an accountability from either those at the top or those below them. Our sports is entirely gone that why we keep on going from bad to worse.

First of all you have to understand the purpose and place of protest, a protest is to first register your displeasure over a situation that you consider unpleasant, now it does not necessarily mean that changes will be effected immediately. But by protesting and expressing your displeasure you will have sent a message to the authorities notifying them about how you feel about a certain occurrence or decision taken concerning a particular situation, This what makes me believe protesting is a healthy way of expressing how you feel but it has to be done in a decent manner and not a way that will disrupt the peace of other people.
