Finally Super Eagles is winning now with 1 goal to nil. From the way the team mates of Super Eagles performing on the field, they are doing well in the match but they lack scoring skills as I said. 1 goal is not a celebrating goal because if there is any slide mistake from the Super Eagles, the game will be draw and that will cut my slip again. I am also interested to protect my slip to go through. If they win with the 1 goal. It is okay, let me take home will the small amount first.

The match is currently 1-2 in favor of Nigeria. Adams scored the second goal for Nigeria with a brilliant finish on the 80th minutes but they couldn't relax themselves before Lesotho put themselves back into the game on the 83rd minutes by Kalake due to Nwabali carelessness. I hope Nigeria can defend this goal till the end of the match and be mindful because Lesotho is pressuring to equalize the last goal.

The match ends in 1:2, though the Super Eagles won but to me they should have done better because a team like Lesotho is supposed to be beaten with like 4:0, they shouldn't even have gotten one goal in this match but Nwabali was clearly the cause of the goal, i don't blame him because players do make mistakes. Just look at mediocre country like Lesotho is who Nigeria was struggling to win, it really shows how weak the squad has become. Anyways, since they won at last it's fine but the Nigeria National team really need to opt their performance in their next matches.

I don't know if Nwabali was playing for or against Nigeria. It was a very silly goal to concede. I wouldn't say I'm satisfied with the players performance, but they did their part to score two goals, and he almost cost them the three points. If I were Eric Chelle, I would relegate him to the bench. He does not deserve to be the first-choice goalkeeper.

The super eagles are all that good with goals despite the fact that they have more strikers and forward than any other players that would make up that team . If there is any more crucial time that the super eagles would need to be scoring then it's most certainly now because they are currently lacking in goal margin between the qualification teams and goals will most certainly help them alot.

My brother this result felt like losing to be frank with you. I can't remember the last time I watched Nigeria match and feel happy at the end of the day, it's always ending with a bitter feelings. What pain me the most was that Lesotho goal was an avoidable one but I didn't know what happened with Nwabali and his defenders that made them put us in a difficult position as this. I can't remember the last time Nigeria won a football match with a score margin of 3 goals without conceding. Now we have to win the group leader with 3:0 in our next match to stand a chance of qualifying for the world cup. To tell you the truth, I don't see that happening.

We're never going to the World cup, we stumbled all our chances in our early fixtures especially the fixtures against Zimbabwe and Lesotho, moment we should be getting important points the NFF were busy playing politics with the national team, changing coaches up and down and destabilizing the team.

I thought we've gone pass that stage of complaining of changing of coaches here and there. At least, there's a level of hope based on this current result that we might qualify even though it's not the kind of hope we should be looking at but regardless, it's what it's and getting a win today is definitely a good result to start with.

Now the race for qualification is now tight every almost the three teams comprising of Nigeria, south Africa and Benin having chance of qualifying depending on who takes his chance. The only thing we need now is to continue winning all our remaining games and even if we have to wish that Benin and south Africa will lose or draw games so we get more advantage over them, someone has to eventually pave way for others to thrive through to the world cup.

Immediately I watched Nwabali make that mistake I quickly remembered Onana of Manchester United I wasn't expecting him to make that kind of mistake by not stopping that ball but it's funny he conceded the goal but thank God the Super eagles was already leading by 2 goals before the goal of not the whole struggle would have been in vain. Nwabali remains the 1st choice goal keeper that we have Eric Chelle will not bench him but after the game he will take time to caution him because at this point Nigerians will not forgive any player that will make any mistakes that will stop them from going to the world up if they finally get what they are looking for.

There was broad changes in the second half after the first half deadlock Nigeria came into the second half scoring 2 goals in a row and Lesotho reacted with 1 goal from a goalkeeping error which wasn't supposed to happen in such a critical game. I think one area of weakness from the Super Eagles is in the poor communication in the yard box by the defenders,., Eric has to address that going to the next game.

It’s a win for the Super Eagles of Nigeria but I don’t think this win is a commendable win considering the caliber of players in the Super Eagles squad. You can’t completely hope in them to give you an amazing performance no matter how weak their opponents are, and this has made to keep thinking of where the problem is that made the Super Eagles as weak as we never expected because they have good players that should have been helpful in winning trophies and even qualifying ahead of all these small countries.

Winning this match has not been of any help for the Super Eagles because they depend on other teams to defeat South Africa and Benin, and they didn’t succeed, therefore, even if the Super Eagles win their last match, they don’t have any hope to qualify to the World Cup.

A good result for them Benin manage to win while Siuth Africa were held draw; if Benin win their last match, they will qualify ahead of South Africa.

Mistakes can happen to any player in the football match, and it doesn't mean the goalkeeper is against his own team because it was a mistake, we all saw what happened in their last match or last two match that made one of their defender to cause a goal but people know it is a mistake for the defender because people know that player will not purposely do such thing to his team to lose not to qualify for world cup competition, congratulations to Nigeria super Eagle for the victory to achieved three points from Lesotho home, what Eric Chelle is after is to make sure Nigerian super Eagle qualify for this world cup competition because it will give him more chance to stay long in Nigeria to continue coaching super Eagle.

Each time I see an impressive score line in this qualifiers I just see myself smiling, have to applaud Tunisia for that score line, is very hard to see such amount of goals if you check as of 6 years back is hard to see 5 to 6 goals plus in an African qualifiers for the world cup and even in the qualifiers for the AFCON.
Well, the Super Eagles did a nice job today but we have to face the fact in this game that they couldn't keep a clean sheet, like why would Lesotho get a goal? If we mistakenly get to the World Cup I feel this games we have been playing should be a lesson to build a very strong defensive wall because it has become a normal thing that every team even if is the smallest team they'd score the Super Eagles, but that aside...how are we going to see the Eagles perform against Benin? The Lesotho game seem to be an easy one but the last one comes with a bigger challenge because Benin will not be an easy opponent, this is where the calculation starts so let's wait and see who's going home, not qualifying and who's going to play the play off, can Nigeria book a spot for the play off? Because that's the only space that we can get at this moment, so can we?

Disregard any information you see on social media which says that Nigerian has qualified for the World Cup because it is false information. Nigeria hasn't qualified for the World Cup. Nigeria's main issue right now is how they will make it to the World Cup because if they don't qualify for the World Cup, we can't talk about how far they will go in the World Cup tournament. Nigeria didn't play in the last World Cup because they didn't qualify.

From what am seeing that will play out in this Nigerian group on the last day is that, Nigeria may just end up helping south Africa to qualify for the world cup because looking at the table even if Nigeria beats Benin Republic on the last day Nigeria will only have 17 points. and south Africa is already having having 15 points and I don't see South Africa losing or drawing their last match. Benin Republic will be coming against Nigeria in the last game hoping to qualify to the world cup so it will be difficult for the super eagles in the last day of qualifying.

Must be exhausting. I'm going through worse from Club and Country.  ( Manchester United and Nigeria). I'm no longer passionate like I was for the both of them at most, Nigeria Football Federation. I still support and wish them all the best nevertheless. Algeria is a worthy African country to back during the upcoming fifa world cup competition. They've just earned their place already after that win. Congratulations to them.

It's indeed a time of sober reflection for Nigerians because we can't be struggling to qualify when nations that are at our level have already booked a place in the World Cup. North African teams are known to be good representatives of Africa in international competitions.  Congratulations to the Desert Warriors on their qualification. I hope that Nigeria will be able to come out of this mess victoriously. I also wish the Red Devils luck as they push to recover their lost form.

Well if my opinion matters I think it best we focus on the positive part like for example their recent game they played so far which they did win over Lesotho just as it was be stated Niger grew in confidence after the opener, controlling the game and pressing for a second goal all this should be a thing of joy to us, every team has it only up and down most times currently, they need to win their remaining matches and let hope South Africa doesn’t accumulate enough points at that time.

The first half ends in a draw for the Super Eagles, and what I can see in this game is that the strategy of our coach and the Super Eagles is for the long balls to continue being played into the Lesotho penalty box with the expectation that either Osimhen or Tolu can get a header on to the ball. That strategy has not worked in this first half, and perhaps the coach may need to adjust some things because if they go into the second half with the same pattern, this game will not end desirably for the Super Eagles.

Isn't this jersey so cute, I still remember back in 2018 when Russia hosted the FIFA world cup, that was when they unveiled this pattern of jersey for Nigeria and if I'm not mistaken, it was the finest back then, as for now I don't know if it still is but frankly, this jersey is very cute. Nigeria still got a shot at the world cup but will need Rwanda to do them a favour by winning South Africa even if it's 1 - 0 and they themselves have to beat Benin Republic at least 3 - 0, Nigeria and permutations, lol. I know some persons wouldn't understand why I said, Nigeria and permutations when it comes to qualifiers.

It's unfortunate how the Super Eagles of Nigeria has turned the entire country into mathematicians where we have to do much calculations after each game to know if we have any hopes still in the qualification race to the 2026 World Cup.  Nigeria has to win Benin in the next game and it's only if South Africa lose or draw against Rwanda then we might ticket to the WC.

Even if Zimbabwe are the worst team in the Super Eagles' group, I like the fact that they said they won't be the reason why Nigeria will not qualify because they are ready to fight South Africa with their last drop just to make South Africa drop points today so that they can create a pathway for Nigeria to qualify for the World Cup. Zimbabwe and South Africa have played the first 45 minutes, and Zimbabwe is still keeping to their word.

They must have loved the super eagles a lot to say this, how do they even come up with such statement. Although this is beginning to look like they mean what they said because this is the second half now and the South Africans hasn't started wining them, so if they could do it for the eagles by going home draw that will be the best news Osimehn will get because they will start seeing favour that seem lost for them. Super eagles didn't score on there first half but they have scored on this second half, they're missing a lot of chances, they should quickly get another goal to avoid any scoring from the Lesotho, Moses Simon has saved the super eagles for creating the penalty if not there would have been no goal now.

All I can say is that good game from the boys. I didn't expect them to win and they won that is how my relationship with them is. The day that I will be expecting them to win, they will likely end up losing. For now I'll keep it at this
