Now that South Africa has been eliminated, the coach can now go back to South Africa and enjoy himself there because few days ago, I came across his press conference when he something like Morocco was boring that the organisation was poor. I'm not in the country presently watching the games to determine if it true of the boringness of the tournament but I can now say, his team has been relieved and they can now go back home to enjoy themselves.

I think that you misunderstood the statement of the south Africans team manager, what he was complaining about is not the tournament, but the atmosphere, and lack of excitement from the Moroccans that they are the host nation, and the stadium are mostly empty, which is true if you look at what he was saying.

This season is one of the poorest organized Afcon, even the Nigeria team also complained about the unavailability of supporter's club's to accompany them to the host country, as entertainment as it has always been, so imagine how low exciting this season will be for other teams like South Africa, so we can't blame the coach statement on the lack entertainment and excitement that can kill the players and coaching team moral.

Afcon always has poor attendance, hence South African coach Hugo Broos should not take that as an excuse. Africans have an interest in football, but the harsh economic conditions are discouraging. People are busy seeking means to make money instead of taking the time out to watch games. The South African coach is complaining because they have been knocked out. They should now focus on the World Cup.

You can't just conclude the super eagles verse Mozambique match tonight to be an easy win for super eagles, do not forget that you yourself have said that the Mozambique national team are chargered with extra moral to play against the super eagles tonight, I read in the news that the president of Mozambique have pledged $8k+ for each of the boys of their national team if they will cook the super eagles, this amount of money is enough to charge the boys to play with extra strength.

If I have the opportunity, I will advice the super eagle to not under-estimate the Mozambique national team, they must prepare well for this match because if they are not careful, one mistake can have them packing their bags to come back to Nigeria😁

It is not just Morocco; even if the competition was held in another country in Africa, if the stadium access is not free, I am not sure you will have a lot of persons willing to come watch it in the stadium. It is an economical problem; people here don't have the luxury of time for recreational activities. The focus is mostly on how to make money because things are tough. Most people in the stadium to see the games are either supporters of one of the two countries playing or, rarely, just spectators who are just there to enjoy the games.

The South African coach should take the loss and go prepare for the World Cup, where we expect more and better.

You are right to an extent that the terrible economic situation in Africa makes it difficult for people to come out and watch games, since they we are more focus on working our ass out on how to earn our daily bread, but to be honest, the last afcon in ivory coast doesn't have as much scanty stadium like this one in Morocco.

Am just waiting for them to to meet a high scoring team like Algeria, Nigeria, Senegal. To me Mali are just lucky so far in this tournament. I have checked the teams they have played so far they are not really that strong teams. But am sure if they escape the quarter finals with thier draw mentality they won't escape the semi finals without meeting a proper team that will wake them up from this their dream of winning the AFCON without winning a single match. Besides Mali is not even in my list of top 5 countries that am rating to win the AFCON tournament. If no other country will win them, Morocco, Nigeria, Senegal and Algeria won't disappoint in knowing them out.

Did you notice that anytime the President of an opposing country in international football makes a promise to the players that they can win Nigeria, they always win the Super Eagles. It happened againstthe  Ivory Coast against Nigeria in the AFCON final. Also happened against Congo during the playoffs for the World Cup. I pray the same fate doesnt get to the Super Eagles tomorrow. I want them to win and win successfully.

One thing about being too lucky is that it could make one feel very confident to an extent that they'll think they can never stop being lucky and begin to feel too proud. This is just the beginning for the Malians and soon they'll, infact their head coach would learn that football ain't won by paper talks.

 Yeah they can't be lucky forever and when they meet a more stronger team, they'll need more effort and less luck to go into the next tougher challenge, team Senegal, Morocco or Algeria would be very tough for Mali if they survive the quarter finals.

A thousand congratulations to the Algerian national team.. such a hard luck to the Equatorial Guinea. A great match befitting the two giants of the continent. Despite the early injuries that disrupted the coach's plans, he handled the situation well. Algeria was the more dangerous side, and the scoreline could have been much worse had it not been for their lack of focus.

This was a good test for the defense against a hard team, but still the attack needs to train better since they missed many golden opportunities, even against Burkina Faso who played too aggressively. They'll be playing against DR congo tomorrow, I hope they can maintain that level of performance.

When I started watching the games of this tournament, I immediately noticed how the stadiums weren't very full of people. I found it very strange and wondered why the government agreed to organize this tournament when they knew their people had no interest in watching these games. I wonder how much financial return the government will get if the stadiums aren't full, and when there are many people, it's thanks to free entry. In other African countries, when they organized this tournament, you could see how the people went to watch the games, and during the games you could hear the sounds of people in the stands.

No, they should not draw the game. If they draw, they will have to play extra time, which could lead to a penalty shootout. Maybe you forgot this is the knockout stage, one team has to be eliminated today.

I wont tolerate a draw because we have a team that can win this game in less than 60 minutes. We should be scoring up to 3 or 4 goals in the game.

In the last AFCON, the super eagles also played very well, but they did not win it. Playing well is a requirement to win the competition, but that is not all. Some teams play very well but still end up loosing the chance to win the competition because in games that mattered most, they could not win.

There are no easy matches, the Super Eagles should not have that mindset, they should come out and play to win, taking the game as seriously as they would if their opponent is a team stronger than they are or equally matched.

I understand that you are trying suggeste a safer means here, i think the draw of a thing is not a nice idea, what the Nigerian super eagles need in this match is a draw, as for the threat that's shit unless the supwr eagles of Nigeria don't know what to do, they ought to have prepared very well fro this match in other to win this match, with what I have seen so far, the super eagles of Nigeria is not supposed to be stressed out in this match, they should go for 2 more early goals, this will help them weaken their opponent and maybe they could score because their opponents will want to come out to get a goal.

We never can really tell, football games can sometimes be so so unpredictable, just as I believe many of us were not able to predict that the Mali v Tunisia match will end in both team having to go through penalties to see who leaves the pitch after having played 120 minutes with 1 : 1 as score from both sides.

I may have watched Egypt play a couple of times but you know, each match have its own uniqueness and this may be because the team is playing a different team and not the team they played with the other time, this is why a team like Egypt (using them as an example) can win against this team and lose against another, so its hard predicting what will be the outcome of the Egypt v Benin game coming up by 17:00 pm, only the final whistle blown knows what the outcome will be but unfortunately, whistles don't talk, so we can't ask it 😁
