This game isn't an easy game for our super eagles no doubt, but it's a game we all should be expecting them to win because they are not on the same level with this Mozambique team.

Am not underrating this Mozambique team, but if you want to compare them with our super eagles, I think that you will agree with me that this is a game our super eagles should be winning without much struggles if they want to win this year afcon.

If it's the likes of Morocco, ivory Coast, Egypt, Senegal or even Algeria that our super eagles were playing, I would have said that it's a 50/50 game, not this Mozambique team we should be winning easily if we are at our very best, so anything short of victory is a big disaster.

Whatever Zambia was doing at this tournament, they were outplayed in all three matches, lucky to draw against Mali and Comoros, they were lucky to escape this match with 3 goals. They hardly made 3 shots in total in the entire game, even if they did, none would be on target. North African teams have been fire in this tournament.

Truly, it has been a game of speed and skill, but i do not think Regragui has been getting the best out of the players. With the return of Hakimi, who is one of the best player on the continent and Igamane on his way back to fitness, this Morocco team will take some stopping. I am still concerned about the midfield as I do not rate Ambrabat, but El Aynaoui looks like a very good player in my opinion.
I will like to know why they allowed that offside Bicycle kick goal by El Khaabi and disallowed Osimhen goal against Tanzania? There must be fair officiating.

It's actually sad that Nigeria won't be at the world cup, they look so deadly. They should have qualified only if Chelle had been there from the start. It was all the changes of so many coaches that messed up the momentum.

I knew the match between South Africa and Cameroon was going to be a difficult game because they both have what it takes to qualify and luckily Cameroon managed to survive. Seriously this match is not going to be an easy win match for Nigeria, but the Nigeria supper eagles have higher chances pf winning, although we may have multiple goals which means the opposition team will likely score some goals or goal which if not calculated could be a bad omen for Nigeria team if the Mozambique side make the first goal score in this game, I bet draw any ways since first half draw is certainly a good short at it.

The national teams that impressed me the most, and that in my opinion could win the cup, are Morocco, Algeria, Ivory Coast and Nigeria.
Gabon had the game wrapped up, but the players, overconfidently, started to lose possession-- making unnecessary passes until fatigue begins to sets in! That's the result when a careless team faces an experienced opponent. Gabon was frightening but that comeback was just unbelievable.

In my opinion, Ivory Coast plays one of the most entertaining soccer out of all the West African countries. Emerse Fae should get a raise, he's coaching too well for his age.

The Nigerian squad is no match for Mozambique, although I know that surprises should be expected, but I believe the Nigerian team in terms of quality and individual abilities more than the Mozambique boys. At this phase of the tournament, the only thing that should be in the mind of our coach should be a win or win game, anything less than that should never be accepted at all. being favorite in a tournament does not by itself bring about the required result, if you are the favorite, you have to show working by scoring a lot of goals so your next opponent becomes afraid of you when you eventually proceed into the next round.

in all the games we have played so far in this tournament, it is sweet to say that we have never recorded a single loss and if we can keep up that attitude by scoring more goals even in this game, this will be one of the AFCON we can likely get to the finals and eventually win it without losing or drawing a single game. what a record that will be.

Yeah, I agree with you. Let the result of the game potray just how easy it was for Nigeria. I would hate that we'll go into that game underestimating Mozambique and then, end up having a draw or even worse, a loss. Nigeria seems better off than Mozambique and would likely win the game as we're in a much better form and shape to win. But I would like us to go Into that game with the enough pressure while vigorously attacking and also defending against goals.
Underestimating your opponent only gives them more power as you wouldn't expect nor see what they've got up their sleeves and by the time you try to step up, it would probably be too late.
