Osimhen's attitude is getting out of hand, regardless of what your teammates might have done to you on the pitch, you should wait till after the match to complain whatever you have in mind, I heard rumors that he has asked to leave the camp in the middle of a competition. Osimhen's should conduct himself in a manner that shows that he is a professional, he had almost the same similar fall out with Finidi George, the federation looked the other way, allowing it slide.

The issues has been resolved, according to the team administrator 'Dayo Enebi' the boys are in order now, however, Osihmen's behavior should be cautioned on a strict warning of being penalize if a thing like this happens again. Due to my busy schedule, I was unable to watch the Nigeria versus Mozambique match but the outcome was impressive. Although Mozambique is not considered a footballing nation so Nigeria was supposed to beat them with more than five goals in order to give the reassurance that they are fit to lift this year's AFCON.

As for Victor osimhen's behavior, I did not watch the match and I eventually started hearing about his hash behavior towards his teammates. Even though it was so obvious that his team mates refused to pass in ball at some point, it doesn't mean that he should flame up in such a manner. I didn't watch the match but I heard that VeryDarkMan discuss it. According to him, the players aren't Osimhen's kids.

I watched the highlights of the Nigeria vs Mozambique game. I was so impressed and happy how the super eagles of Nigeria calmed the game and won Mozambique easily. The game was the super eagles' best game in the Afcon tournament because they did not concede a goal in the game. The super eagles' current performance in the Afcon tournament is enough for the super eagles fans to believe that the super eagles of Nigeria can lift this year's Afcon, and they do not need to beat Mozambique with more than 5 goals to show that they can lift this year's Afcon.

Yes it was a good game for the Nigerian super Eagles, because they played an inferior team, and that was a game they should’ve won 10 nil, I haven’t seen a good performance from the Nigerian Super Eagles yet, they’re playing good football like you’ve said, but i will continue to think that it’s because of the type of teams they have been playing like Mozambique, Tanzania, and Uganda, Nigeria didn’t even have a good performance against Tunisia, they’re playing only reason why Nigeria was playing well against Tunisia was because of the Red Card that Tunisia got in the game and that opened the game for them to win, and still they were very horrible and lackadaisical to have conceded two goals and they almost played a draw against Tunisia so I’m not impressed with their performance.

However they are playing against a strong Algeria team and I will be watching to see what they’ve to do in that game, and let me see what performance they will have to come up with in that game, if they can beat Algeria comfortably then I will start thinking they can do something unexpected from me, because Algeria is a very strong team and not like the other teams that Nigeria have played, now the Nations Cup will officially start for them during this game against Algeria, and I believe Algeria also have a 100% winning record in this tournament.

How much is there bonus in the first place? Is there any of them that doesn't earn more than that a month in Thier club. Of cause, our sports body has to know that treating the super eagles well is another way of encouraging them but then, if they fail to win the AFCON, it's a greater slap to them than the nation because this country na jagajaga country on it own.

According to reports, the NSC has settled the unpaid bonuses of the Super Eagles and the players are on route to Marrakech. It’s sad that nothing has changed since the World Cup Qualifiers, the NFF are just as incompetent as they were before.

I'm surprised you are asking why someone is holding on the money as if there is another reason other than holding on to it for their own personal use. It's sad that every system in the country seems to be corrupt. Whenever I look at how some other African countries have improved in the sport in all aspects I am disappointed because most of these countries used to be far behind us but the entire NFF has been weighing us down. Players needs their allowances because this is how they feed the family so you don't expect them to play for free.

They need every motivation to face Algeria if they want to come out with victory. I am glad to hear according to news that NSC has now settled with the players over the unpaid bonuses by the NFF. It's sad that the players still have to experience this in every competition they play.

There are so many great teams in this competition who have shown great prospects and the Super Eagles of Nigeria happen to be one of those teams, based on their recent performance I can't help but say they are now amongst the favourites to win this tournament and any team that would face them from the next rounds would be having so much issues playing against them due to their form and high level of performance and the attacking ability of the team.

It is obvious now that the Super Eagles is a force to reckon with. At the earlier stages of the tournament, I was having doubt that their inability to qualify for the world cup was going to dampen their spirit in this AFCON but the passion and energy they have displayed shows they have let the past be in the past and just want to enjoy this tournament. They have not failed to show their commitment in the field of play and at the pace they are going, I'm strongly pitching my tent behind them for the trophy, although the host Morocco, Algeria and Egypt are my biggest fears.

Today will show us the strength of Ivory Coast the defending champions and Algeria, one of the dreaded contender. Both teams I expect to win their respective opponents today to secure their place in the next round.

Indeed the Super Eagles have been a force to reckon with as far as this AFCON is concerned, despite Morocco's beautiful performance in this tournament and the home advantage they enjoy I don't see any team that is anywhere close to the Eagles in terms of ratings and performance, not even Senegal nor the Ivorians. I believe the Eagles are going to go all the way to the finals, am very confident that they would win it because there is unity of purpose within the squad and it is driving them towards doing the unthinkable anytime they get on the pitch.

What do you expect from a country that practice corruption as a religion, this is not the first time such is happening its a constant occurrence but the reasons for such action is what i can't tell. In 14 December 2016 the super falcons of Nigeria stages protest in abuja all because of unpaid allowance after lifting a trophy, if they could do such a thing to the super falcons why can't they do it to the super eagles when eating from where they do not plant have been there culture. Honestly speaking i think its the right time Nigeria needs to wake up and face reality, how will they disgracing themselves every year not that the money is not there but just that one or two person wants to steal it

It was quite unbelievable for me because I was thinking the match could end in a draw then the both teams are going to play penalty for us to know the winner. The NFF is always guilty of this bonus delay and it made me think if this is how they also treat their own allowances as well because they should have long begun processing the players own country match bonuses before that of CAF arrives so that the players would knwo they are serious about their welfare but this approach of delaying their match bonuses isnt welcoming because it just shows that they the NFF do not care about the palyers and all they care is their own interests and do not think of the national interests as well. We just have a bunch of greedy fellows at the NFF who are just self-centered and callous about the players' welfare.

This issue has been addressed and super eagles are set to play against Algeria. However such issues isn't supposed to have come up in the first place because it shows that Nigeria didn't care about the welfare of those that are out there to represent the country globally.
The reason has already been stated by you , so other reason if not corruption. Until NFF do something about this this kind of thing will always play out in the future.

I.must confess the the Super Eagles have been very impressive in sll their matches in the AFCON so far and I am beginning to have some confidence in them right now. I will really impressed the was they played against Mozambique in their last match, they were very entertaining and they scored a lot of goals. I am really expecting Nigeria to go all the way to the final and expecting them to win the competition. That should make fans happy, since they will not be going to the world cup.

Guy don't be over happy on this stage. This is not the first time we have watched Super Eagles games. They are good in breaking hearts. Well everyone has their way of understanding football. I noticed that from this AFCON 2025/26. There is different between this team was impressive or the team won. A team could win a Match with struggling because they were lucky. A team that is good can still lose a Match because they were not lucky. Nigeria first three matches were not impressive toe but the fifth game with Mozambique was impressive but another thing to look at was. Mozambique team was not a strong team. So we will see the real Impressive games from Saturday.

Actually, it's not because of the payment. Alot of things went wrong in that match that even if they had did some trainings, I'm sure it will ended bitterly. Did you see the actions of Osimhen that day and how coach substituted him, you noticed Nwabali mistakes, all this error made us lose that match. However, ever since this Afcon began, don't you see the differences, they want to clean up the mess they made in the world cup, it's not going to make sense if we lose Afcon too.

Regards NFF payment, it's a shame that our players are not paid until they complain about their money. Look at other African footballers, how many of them has come publicly to discuss the poor finance of their national team? It's possible they are owed some money but it's not that bad like the way our national team has become that bad. We don't care about players but we want them bring home the trophy. This payment has been a generational problem and it need to stop.

No, it wouldn't be nice for the Super Eagles to boycott their training session just because of unpaid bonuses. You need to understand that apart from the fact that they will make the country proud if they win the AFCON, it also adds to their football career records as a player so they shouldn't make a worse situation become worsen just because of NFF's unconcerned behavior. I think the money has been processed to be paid and by now I believe it must have been paid because as at yesterday we heard news that the process for payment has commence.  I believe before now the super Eagles team have made written statement to the NFF for those bonuses to be paid but those requests has been ignored, so the only thing the NFF recognize is physical protest, and that is what the super Eagles have resorted to, but my fear is that this kind of scenario should not be the New normal, because if it continuous like this then any little thing that happens between the NFF and the super Eagles, the super Eagles will just resort to boycotting training sessions and it will be a continuous new normal.
