Nigeria has been wasting beautiful opportunities to get ahead in this game, they've missed at least 3 good chances with the worst being Akor Adams one on one with the keeper. Eric Chelle has done a wonderful job with the way the guys are playing, it's up to the players to make something good out of this match. They are dominating which is good, but goals are needed to win the match.

I am wowed by the performance of the Super Eagles in this first half, i never expected the kind of energy they showed in the first half but what they are lacking now is accuracy in their shots. They should target well and fire shots that will threaten the Algerian goalie. Lookman is a good force, and we know how dangerous he can be when he is with the ball so am impressed with his performance. Nevertheless, don't say that due to the presence of Lookman that the team can survive without Victor Osimhen, everyone has their role in a team of which while Lookman is performing his own role, Victor Osimhen is also doing his own so we should forget about the altercation in last game and support all the players because if they win the Nations Cup, it's a win for us all so let's be positive. Nigeria was the better side in the game. The ball possession, shot on target and other statistics shows that the Super Eagles were superb. The Algerian side is staying back and waiting for mistakes from the Nigeria defence and counter attacks. But the Nigerian defence has been solid and undoing their plots. My problem now is the attack are not converting the chances they have created. It would be painful for the Super Eagles to lose this game because they are the better side.

The first half of the match has ended, and we are about to enter the second half of the match. The two teams didn’t play so bad in the match, just that we haven’t been able to see any goal in the match.

I think there was a mistake from your own side. Nigeria is playing Algeria and not Angola. Meanwhile, I missed the time of the match. I thought it was by 5pm, which actually is the time. But I didn't think 5pm was close, so I slept off. I am just waking now to realise that the match has gone 43 mins already.

So, I am going to watch just the second half now and I will be optimistic if the Nigerian super Eagles will be able to win this one. I am actually seeing the super eagles as the favourites to win this year's AFCON. It will only happen if they are able to survive today's meeting with the Algerians

Nigeria is actually impressing me in today's match, they have been completely dominant against the Algerian side in the first half. I haven't seen the Eagles being this dominant in a very long time against a big team. They have missed several scoring chances. If they continue like that in the second half they are going to win the match. Algeria are just not showing that threat like we have seen them donin their previous matches. They are sitting back and waiting for counters but the Super Eagles are matching them.  So far they Algerian side haven't had much chances against our defence. Akor missed one on one, our other goal scoring opportunity got cleared off in the goal line by the Algerian defender.

Nigeria is playing very well they have more possession in the match but they really missing a lot of chances and is very bad if they should win this match they need to start converting all this their chance to goal, the missed chance that got me annoyed was that of Adam’s that ball was something he should have scored and not missing it, it looks like Nigeria is really having a very big bad lock today I just pray the second half will favor them because they are doing very well and they just need to score.

I guess you meant "Algeria" and not Angola in what you stated above. However, it is no doubt that the Super Eagles did actually dominated the first half that just ended few minutes ago, as they played excellently well, had the most ball possessions and tried targeting the goal post, despite the fact that their shots weren't enough to convert it into goals. Because to be frankly speaking, the Super Eagles did miss 3 straight good goal opportunities against Algeria that would have been a clear goal, but missed. And as such, as they begin second half shortly, I will be glad to see Victor Osinhem, Ademola Lockman and Akor Adams play a good attacking games that convert into goals.

I'm impressed by Nigeria performance so far. I just hope they continue or do much more than this and score goals in the second half. Algeria performance isn't as strong as I thought, but Nigeria needs to act fast to score because I'm scared if this match ends in a penalty shootout, honestly I don't trust Stanley Nwabali in penalty kicks.

With the way Algeria is defending and absorbing the pressure from the Nigerian super Eagles, if Algeria have the slightest opportunity to score a goal they will put the ball inside the back of the net and will defend it till the end of the 90 minutes. I think the first half has been a very dominant one for the super Eagles and they need to capitalize on that to get a goal so that they can play with more confidence and ease. It won’t make sense to dominate the entire game and end up not winning the match.

Even though the Super Eagles didn't score all the chances they had in the first half, they should have at least scored one goal in the first half so that Algeria wouldn't play a low block game in the second half and make it difficult for the Super Eagles to score goals. This is an impressive news to be read. I am switching to watching the match right away, I never knew that the second half has started. I am not at the comfort of my home so I am going to watch it this man through the mobile phone. I think the match should be around the 58 minutes, so I still have a lot of matches to watch.
Nigeria should please not reduce the tempo, if they want to be safe, it is better to even score another goal than to rely on only one goal. I trust Victor and I trust lookman as well as other strikers. They are actually out to make us proud.

Cameroon showed no presence against Morocco. Morocco was the better side throughout the match. The only thing I remember about Cameroon was the incident where Mbeumo was on the ground; I don't think that was a penalty. Mbeumo tripped over his opponent's leg to try and win a penalty. I didn't watch Morocco in the group stage, but I saw that they were quite effective against Cameroon.

Morocco could win the Africa Cup of Nations for the second time in their history. That's the impression I got.

Yesterday, match was between Cameroon  football team and Morocco football team and that was one sided game because we saw 2 goals which was by only 1 team . The shots of Morocco football team were more in this match which were 6 and 2 shots were on target and possession percentage of that team was not  excellent in this match which was only 41 and opponent team possession was good and that was 59 percent in this match and their shots were 3 in this match and 0 shot was on target because team has no experience to play. Díaz was a person who did first goal of the match and he did first goal of the match and gave excellent effort in this match and did goal at 26 minutes of the match.

Despite what the Super Eagles played in the first half by missing all the opportunities and not scoring a single goal, for me, I can very much say I'm super satisfied with the Super Eagles return in the second half of the game, because it wasn't even up to 3 minutes enter the second half that Victor Osinhem scored the first goal of the game at exactly 47 minutes, which was a very happy moments, and 10 minutes after Akor Adams scored the second goal of the game at exactly 57 minutes. Hence, making it 2 goals to nil against Algeria right now at 88 minutes into the game, despite the Super Eagles having 1 yellow card and Algeria having straight 5 yellow cards. So I'm happy for the Super Eagles to playing excellently today, because we have won this game.

Let them get dangerous to Algeria team, two days a go Algeria was bragging on how they will defeat Nigeria team, but I'm surprised that super eagles is dominating them by defeating them, I even though that they will equalize for the first goal super eagles scored, not knowing that super eagles will give them another goal, the match has not ended yet but I'm happy for the performance of super eagles in this tournament especially the Algeria match is perfect match so far since the super eagles matches in this tournament

Initial at first i thought it was going to be tough of game for the Super Eagles due to how good the Algerian team has preform but it was am easy win for the Super Eagles to forward to the semi final of the AFCON. Nigeria dominated the game won 2-0 while the Algeria team has no shot on goal i this is a great performance from the Super Eagles and this is the kind of result we want to see i hope our semi final will be as easy as the quarter final Algeria was overrated but am happy we humbled them.

It's not without saying that Nigeria are in much control of the game and detecting the momentum of the game so far but am not still impressed by how the boys are missing the crucial chances we are having on goal. One of many was that of Akor who gave a wayward shot to that one on one opportunity with the Algeria goalkeeper, a ball he would have given it a carpet kick he instead chipped it over the goalpost in that close range with the goalie. This isn't a game that should go into extra halves for Nigeria.

Nigeria is not only in control, they are wining infact they have won, to be sincere, for a very long time, I have not been happy when the super eagles play, but Nigeria super eagles has shown a lot of seriousness in this competition, it means this guys were very much prepared for this competition, from day one of this competition till this time, I do not think that Nigeria super eagles has draw any match, what a great display by the Nigerian side, although they missed they missed some chances but at this time what they needed is to win and they have achieved it, congratulations to the super eagles of Nigeria, the continued consistency of the eagles a sign that they are ready to win the trophy this time.
