That’s the thing about this team, it’s the same players from the World Cup qualifiers that we’ve got here and yet, this team is playing exceptionally well. That’s because, they’ve decided to play as a team and not to be too focused on social media hype of the team.

The Super Eagles would be playing Morocco and though everyone is being very skeptic about this fixture, I see the Super Eagles playing at a very high level and would end that game in regular time. They would be cautious and take opportunities just as they create them. The game would turn out well for Nigeria.

The quality of football displayed by the super eagles under Eric Chelle is worth any hype. All their games have been very entertaining and has been tagged the team with the best attack ahead of Morocco. Their semi final clash between these two supposed best teams is the real final game of the tournament because there will be high talent show and display of relentless winning strategies.

The super eagles have scored a total of 14 goals, the highest in the tournament. The three forwards, Lookman, Osimhen and Akor have been very magnificent and have all found the back of the net. It is not going to be fair for such squad to miss the final game, so they have to eliminate Morocco at all cost. Morocco has a fast attacking strategy and they have utilised it against weaker teams but I don't think it will work on the super eagles.

Egypt mysterious progression still continues as they eliminated ivory coast after been considered a weaker side by the media. So we now have Nigeria facing Morocco and Senegal facing Egypt. This semi finals is a must watch and I would predict a Nigeria Vs Egypt final.

It is obvious that all Nigerians are happy with the performance of the super Eagles in the ongoing African Nations, but when I remember that Nigeria was unable to qualify for the World Cup, I feel so sad.

It does feel sad because the current Super Eagles we are watching in the AFCON tournament are something else, that we could have seen them go far in the World Cup with the kind of team spirit and energy they have in them to challenge both big and small countries with their full strength.

Look at how they have put smiles on our faces today. If they had been giving us this fantastic performance in the World Cup qualification, nobody would have talked badly about them. We would have by now been saying that we have a good team that would represent the African team well in the World Cup, not to disgrace us.

Nevertheless, the Super Eagles have the AFCON Cup to lift on the way, to at least soften our hearts for the consideration of the World Cup missed opportunities to showcase their team capabilities to the world

We can say that,  Nigeria really deserve more better as we can see how they tend to play, they really do it more than what many expected. For me I thought Algeria would have given them some hard time, but it didn't go in that way, as we can see how Nigeria so use their physicality so well and how they make use of every opportunity they have. Nigeria to say is one of the best team in this AFCON as they have been playing very well not to even draw any match. Nigeria I believe will play Morocco as to an extent many of us will not expect it.

I have actually said this that it is not actually about wins for this super eagles in this tournament but sincerely it is about how they have actually managed to put up some solid performances. You notice that since the arrival of Eric Chelle we do not sit back and scrape out win any more but actually go out without fear to dominate our opponents and this hasn’t been producing wins alone but has also made most Nigeria matches very entertaining.

This match against Algeria, you can see that from the start of the game we were direct and forced the desert warriors back into defense, which actually forced them from playing their usual football.

The game against Morocco is one which will be very tricky most especially with them having the home advantage, the Cameroonian manager praised their fans the other day for being like a twelve man after their performance against Cameroon and I think Nigeria will have play it under same conditions too, they should be focused and not let the crowd get into them

Most of the players who are playing for the Super Eagles now were not called up during the World Cup qualifiers. This is a different team, a different formation, and it all started when Eric Cheille was made the head coach. Even so, Nigeria started performing better in the late hours of the World Cup qualification because of Erich Cheile. If he were there at the very start of the competition, I know we would be in the World Cup by now.

The performance of our super eagles so far in this Afcon makes it very painful that we are not going to showcase our talented squad at the world cup, and it's very painful. Just look at how easy Nigeria makes the match looks like yesterday, it was a total dominance from them, and I think that the Algerian team were just lucky not to lose more than that two goals because if the Nigerian team were ruthless in front of goal, it would have been up to six goals to nil, but regardless of that, kudos to our beloved super eagles team that on this deserving victory, because they made the game looks very easy.

It's a team sport, why should one be selfish?! It's the main reason why I dislike Selfish players. Victor Osimhen has never been selfish anyways, a striker like him should be selfish because he is competing for the highest goal scorer award but he wasn't. I think Morocco is going to win this Tournament, Considering them being the host Nation and having so many experienced players, who was part of the squad that played in the last World Cup and took them to the Semi-Finals of the World Cup, Morocco have never won the Nations Cup, so I believe they are motivated to win this Tournaments on home soil, and they’ve been putting in good performances so far during this Tournament.

Unfortunately for Nigeria this will be the end of the Road for them in the AFCON, they will have to settle for the third place position that they’re always good at playing third place, The Nigerian Super Eagles have had a good Tournament so far, so they should try and get a bronze medal at least because there will be no room for lapses from Morocco who are desperate to win the Tournament.

Being selfish is part and parcel of a top quality striker that always wants to fight for the top scorer positions, but as you have rightfully said, it's a team game, the final outcome of the game is more important than personal glory that victor osimhen might be guning for, so a huge credit to him for not wanting personal glory over the teams glory.

As for the Morocco vs Nigerian game, take away sentiment from this game, I see the Nigerian team as the favourite to win this game because they are the best scoring team in the tournament.

Because I know for a fact that our super eagles will want to boss the game and possess more of the ball  as they usually does. So in my own opinion, if the Morocco team want to win this game, they have to take the midfield from the Nigerian team which I don't think they have the players to do so, because that's the biggest strength of the Nigerian team.

Hence, making it 2 goals to nil against Algeria right now at 88 minutes into the game, despite the Super Eagles having 1 yellow card and Algeria having straight 5 yellow cards. So I'm happy for the Super Eagles to playing excellently today, because we have won this game.

That was exactly what killed them in the FIFA World Cup qualifiers. They were not playing like a team, but now, in the AFCON, they are playing as a team, which has brought them to the current stage they are in. If they focus more, I have hope that they will make it to the final, because I see the potential that they will beat Morocco. If that happens, the final will definitely be Nigeria against Egypt, which will be a hot cake. We look forward to seeing an astonishing performance from the Super Eagles.

they have been the best team this afcon, i can even say they have played the best football through out this tournament it is sad that they are not making the worldcup

Well I must say that I was very disappointed with Algeria's performance in the game against the Super Eagles, it was like they were not ready for the game, I was watching the game and thinking is it the same Algeria that played against the DR. Congo, unfortunately for them I guess they got tired and was incapable of playing the Super Eagles, but I must tell you this is the end of the Road for the Nigerian Super Eagles, and I will have to tell you not to get carried away by this all

In my over two decades of watching the Super Eagles of Nigeria, I've actually haven't seen them perform at the top of their game like they did today in their CAF African Cup Of Nations quarter final game against Algeria. Right from the kickoff whistle till the final whistle, Nigeria were dominant like they were playing an amateur team but no, they were playing against the same Algerian side that eliminated them from the same competition in the past. If Nigeria can continue to play like this, I won't be surprised to see them win the AFCON this year.
