Algeria is really funny to have file a complaint about the match between them and Nigeria. When I saw this on vanguard news I was like , are this people really serious. They barely have a shot on target and yet they are complaining about the referee being impartial. I think Algeria is just looking for means to come up with unnecessary excuses for there failure. The super eagles deserve the victory and there was no form of partiality in that match.

Their football federation is just acting like a bunch of soar losers, they were completely outplayed,  outclassed and overwhelmingly dominated by the super eagles. Algeria felt a bit entitled, I think they underestimated our players and thought it was business as usual for them! Probably due to the past meetings and they were shocked by our performance in this tournament.

They really do underestimate the super Eagles Players, before even the start of the match, to me the 2 to 0 lead from the Nigeria side was not enough, as this was something that they didn't expect. Nigeria outplayed them in all areas. What really caught my attention was the fact that Mahrez was unable to perform his magic on the pitch, because of how he was covered. No space was given to the Algerian side.

I am not surprised this is what most African fans or football believe in that one can actually attain success in things like this if they involve anything divine, we see Egyptians coming with the Quran to pray, some European countries or other continents too also praying to their maker, so Mali can also worship what they might been thinking would work for them but the o my problem is paying them.

I don't think the Algerian side underestimated the Super Eagles because it will insulting of them to have done so because I practically see no reason why they would underrate our capacity when all the times we have met with them, we've beat them more than they have done to us, coupled with the kind of performance pulled through but the Super Eagle guys lately, no team even Egypt and Morocco can take us for granted. All I know was the Super Eagle guys were more powerful than them and it was exhibited during their fixtures on the day of the game.

Algeria tried to judge the super eagles performance based on previous AFCONs but to their greatest surprise they played a team way bigger than their very expectations. Algeria's performance was too bad that Nwabali rested all through the game. I won't want to underestimate Morocco because as far a team can make it to the semi finals they have equal chance to win the AFCON so I will prefer the Eagles takes on their hills to ensure the do justice to the remaining stages of the tournament so they avoid being taken unaware.

This is really hilarious and if this is actually true, but I am in full support the decision to arrest and persecute him because they have made it normal in deceiving people all in the name of the gods says this, the gods says that, so it's very good that he is used as an escape goat, since it's going to serve as a deterrence to others that are also doing such as you have rightfully said.
Additional, I would have really liked that it is made a law in African that any spiritualist that comes to give false prophecy on any footballing activities in the continent should be arrested and persecuted according to the law, because that will really help in reducing the fake prophecy going on around Africa.

yes  you are right, this is indeed foolishness.I don't think if this news Is actually true. Such news coming out to the public will definitely tarnish the reputation of the country and which the country may not want this kind of information to leak out to the public. I'm inclined to think so as well. They had gone into that game underestimating their opponents and it paid off(for Nigeria) resulting in Algeria's loss. They lost and is now running over to CAF and FIFA to file complaints. Perhaps they're filing such complaints to justify the little scuffle that occurred between some Algerian players and some match officials. It was quite embarrassing to see such scuffle after the game as fans were said to have wanted to breach the stands and storm the field but were stopped by stadium security.
I'm curious.. if/when Nigeria goes on to win Morocco in the semi finals, would we have some unruly behavior displayed by the home fans then? I sure hope not.

I still wonder why people still believe that voodoo works in football. The Mali team or Mali football federation must be very stupid or foolish to pay such money to a native in hope that they will win the AFCON. This is disheartening to hear that a whole nation got swindled and they fell for, this goes ahead to show how gullible these people can be at a time, invariably they are most likely to explore other ways should they have found one other than this. if it were to be an individual athlete who fell victim of this, i would find room for considerations but to see and think that a whole nation fell for this and got swindled in this manner goes to tell poorly about the country and to a far extent Africa.

For how long are to continue in things as such, this said country should be sanctioned for attempting to cheat, because if they had succeeded, it would have been another story and subsequently others would want to adopt that pattern for victory. But if they are sanctioned, others will learn and try not to attempt such moving forward.

I agree with you here, some person did not believe that super eagles will go this far just because of their performance during the world cup qualifiers although I will blame anyone because it was an annoying past event but the AFCON is a different competition and Super eagles has retraced their steps, they have made us proud by coming out with flying colors in all they match they have part of at this point, am one of those that doubted if they can play very well in the ongoing AFCON but to my greatest surprise they have done more than i expected, sincerely there match with Morocco is a match to watch but if Nigeria super eagles succeed in beating Morocco, the cup becomes theirs.

I feel the Moroccans are very intentional on how they want the world to see them because they also have plans to keep hosting more football competitions so the citizens and even the football players themselves will coordinate themselves in a better manner if they are defeated by the Super Eagles knowing they are the host and will not want a bad image. The Algerians were not happy that some decisions did not go their way, even a penalty that they expected, Morocco are the host, and normally the officials may be softer with them. Let us hope that decisions in that game don't go against us, and it is our players at the end of the game who have their own complaints. I hope for a fair game with good officiating.

The super eagles performance in their world cup qualifier was too bad so from now they played no one expected to get to this stage that's getting to the semi final, ordinarily the super eagles are supposed to win the AFCON without getting defeated by an country side and I think that's what they are doing now i wish they can win Morocco proceed to the final and also win it so they can cover up the shame they brought us during their world cup qualifier.
