I will be watching Senegal vs Egypt and cheering on my boy Salah.

If Nierian progresses to the final, and Egypt progresses to the final after today, who will you be rooting for to win the AFCON?

Today the finalists of the Africa Cup will be decided. All four teams are more or less equal in terms of strength, but Morocco are playing at home, which gives them a bit of an advantage. Nigeria failed to qualify for the World Cup, so this Africa Cup is a great chance for them to redeem themselves in front of their own fans. In the Egypt–Senegal match, we’re unlikely to see many goals, and the winner might be decided by a penalty shootout.

Today there's no other major interesting activity than the semi final games tonight and it's actually not going to be easy for any side even for Morocco who are posed to have a home advantage as host nation. With everything going fair in officiation, the better and lucky sides would make it to the finals. I was actually looking at Nigeria Vs Morocco to be with less goals and not that of Senegal Vs Egypt.

There's an error with this image where we have Egypt, Morocco and Nigeria only, no Senegal player represented. It is that Senegal have being counted out of the tournament even before the semifinals against Egypt?

This match is not going to be easy at all and Nigeria playing with Morroco because Morroco is playing at their home and for Nigeria to go to Morroco to beat them their is not going to be easy. Nigeria is not playing with Tunisia or other countries with small teams that can be very easy for them to beat. I have no smooth expectation for this match because it is not going to be easy.

Nigerian team alway lose their matches whenever they got to this point, why Morocco alway defeat their opponents whenever they get to semi finals, for me this match doesn't trigger me to bet direct win to any team, and I will bet them since it's a semi finals, I will bet first half over 0.5 or I double chance, because they will be a lot of goals in this match.

This match is not going to be easy at all and Nigeria playing with Morroco because Morroco is playing at their home and for Nigeria to go to Morroco to beat them their is not going to be easy. Truly this is going to be a fierce game between these two teams but Morocco are holding more of the advantage here because they are the host nation, but why I believe that the Nigerian team has what it takes to defeat this Morocco team is because of their formidable forward line of victor osimhen, ademola lookman and Akor Adams.
Though the Moroccan manager has been talking tough all through since the fixtures was confirmed, but it has been proven overtime that talking tough changes nothing, instead it adds more pressure on  you as a person or to his team, so that is another reason I think that they might easily crumble against the Nigerian team.

Eric Chelle has always put out a solid lineup and even the players coming in as substitutes are usually make a positive impact. So I don't think they will have a problem with his lineup today, but I'm worried about the officiating and fans support in the stadium in today's match. I heard that the referee  that will officiate the match between Super Eagles and Morocco is from Ghana, and there's also a rumor that Moroccans have bought 95 percent of the tickets, although I don't know how true this is, but it's possible because they're the hosts of this AFCON, which I believe they can do anything to favor themselves.

Super Eagles will have just 5 percent support in the stadium, and the rest fans will be outside, which I don't feel comfortable with. Honestly my mind is telling me Morocco is up to something to make this game favor them by force. No matter how well Nigeria wants to play, if they don't have good officiating and huge support from their fans, it will have a negative effect on their play.

Except Nigeria Fans. This is not the first time and we are use to them. I don't know for the Moroccans' fans. Their last game with Tanzania, I could see their serious faces. So I suspecting that the teams that the fans would cry will be Morocco and Egypt. I don't think Senegal will cry too. This is the intense stage of the tournament. All teams will put their best but the lucky teams will go to the final. We pray to God, Nigeria should be the lucky team to play the final and win the cup.

Just few minutes left in start of first semifinal for the AFCON Cup here at Morocco, teams are Senegal and Egypt both are having their best but due to recent performance and teams depth Senegal are favourite to win at @2.1 while Egypt which is having good games still searching for their depth are moving around @4.5.

Super Eagles performance in this tournament is very impressive and we are very proud of them but playing against Morroco and think they can beat Morroco is not a good idea, I want super eagles to win this trophy because we deserve it but we should not forget that we are talking about football and anything can happen in football, Super Eagles is playing against one the best teams in this tournament and that is Morroco, Morroco has many good players like Brahim Diaz, Hakimi and others who are very good when it comes to attacking and scoring goals.

As a matter of fact and unbias, the Morocco guys have more stronger chances of winning than the Nigerian side. The two teams have only met 5 times since the beginning of the AFCON competition, with Nigeria winning two of the games and Morocco winning 3 of the games and the first time they met which was in 1976, Morocco defeated the Nigerian team to win their first and I guess only AFCON title but on the other hand, Nigerians also went on to beat them on another challenge.

But what I mentioned above is from one angle, to also look it this way, Nigeria have had the opportunity to face the AFCON host nations teams about 10 times now and of the ten occasions, they have won 3 matches against the hosts nations, lost 4 games and draw in 3 matches. But there's also one interesting record which has been made since the beginning of this AFCON competition. Since they started till now, Nigeria has not lost a single game when Osimhen scores or assists so I encourage the team to work hard and score early goals before they get exhausted.

Yeah, no one is disputing the fact that Morocco is a strong team with good squad and are ranked 1st position by FIFA in African football but what you should know is that they are also facing one of the best teams in Africa namely Nigeria who have not been got a 5/5 winning in the matches they have played which shows consistency in the camp of the Super Eagles. Since Morocco has won Nigeria in 3 AFCON meetings and Nigeria has won Morocco in 2 meetings, it's now time for Nigeria to equal with Morocco and considering their current form, i think that are equal to the task.

Morocco have been unbeaten in 22 games and are coming into this one with so much confidence, also they would still be in the same stadium they've been since the tournament started and as such would be having the advantage of home ground but I there's anything I've come to enjoy about the Nigerians is that they're not easily intimidated. Where Morocco has one African Best, they've got two so there's nothing they can use to suppress the Eagles.
If cares not taken, Nigeria could do to them what they Super Falcons did to their women, eliminated them and took the trophy but in the men's case, they'd eliminate the hosts.

The stress you are on, is it because of the match, please mate I advise this is just a match, don't get stressed out because of it because of your mental health, unless there's another thing that's bothering you but even as that, you need to relax yourself, in the game of soccer especially cup competition that has reached this stage, one side must win, either by normal football time which is 90minutes, extra time or penalty, I agree with you that Morocco has a good team, but we can't dispute the fact that nigeria has a great team too, because if they weren't good, I dont think that they would've have reach this far, am hopeful that Nigeria can win this match.

Africa and the easiest way to gain victory, this is no way to progress into the finals of the AFCON and to win the trophy. If Africans continue to use this same method I don't think the outside World would see us as a continent that can get the job done without Voodoo and this was the same thing the Super Eagles head coach was talking about when we played Dr, Congo, this is a disgrace to Africa football.

I still wonder why people still believe that voodoo works in football. The Mali team or Mali football federation must be very stupid or foolish to pay such money to a native in hope that they will win the AFCON. Egypt from my observation in the earlier matches played to get to this phase of the tournament, they have not really won possession against a team of their size but they are very good at utilizing goal chances, it happened with Ivory Coast, and that has been what has taken Egypt to this extend.

So I warn that Senegal be very mindful of their defense with all that pressure and possession towards Egypt cause it will saddle on nothing should Egypt caught them by surprise to score a goal with a chance they may have in the second half.

Why must it be Rabat all the time? Right from the beginning of this tournament Morocco has been on one stadium till date, haven't seen a host nation playing only on one stadium, like what's so special about this particular stadium? The Super Eagles and every other countries do play in different stadium but Morocco I haven't seen them make a change to a different stadium and today they're on the same place where they started. Isn't it concerning? What's so special about Morocco playing all their game in Rabat?

The mentality that will give us the win is not one that sits to give excuses  on which field the opponent have been using or not. When it comes to the game of football, your opponent's voodoo doesn't have a serious effect on the outcome of the game.

What we need is for the eagles to go into the game with the right mentality, give in Thier all and come out victorious.  If it's by superstitious believe then we are more of a religious or even diabolical nation than they are.   The home advantage allows them as the host country to enjoy some of those privileges but with the right mentality, we can still break them down big time.

Voodoo or not things do happen that many of us don't know about, not only that, is like we don't care to know but in this game I know we shouldn't use what we see as an excuse when things goes bad but yet again why must it be Rabat? They have other good stadiums to make use of but they choose this particular one maybe because of the capacity so they can use that means to fuel in their supporters to intimate their opponents, this I can agree on. If Rabat is just an ordinary stadium like nothing big about it, why are they adding about 3 to 4 stadium in this tournament? They should have used only the Rabat instead.

I'm preparing my emotions for the Nigeria fixture, the stress of watching two finals.

I want Egypt to win if Nigeria should qualify, it will be much easier to face Egypt over Senegal.

Our players are Europe built, similar pattern of football like the North Africans, unlike West Africans that prefer agility and strength.
