Finally, Senegal has finally scored after several attempts on goal, they have finally broke the Egyptian defence and open the scoring. Senegal to win and Nigeria to win as well to make up my day. If this happens, I will so enjoy the finals. Seriously, this is not the Egyptian team we used to know, the Senegalese dominated them so well in this very game.

Senegal - Egypt match is live and the score is 0:0. From what i have seen in the first half, Egypt is a the verge of losing this match to Senegal because the pressure from the Senegal team is impressive, even in the ball possession they got 70 while Egypt got 30. The Egyptian team needs to opt their game in the second half otherwise Senegal will score them very quickly and eliminate them from reaching the AFCON final.

Egypt from my observation in the earlier matches played to get to this phase of the tournament, they have not really won possession against a team of their size but they are very good at utilizing goal chances, it happened with Ivory Coast, and that has been what has taken Egypt to this extend.

So I warn that Senegal be very mindful of their defense with all that pressure and possession towards Egypt cause it will saddle on nothing should Egypt caught them by surprise to score a goal with a chance they may have in the second half.

I have also noticed that Egypt failed to dominate the matches they played against strong opponents, but that isn't a problem because what really matters most in football is scoring goals and winning matches, and since Egypt has been doing all these in the matches they have played so far, they are still performing well in the African Cup of Nations. I want Egypt to even defeat Senegal and advance to the final so that it will be easy for the Super Eagles to beat Egypt and lift this year's African Cup of Nations.

I might not watch the game because I am already under stress. The Morrocan side is formidable and can come up with surprises But based on our past performance, the Super Eagles have what it takes to win this game. Senegal has qualify for the finals, after a very dramatic game against Egypt which they completely dominated But find it hard to score goal..the mane’s goal in the 78th minute seal this victory for the Senegal national team. Egypt had only one shot on target and one off target while Senegal had four shot on target and four off target.

This is truly interesting looking at how Sadio Mane bailed out the country's side from the semi finals to qualify for final. I never thought it was going to be a smooth ride for them because I was favoring Egyptians than the Senegalese based on my rough estimates. I have forgotten Mane was going to be active in the game but also thought Salah would perform more interesting magics than the other side. But with this, I already see Nigeria winning this year of AFCON if we eventually win the match against Morocco tonight. I can't wait to see how our super eagle players will make us proud couple with the reward promised by our Billionaire Abdulsamad Rabiu among other rewards promised. Next Game: Nigeria vs Morocco

This game seems like the finals to me and who ever wins this encounter will be crowded champions. The host nation Morocco will do whatever it takes to be in the finals and I'd say this, the pressure is more on the Moroccans because the fans expect them to win the AFCON and for the Eagles, they have been the best of this tournament and with that perfect record, winning every single game and now all eyes are on the Super Eagles. The obstacles are much, Ghana Ref and the VAR room we have South Africa Ref so now is like Nigeria are playing against 13 players, (1) the 11 players on the pitch, the fans of Morocco (because I know they're going to be more than we expect) and finally (3) the refs both the ones in the VAR room, so it will be a long night for the Super Eagles.
For the Super Eagles to win this game without minding what's happening on and off the pitch, I think they need to keep playing the way they have been playing and again, very important...is to handle the game like how Germany national team played against Brazil in the World Cup where they won by 7 goals to 1, take the game to the Moroccans, for e them to defend instead of attacking and make sure every opportunity counts, that's how it should be done...we can win this game.

Let us be honest, we only hoped for Egypt to win but so far as Africa is concerned, Senegal is stronger than Egypt and the bookmakers knew about it that is why they gave Senegal the lesser odd and gave Egypt high odd. From the first half of the match until it ended, Senegal dominated. The defense of Egypt was very solid but is just that the strike from Sadio Mane was thunderous and the goalkeeper couldn't help. I'm somehow being skeptical about Nigeria winning Morocco because many people predicted Egypt to win Senegal, but the reverse was the case so same thing might happen to Nigeria against Morocco. I really want to see Nigeria make it to the final even if they don't win the AFCON.

Senegal really deserved to win the match with the way they dominated the game completely. They played really well in both the first half and the second half of the game, they showed a lot of quality and proves to the world that they did not depend on one player just like Egypt depend on Moh Sallah and Umar Marmmush of Manchester City. At the end of the game, the best team won the match; and Senegal is now in the final waiting either Nigeria or the host country Morocco in the final.

I've said it before now that this Egyptians team hasn't really shown too much of impact in this competition, unlike previous tournaments,  Mo.Salah isn't scoring much goals as we expected of him, in fact he is a shadow of himself. I give it to Senegal, they are the better team, though it was a tough game but they made use of their opportunity.

Congratulations to the Teranga Lions of Senegal as they were the first country to book their place in the finals of this year's Nations cup. The Senegalese team were superb as they showed class and quality in this match. It was a total masterclass performance from Senegal as they took the fight to the Egyptians. Seriously speaking I expected a much tougher completion from Egypt but that was not the case as the Egyptian relied on the defense and counters,but that did not work for them because the Senegalese kept on mounting the pressure.

Egypt could've done that, but I didn't know why they held back and only started attacking viscously in the late moments, like I was literally disappointed with their performance. I feel they overestimated Senegal and Senegal had their way. Mane's goal was a pure display of experience and good timing. The goalkeeper was already distracted with the first strike and was not expecting another in quick successful which was the main reason he couldn't even move.

Congratulations to them, they just made it to the finals with whoever qualifies between Nigeria and Morocco.

Honestly I was disappointed with Egypt performance they didn't play as if this was a semi final. Considering their great performance from the start of this AFCON, I thought this semi-final would be in their favor, but I don't even see this match as a competitive game. Senegal performance was interesting and after several attempts, Sadio Mane netted a goal in the 78th minute, which helped them qualify for the final. If they have a fair game today and the officiating isn't biased, I'm confident that the Super Eagles will beat Morocco today because they have a stronger team than the other countries.

I believe that if Nigeria had played against Egypt, then Nigeria would have won the game, but unfortunately for Nigeria, they will play against Morocco in a few days, which is the most difficult national team in this tournament. It's not very difficult for Nigeria to win, especially since the Nigerian national team has been one of the ones that has surprised me a lot and they have many skillful players who can make a big difference in today's game. I didn't bet on this game and I won't watch it because I'll be watching the Arsenal game.

Ndidi doesn't make the squad for the semi finals. He had a knock against Algeria and looks to have not recovered fully yet. Onyedika is a very capable replacement. I was impressed anytime I watched him play for Club Brugge and feel he should have gotten a bit more playing time this tournament. He also has an eye for goals and has scored 2 already with his limited minutes.

This will b a very tough game against the host. Both Nigeria and Morocco like to press high and close spaces. The battle for the midfield will be very important for who wins this.

That’s true, based on their performance in this semifinal match today against Senegal, I was thinking that Ivory Coast would have been a tougher opponent for Senegal because this Egypt team didn’t perform up to expectations today. With players like Mohammed Sallah in the squad, I was expecting h to score at least one goal just as he was scoring in the competition almost in all their matches, but it’s a game of football and Senegal won the match by 1-0; a goal from a legend Sadio Mane.

Congratulations to Senegal, they have reached the AFCON final for the second time, and they defeated the same Egypt in the 2021 AFCON final in the penalties, and now they are in the final waiting for either Nigeria or Morocco in the final.

Professionalism aside I’m not comfortable with the choice of officials for this game, I have a feeling they might be biased cos of the ongoing banter with said Countries…… but it’s football.
The Super Eagles are ready to take this match to whatever level the Moroccans can bring and overpower them, what a beauty it’ll be an all West African Finals hosted in the North. Winter is coming…….

I'm seeing Nigeria vs Senegal in the final, not because I want Nigeria to win but based on the facts, Nigeria have upper hands in that match. Morocco may have home advantage on their side as the host but at the stage, I think home advantage is not a major factor because everyone wants to win. Nigeria have a hungry team than need the winning more than anything and they have the team to make it happen.  With Vicyor Osimhen in the pitch and Lookman Ademola supporting, there is no way Nigwria will not score at least two goals which is enough to give them the winning.

Senegal deservedly through to the final, I was very disappointed with Egypt. They were so defensive for nearly the whole game. They only came out and trued to play right at the end after Mane had scored.

Nigeria vs Morocco kicks off shortly, I am rooting for the Nigerian’s. I like quite a few of their players especially Osimhen and Lookman.
