I doubt Canada would win SA this time. SA is in a better form as we saw improvement in their performance that led them to qualifying for the 2nd round.
Morroco would win  Netherlands and advance to the next round.
Egypt would definitely pipe Australia out of the tournament sending them packing back to their fatherland and Ghana /Colombia match would be a tough one also.

I hope your doubt is clear now, Canada obviously had a better squad that are more experienced in their team, their performance in the group state was not so good but i never rate south Africa ahead of them. i was so busy yesterday but if i was to place any bet yesterday on that match, i would have picked Canada to win the south Africa team which i would have won. you also think Morocco will be able to win the Netherlands, that's not going to be easy because Netherlands are the better team and they have more experience players at the world cup, Morocco can have been great lately but i don't think they are there yet to defeat a team like the Netherlands. the only prediction i think i will agree with is that of Egypt winning the Australia even though it wont be an easy one also.  

On point you are right Canada really did well at the World Cup even in paper they really played well, but at first it was not good the way it was planned but most time you just need to understand football that most time it not by how the game start it how the game endings, well the South Africa guys they underperformed hard and it was even not that bad.

I agree with you, if that match ended in draw , South Africa would have been on their way to the Round of 16. If we even analyze that match properly we will notice that South Africa were looking for a draw. I was pretty proud of their defensive shape yesterday. But they were unfortunate to keep that score to the full time. At least they have broken a record by reaching a knockout phase in the world cup for the first time. That is something they should be proud off after starting the competition in a poor shape.

This game has ended and South Africa should take lessons from this World Cup. They progressed well this time thanks to the expansion of the teams to 48 but they could be classed better and face easier opponent. After I wasn't expecting more from them.

Now it is Morocco time. This team is likely the only hope of Africa to progress to advanced stages. Senegal, Egypt and Ghana might have a chance to advance this time too since their opponents aren't extremely hard, yet all their games remained challenging. Even Morocco isn't considered as favourite against Netherlands but they still have a chance. Hopefully they will not quite in the next hours.

African teams are doing very well in this world competition but I believe it’s only Morocco that will do better in this World Cup among all the African countries, Morocco is showing very good potential I don’t think there’s any country in this World Cup that will be happy to meet Morocco in this competition, even as I trust in them I know that anything can happen in this World Cup competition because World Cup is actually full of surprises but I love the way Morocco is playing and I see they are determined and confident, they can actually lift the World Cup if they put in more effort.

It is not possible to say whether Morocco will win the World Cup. However, we are really optimistic about their performance because among the ten African countries, Morocco and Cape Verde have shown very good performances and have qualified for the next round. As far as I know, if any African country can win the World Cup, then only Morocco has that ability. I believe so because in the Round of 32, Cape Verde will play Argentina, who are the football superpower and three-time champions, so it is understood that they may not be able to compete with Argentina. But for the first time, they have surprised the whole world with their performance. Although my country did not qualify for the main competition of the World Cup but I am optimistic about Morocco.

Morocco showed great progress in the last World Cup, so we think they will dominate the 2026 FIFA World Cup. I think is a game between two teams that are equal to each other, I really don't see who is an underdog between Morocco and Netherland, so I'll be having an open mind in that game, but then as an African I'll be tilting towards Morocco having the day but then the Netherlands are veterans when it comes to the World cup, so they will seriously want to pose a threat. The competition is coming to a point where interesting things are happening because these are some of the teams we want to see how impactful they can perform when they meet each other.

Canada beat the SA in the RO32 and now they are in RO16. In the first half SA kept 55% of the possession no big chances created and just 3 shots. Canada with 45% of the possession created 3 big chances and 7 total shots. In the second half SA dominated again with 61% of the possession still no big chances created and just 3 shots. Canada with 39% possession created 1 big chance and 5 shots. SA didn't get what they wanted Canada got their goal in the added time of 2nd half 90+2 Eustaquio scored a goal for Canada and now they are in RO16. He was named as player of the match for sending his team to R016.

By defeating this Netherlands team that was also considered contenders, I believe other teams will be fired up by it. When you give your best, it becomes any one’s game.

Similar events happened with Germany, losing out to a much lesser team Paraguay. This is what happens when you don’t take your chances. Since Germany last won the World Cup their campaigns have not being so great.

Now can Ivory Coast survive Norway?…. The Norwegians have been burning red hot but I believe the Ivorians have what it takes.

Woke up around  midnight  while the Morocco match was still playing  at 45 minute, I really  wanted to watch the game as I was antipating the result  of the match but  I was sleepy  at the same time  considering  the time the match was playing  in my country, so I check  the stats and I realize  Morocco  was leading  by stats but the bookies  still made Netherlands the various  from their odds, sadly I was stolen  by sleep only  to wake up this morning  to see the score  line ended 1-1FT and Morocco  had advances to the  next round  after penalties was player 2-3, it's a great achievement  honestly  for a African  team to knock a country like Netherlands out of the world  cup is something  to be proud  of, I think I might  have underated  them earlier  but they did show me that they are one of the best African  nations that are participating  in the world  tournament. At this moment  I just have to give the there flowers.

Congratulation for Morocco as the first Africa team success securing next round ticket, unpredictable success eliminating Netherland and so far Morocco have played 4 matches still unbeaten. Next games in round of 16 Morocco will face Canada how possibility reach the last edition record Morocco is the only one of Africa team success qualifying to semifinal round.

Ivory Coast will face Norway and I don't think easily match because Morocco put at the bench Erling Haaland, Martin Ødegaard and Alexander Sørloth at the bench when Norway beating by France at last group match. I think they are fully ready for playing at the early minutes when facing Ivory Coast who have difficulty match to beat Norwat.

I think you already mixing things up because Ghana didn’t play today, and their next match is going to be against Colombia on the 4th of next month. Ghana is among the teams that qualified for the round of 32 in the World Cup. Ghana lost against  Croatia in their last match, but they qualified for the round of 32 in their group. They had 4 points in the three matches which they played, and they were promoted to the round of 32 because they were in 3rd position on the table.

Well, Ghana is not yet out of the tournament  even though  they were  beaten by the Croatian team  in their last group  stage match which took them to 3rd in the group, they still manage  to advance to the next round  as one of the best 3rd place  teams, I think it was after Uruguay loss  that gave them the chance  to progress  to then next round. To make it more clear to you that Ghana is still in the tournament  they have a fixtures  to play with Colombia  at the next round  of 32, so please stop spreading  wrong info make your confirmation  before making  your post.

My bad Ghana is not yet out. I didn't look at the results well. The Black Stars will be playing with Colombia on Saturday at Kansas City Stadium, Kansas City. I am happy that Africa still has eight teams in the competition. Morocco are already in the next round thanks to the boys who have been making Africa proud since the last World Cup in Qatar. Netherlands is a highly rated side but Morocco has an assembly of disciplined and talented players.

Congratulation to Morocco for progressing to the next round of the competition with a sound performance against the Netherlands, though they were very lucky to get their equalizer at the dying minute, but their overall performance was very good, which was why I believe that they deserve the winning, even though they eventually won on penalties which is a game of luck.

Now can Ivory Coast survive Norway?…. The Norwegians have been burning red hot but I believe the Ivorians have what it takes.

The ivorian national team have what it takes to beat this Norway team convincingly because they are very good. I watched their game against the Germans national team that they lost 2-1, they did very well in that game, but the mistake they made was that they started playing defensive after they came from the break, which was what cost them the game, so if they can play their normal game without fear, they can beat this Norwegian team.

Congratulations to Morocco for qualifying for the Round of 16. With this victory, they showed they are a very strong team and can reach much higher levels. Considering the poor state of many European teams, I only see Argentina, France, and Brazil as obstacles for Morocco to reach the final or even become champions. Apart from those three teams, the remaining teams are within Morocco's reach. We'll see how far Morocco goes in this competition. I don't have high expectations for other African teams, but I also believe it's possible to see more African teams advancing to the next stage.
