It is true that anyone can win penalties but in the case of Morocco, they played better and dominated the match. The Dutch team was able to score first and Moroccan scored late. I am proud of them because they deserved to advance. Waiting for the other "weaker" teams to follow so the favourite teams in bookies take a good lesson about underestimating their opponents and build a better team.

I'm surprised that you guys still find it surprising that Morroco is performing wonders in this world cup. Didn't you guys watch them in the last World Cup? The match between Morocco and the Netherlands presented both teams with a huge challenge as I noticed that both teams were able to score after the break. Honestly after the Netherlands took the lead in the 72nd minute, we thought they might beat Morocco in the round of 32 match but Morocco kept playing with more determination and managed to score a goal against the Netherlands in the 91st minute. Also, two Moroccan players missed the penalty but it was beyond our imagination that such an experienced player like Ashraf Hakimi would miss a penalty, however the African team was fortunate enough to secure a victory in the knockout stage.

I believed in Morocco right from when they played draw against Brazil, Netherlands is not stronger than Brazil so i never had any doubt in Morocco winning the Netherlands team. Even when the match entered the penalty shootout, i knew that Morocco players are very good on penalties kicks because of what they did to Nigeria when they played a penalty shootout in the semifinals of the last AFCON tournament. In 2022 FIFA world cup Morocco reached the semifinal stage, hopefully they will reach the final of the 2026 FIFA world cup. I was also optimistic  about them putting up the same vibe  as Morocco  did. I mean coming  back from behind  to level  up and try to even win in FT or penalties.
