Egypt messed up by giving way for those equalizing 2goals by Argentina, there's no serious team that'll be leading with 2 goals ahead to becoming defending side even though we know what happened later I still blame Egypt for creating a room for that,

I just think Egypt were relaxed after scoring their second goal, and that was the reason why Argentina were able to get a win in the match. I was really disappointed with them, because they should have just try and maintain their win, they should have played a complete defensive game just to avoid Argentina from penetrating into their defense. Honestly most people got disappointed in them, because after they scored their second goal, most people already believed that they have won the match already, but they ended up disappointing people.

This is a kind of style or should I say football pattern I have noticed amongst African teams this world cup even in the past to same thing happened. African teams are too relaxed whenever they are winning a game with their opponents and all these equalisation happens almost time up but however I will blame the coaches because at that point they should know that most of the player's are kind of tired and should be changed for a freshman to take over the defense till the game is over but they don't think about it. They just forget themselves till they lose out that is when they realise that they are out of the game and by then it will be too late.

It has really been a rough few months for him like I heard, I was hoping to see him start playing for a bigger team at some point, just as you have mentioned he left Chippa in the month of February, I think so and he was looking for that big move that would change his story, but in football I have come to understand that in everything you do you need to have patience before things start working out for you… He just needs to understand that everything works perfectly in timing, what an emotional drama that the transfer window didn’t go how he planned. You call it pride, but it was a player who knew what he wanted, going for that thing, even if he didn't achieve what he wished for, but i applaud his bold step, imagine if things went really well for him and he now plays for a better club than Chippa United. They blame part of the reason of their failure in this match to the official that was officiating the match. I can’t remember watching this match fully but I was very sure that the last minutes goals that came successively after each other should have been well defended by them.

Even if the official was to be blamed for some of his injustice in the field, they were suppose to be very cautious of not allowing Argentina to win them in that match. After the game, they can now forward their grievances. They did that after losing the match and their was no way they would be listened to that much again because many will think they doing it because of the loss they faced even though that was not the case.

Argentina is a big team, their elimination from the competition will be a prestige to the Egyptians and Africans at large but they messed things up and ended up becoming the team that left the competition early even after that superb performance from them in the early start of the game.

Sure, everyone thought they would win after the second goal was scored. It was meant be a security goal and considering the time  it was around 70th minutes or there about which they only have 20 minutes to play Plus the added minutes, though I was not confident about them wining even when they scored the second goal because the pressure was much on them if not for the fact that they have a solid defense Argentina would have equalized earlier before the second goal came in. African countries really tried in this 2026 world cup more than the past years.

This was not exactly the case for Stanley Nwabali, he was offered a contract from another club, he did everything with the new club i think even medicals, but later had a fall out due to wages, the amount they were ready to pay him wasn't what he was looking at, so the deal was aborted. If the situation was exactly the way your putting it, trust me Chippa United wouldn't have allowed him to rejoin. Talking about taking back his number spot, of course he will do that gradually, remember he was there Captain before he left.

AFrican teams performed beyond expectations especially Morocco, Moroccan deserve to go further in this world cup, the guys showed that Africans have good squads that can compete in the world football, at this point, I don't want to blame those that left earlier before Morocco was finally eliminated, with what we saw, they will likely do better in the next world, before the world cup started, I was not comfortable with all the African teams, despite that I know Senegal, Morocco and Algeria as African teams that do try in our nations cup football, I wasn't convinced if they will take that to the world cup, however, they did what they can do, even though Morocco is out, they made Africa proud which we won't forget easily.

With the way Morocco played in the 2022 world cup, I expected them to do just well even in this world cup and they really did. They played a very good game. Also look at Cape Verde performances from the group stage and their match against Argentina was impressive, because I never expected Cape Verde to challenge Argentina like that. I believe in the next world cup other African countries will put effort to compete strongly like Morocco.

Many Africans supported Morocco in this world cup but in the end they felt disappointed because of what their sport minister said. He said that Morocco wasn't representing Africans but only Morocco, although I don't know how through that news is but there's possibility that it's true because Moroccans don't take theirselves as an Africans.

Stanley Nwabali is a very good and talented player and he has been doing very well as a goalkeeper, I was even surprise that no European club came for him maybe because his already old but I believe if super eagle had qualified and went to the World Cup and he performed very well a very good club in European would have sign him.
Well it is good that he went back to his former club because it is better to be in a particular club and play than not being in any club at all.

We all witnessed the unnecessary errors he made on the pitch which was far from professional and this was closely monitored by his suitors.  I don't blame those clubs for not signing him, he showed great decline in form, but he surely have potentials. Why will he leave his present club when there's no offer from another club, is it how it is done? Doesn't he have an agent? Who advised him to make the stupid decision. Maybe he saw too much of himself.

People might not agree with me, but I do not see Nwabali as that great goalie figure, not at all. Nigerian super eagles is known for having good goalies and Nwabali cannot fit into that category. I believe he had his shine that 2024 and maybe thought too much about himself or luck ran out of him.

If you think I am hating on him, check the world cup and see how heroic goal keepers are. The world is producing excellent goalies on a daily. For Nwabali to fit into that category, he needs extra brush up.

They need to realize that there is another 15 to 18 minutes of play left. A lot of them have difficulty to account in the hydration breaks. The breaks last for 2-3 minutes, and this adds up to the injury time. And Senegal's case was much more obvious when compared to Egypt. They were leading by 2-0 against Belgium in the 86th minute, and then lost the match by a margin of 2-3, with Romelu Lukaku and Youri Tielemans scoring three goals for Belgium.

I don’t really know what happened with Stanley Nwabali, why he left his club at the first place and staying without a club that was a very bad precedent, I wouldn’t really say that he was arrogant to his club after getting some fame, I felt it was because of contracts issues that wasn’t sorted out, I have previously looked at what would’ve made him to leave the club, anyways if that is true then I must say congratulations to him for getting back to his club, however he has lost his place in the Super Eagles squad as the first choice Goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye have taken his place in the squad, but let’s see how it goes if he gets back to the Super Eagles Squad as the first Choice Goalkeeper.

Maybe it could be over anxiety or overconfidence that they've won that made them lose due to failure to keep defending properly. If a team is an underdog and playing against another team with better experience and player but managed to be 2 goals ahead at some point, they shouldn't feel relaxed but focus and continue defending their goals till the end, football is a game of 90 full minutes and extra times, 10 minutes is enough for the opponent to equalize and score more.

Maybe their coaches don't orientate them enough on that but on a second thought those players are professionals and should be aware of that already. Some people are saying it was staged to eliminate African countries cause two African teams can't coincidentally lose in similar way but I don't want to believe that cause everyone is entitled to their opinion, all I can say is that it's high time African countries sit up in international competitions.

I don't like playing victim unnecessarily, this was almost like a pattern with African teams in the R32 of the WC, they play well in first half and second half until 75 mins and they let down their guard and get kicked out of the competition. The only team that fought with all their might until full time was Cape Verde and I wished they were not eliminated. I watched the match myself, even though I wasn't very comfortable with the officiating but I still blamed Egypt for celebrating victory too quickly and letting down their guard to the extent they were sent packing within the remaining 10 minutes of the game, it's really a shame for them.

My bet on the previous match between Egypt and Argentina was for Argentina to win the match because I knew the propaganda that was arranged before now for Argentina to win the world cup. What Fifa are doing is very wrong, and with what they are doing, they're gradually destroying the legacy of Lionel Messi thinking that they are helping him out. Because all these bias actions of Fifa will make it looks like Messi was only able to score all these goals, and won all these trophies due to the assistance of Fifa, which is not true, that's why I believe that they are doing more harm to his legacy than good with what they are doing, believing that they are helping him out.

As for their game against England, it's going to be an entertaining game of football, and a game that can go either side, but if I will be gambling on this game, I will bet on the English team progressing to the final of this year Fifa world cup over the Argentine.

What happened to Egypt was not new to me because it has happened to Senegal and Cape Verde so when it came to Egypt turn, I was calmly relaxing and didn't bother myself for anything. I didn't bet on that match but predicted for Argentina to win the match and when Egypt scored, because of the time frame I thought theirs would be different but finally ended of like others.

Until we see the full-time completely achieved before we can accept for a victory to be celebrated, literally it is very possible that one should conclude on Egypt victory on that match, but football could come surprisingly beyond what we expected, Egypt has been performing well before now, until this world cup that it wasn't an impressive performance any longer that Morocco is more well doing than them, even Cape Verde performed better this world cup.
