Okay then, we shall see by then if he’s the reasons they’re underperforming and we’re not seeing good results from them. The blame has been on NFF for the long time discussions here while some people also blamed the players not showing full concern in the game. Seeing that Osimhen is also a center of attention here, maybe he will prove to us once again that he’s the best striker and the foreman for this Nigeria team. I have hope in Nigeria to qualify for the African Cup of Nations, but I’m not impressed by how they started out this journey. It was a ooor start, but I can still see room for improvement for them.
From the look of things, Victor Osimhen might not make the Super Eagles win games. He might help us to create chances and score goals, but the team would concede more goals because we have one of the weakest defenses in Africa. In our two recent games, we conceded six goals. Until  Éric Chelle puts the back line and midfield in order, scoring goals will no longer be enough to win games.
The only position that the Nigeria NT dominate the most is the attacking side.  We have alot of Nigerian who are  doing well in Europe but 50%-55% of them are all attackers.  Even our midfield is weak  not only our defence.  Weak midfielders has always be the reason why we struggle alot in some games and unable to score, because we have  average players in our midfield who are unable to create chances. Example was that Morocco game in the Afcon semi finals, our midfield was totally dead. If Eric Chelle can do his best to find good midfielders and wingbacks before the 2027 Afcon , it will really help us alot. We cannot keep relying on Iwobi and Ndidi who aren't really doing well in their respective clubs in my own view to keep leading playing for us.

I like your analysis, we have an attacking Force that is very formidable, with regards to the super Eagles game against Morocco, we actually did well in my own estimation, we lost in a penalty, we all know that in penalty anybody can win. But in line with what you said, we need new set of defenders and creative midfielders, not that the likes of Ndidi and iwobi are weak, but they are not living up to our present reality, same thing goes to the defence line too, Chelle should scout for replacement because we cannot go to AFCON with this same attitude of players, that's if we qualify anyways.

Super eagles players shouldn’t try to shame the NFF, they should try and make we their fans happy.

NFF does not care about the national team, they don't care of they succeed or fail. All they are interested in is how to divert funds meant for building the team to their own personal benefits. It is just sad because even if the players wants to overlook the shortcomings of the NFF, at a point they will get tired because they're also human. Nobody derived joy from where they are not appreciated so it's an issue that really needs to be addressed. Nigerians are football lovers, a lot of Nigerians are fans to foreign teams and if the Nigerian football was to be made to a standard, you will see that most of these local teams would have a lot of fans supporting them and even going to the stadium to watch live matches but the NFF is not willing to make that sacrifice for the Nigerian football.

Unfortunately they are struggling to win every match which means there is more to the game than having the big names and so many players invited to come take part in each game. The NFF is the problem of the team because by now they are supposed to be having different friendly games to help the players to get used to themselves also some of the players have complained about their poor treatments whenever they come to play, the players are not well taken care of and when they are injured the players have to suffer it alone or take it to their clubs to treat them while which makes them no to give their all to ensure they have a good result.

The NFF do not pay the players bonuses some times they owe them but the players still manage to play because they are proud to represent their country, if an experience president is made the NFF president a lot will change in the team but for me those in the office is playing games with the Nigerian football.

Even the attacking players we have are not creative enough such that if the midfield doesn’t function properly, the forward players finds it difficult to create chances. Creative midfielders are lacking in the team, right now Alex Iwobi seem to be the only midfielder who creates chances in that team and that’s why he doesn’t miss out on getting called up for the national team. Most of the midfielders are defensive midfielders playing dip and back passes without trying to move the ball forward.

I don't know why most of our players don't put in zeal in playing for their country and you will see them performing more better when they are playing for their clubs, could the influence of reputation or money determining how well we should perform?

Let's take for instance Victor Osimhen, you can't see him performing less even in his own country and when he is playing for his club, because it has always been part of his attitude to perform better regardless of the condition, but I don't think the same motivation is what we can see from other players in this manner, I'm afraid they cannot even boast on their outstanding performance in the absence of Victor Osimhen in their team.
If you are part of the Super Eagles team would you put in zeal in playing for your country when your wages aren't always paid at as when due? The Super Eagles players knows that the NFF are jokers they don't want the progress of the Super Eagles so they put on performance that suit what the NFF demand from them. The Super Eagles team is built around Victor Osimhen without him the Super Eagles will struggle to win a match, and I think Victor Osimhen plays with his best for the Super Eagles because he loves his national team and he just want to help his team win matches.

I am judging the tesm based on their present games. For sometime now there have been no reports of non payment of wages in the Super Eagles camp. I might be wrong but we didn't hear there they were not paid for the game of the Afcon qualifiers. From my observationthe team is just weak. You are also right that players don't give their best because the poor treatment they get from the NFF. In some countries ex national team footballers enjoy health insurance and receive pension for life. This is not the case the Nigerian Football body.  This might be demotivating players.

It is not like it just happened but the country has a way to dampen a player's zeal and zest. Think about all the super brilliant and talented young players we used to watch many years ago and how they'd play their hearts out for the national team, only to be owed their allowance, they may have to even foot their own bills which should have been legitimately the choice of the NFF. Now compare that with their clubs and tell me what you think. If you were in their shoes which will you give the most loyalty to?
Is it really about the money? Because some national teams don’t pay players wages at all, only bonuses. I understand if the players frustration is with the lack of standard training facilities, healthcare, accommodation, and logistics. I believe if all that is settled, there will be less complaints from players about the national team. IMO, the players are angry because they know the money has been allocated and someone or people are sitting on it.

You cannot totally blame the super eagles players if you perceive that they are not playing their very best games while playing for their country, if they get injured while playing for the super eagles it can affect their club careers where they are sure of their welfare. If anything happens to them at their club level either injury or losing form I don't think that there is anything that NFF can do for them so their club commitments comes first before their fatherland and you cannot blame them. NFF officials are politicians and we know that most of our politicians are more interested about stealing money and not caring about the work that they are supposed to do, the high level of corruption in Nigerian ministries is what is happening in NFF.

Super eagles issues has gone beyond wages and besides if it was the problem how come Victor Osimhen always goes a high length to make sure super eagles always win in there games?, actually if this is really the Case i don't think he would have made himself this important on the national team, although is true that the players are not always happy with the way they treat their wages but they usually don't perform based on the money they are owing them, I think we are the ones that has been using the wages to make excuse for them regarding why they are losing form every season, however I believe that before they finished this league at hand they are going to pay them since is another body that would be handling them at the moment.

You have a point mate, NFF is the enemy of nigeria football, those guys are junkies, what's the money allocated for the country meant for, it is unfortunate that we have dummies as the members of NFF, although if I'm among the players I will say my mind mind, I know their have been complaints of such.
I think the NFF doesn't care about what happens, cause they know that nothing will happen to them, after all their master is the president of Nigeria so who'll question them, I'm not expecting any improved performance from the super eagle at the moment for many reasons, ibrseeve my comment on Osimhen.

Nff is just a name that brings them together, but what we should fight is the corruption and the way majority of the Nigerian citizens have a negative mindset towards what should be done in a proper way, once you can't join their cligue they know you already turned their enemy.

Corruption is what is found in many sectors of the economy if you check well, I don't think there is any sector that does not have corrupt people because everything runs down from the mindset and mentality and average Nigerian citizen go have to operate under pretense in order to achieve their personal goal, this will definitely affect the football performance and the players will not be comfortable with their kind of policy in this manner when they know the benefits they stand to get from other international opportunities.

You can see the drop of form from even these U17 players. Nigeria used to have the best U17 players because we used to win the U17 World Cup more than any other countries because that time, the players still believe that they can go further is they do better, and the management do scout the best of players that time to represent the country, and from the team, we do have some good players which some of them are still in the national team. Osimhen comes through there, Kelechi Ehenacho also, and other players.

Now all these are not happening, the management don’t do their job well in scouting players, they only bring players with connection, that is why the spirit is not there anymore because these players will do their best, but some people will be sitting in their office and be taking what belongs to them.

That's why I'll always blame NFF first before the players or coaches cause the poor performance affect all the teams including male and female national team, it's not a coincidence but a sign that NFF isn't taking their job seriously and it's affecting the players. See how the super falcons struggled to qualify from the group stage, something that's not happened in many years.

I see people blaming the players and coaches but i think all the blames should be channeled to the NFF, infact the players needs to speak up so they’ll support of spectators and force NFF to be reformed.

Nothing dey work in Nigeria again. I could remember in 2009 when the U-17 male team was strong but today in fact I can't really remember when last I heard their name in the football section either in the continent or the world space. Even in social media platforms. None of the Nigeria football teams are mentioned again and everywhere is just quiet. From my observation what is happening to the NFF is not only about football but the leadership issue.

From the president and his policies in the country. When things are working well things will be revive. The last time we really enjoyed football sports in the country was the time Goodluck was the president.

I disagree with you on the very first statement you made above, because indeed "Decamping" from one political party to APC is currently active and working in our country, and likewise constant embezzling of public funds is working in this country. But however, on a serious note, it's truly sad that we have a president who after winning the first election, his second move was how to re-strategize on how to win his second election in a do-or-die affair while neglecting all key important sectors like football, which has always been the only thing that unites the entire country irrespective of tribe and religion. Secondly, another thing that has killed our U-17 football is the politics that NFF has allowed in it, whereby instead of picking the best player, politicians now dictate that their children or family members should be put on the field to play rather than choosing the best players. However, until we have a government that is able to priotize competence rather than familiarity, our U-17 will start performing better like before.

The NFF determines how the super eagles and the super falcons will be , including every small league. If the NFF is not doing well it is impossible for the players or the Coaches to be doing well. For now i think it will be good if their can be commission that can combat irregularities in the NFF and which the NFF will give accountability to. This will help the NFF to do things the right way, it seems nobody holds them accountable for anything that is why things are not going well the waybit is supposed to be.

Did anybody watch today's match between our U17 Nigerian team vs Ivory Coast that was playes around 5pm today? Because I just Googled the score now and noticed that our boys ended up drawing the game at 1-1, despite losing their first match against Niger Republic on wednesday with 2 goals to 1. And this simply means that our Golden Eaglets, which is our U17 players have been disqualified and willl miss to play in the forthcoming U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) to be held in Morocco, and likewise the forthcoming U17 world cup too. And this is a very big shame to our country that we will not be playing in the forthcoming U17 AFCON.

Well, are you doing too much and I’m just reading it here for the first time. In my estimation, I would not say this is a shame. I would say that this should be a wake up call for the Nigerian football Federation. There’s so much to be done. I remember the Golden Eaglets, in the past was where the likes of Victor Osimhen came out from. I strongly believe that we have very great potential in these youngsters, it’s just that the leadership keeps making it seem as if they are not good enough. I’ll continue to remain optimistic that very soon things will change and our boys would shine on the global stage as they used to be.
