Look how all our Nigerian superstars are having a good time at their clubs, but when they come for international duty, it will be a bad result.
Awoniyi scored for Coventry yesterday, Tolu also scored for Ajax, Osimhen as usual always scoring/ Josh Mbeumo scoring for Le Havre this week.
Nigeria have quality players. I don't know how they keep messing up when they come home.
Truth be told, our Nigerian Football Federation is poorly managed, and likewise they lack the substantial financial capabilities to be able to run its affairs without compromise. Because if I'm not mistaken, I could remember one time one of our Super Eagle players was complaining of he using his own money to book hotel when they were to play an away match in a different country, of which we all know that this would have been the responsibility of the Nigerian Football Federation. And we all know that things like this can demoralize players from giving their best when its not been appreciated by both the goverment and its organizing agencies.

I guess you are referring to John Mikel Obi because he was the one who made that claim even though Samson Siasia disputed the part of him paying for flights but paid for accommodation and feeding. Whichever one he paid for it was really embarrassing to hear that because Alex Iwobi also said that most of the players do book flights for international duties with their own money which isn't supposed to be so. The NFF really needs to be sanitised because their is a lot of bad people in there that doesn't want the progress of the team that is why they always deny them the enabling environment to feel comfortable to that they can be able to divert funds to their personal wallets.

I hope we will all agree with me that if there is going to be a checkup on every system or setup under the government, we are going to discover a lot of abnormalities going on, and this could be so disheartening, that is where sometimes we may even choose to stay put without interfering to some affairs because we won't be pleased at what we are going to discover along the line, I don't know if I am to blame the generation or the kind of mentality people have over doing the wrong thing than going for the right one.

After the end SARS killings everybody is playing safe in Nigeria, when it comes to protest matters, nobody wants to die or be arrested for a cause that doesn't directly concern them and I don't think that a lot of football lovers will come out to protest about football matters. Numbers counts when there is a protest in a country, if after a lot of hypes about a protest and on protest day you see a few people on ground to protest live it wouldn't drive home their demands, it is mainly the organizers of protests that ends up hitting the streets to protest, many affected Nigerians will just relax. The worst of the matter is that our corrupt politicians and officials doesn't care about protests, the level of corruption in the country have given these criminals audacity to do what they like because they believe that nothing will happen to them.
I don’t really see the need for Nigerians to fear simply because the end SARS protest didn’t go as planned, if you even check well the end SARS protest actually sent a clear message to the government, it made them very scared to know that Nigerians could wake up one day and fight for the truth, this Nigerian government are not ready to do the right thing both in sports, education, security and the economy, every Nigerian is feeling the hardship in different sectors, are Nigerians really getting the best of life? So why are they afraid to come out and speak out.

No country changes without a protest and revolution, check most great countries of the world, they one time in the past had a protest, revolution or war, you can’t defeat a strong man without some form of pressure, to me any sector that isn’t getting good welfare from the government should stand up and speak out, i believe that with constant pressure the government will definitely do the right thing one day.
That's true; no country changes without protests and revolution, but in our country, I don't think it will actually work because of the different religions and tribe we have in the country, people not believing and accepting the same motion to make the country better without bring tribe into it.

Let me put it to you that religion and tribe differences are what are killing our country up to today. If Nigerians can learn to do away with those things, I promise you that our country will be a better place because people will have one mind to bring down any government that is not working in people's favor without being sentimental about tribe and religion

Can you imagine? Because it's really embarrassing hearing that our player will have to book his flight with his own money, pay for hotel accommodations, including feeding just to play an away match while representing the country. Whereas all these were supposed to be paid for by the Nigerian Football Federation. And these are the kind of poor welfare that discourages players from not giving their best while playing a game, because moreover they already know that they are the ones to pay back their flight home without any financial assistance by the Federation. So until our football Federation get things right that the welfare of players is one thing that could never be overemphasized. It will always be hard seeing these guys giving out their best. And the funny part is that government is not doing anything about it, or either ready to do anything.

And on top of that you’ll still find out that this players are being owed about 3 months salaries and other match bonuses. Several case of players not being paid their match allowance or salary have been reported and one keep wondering why the Federation won’t pay their players their bonuses not that the money isn’t there, they have the resources needed to make this players comfortable to enable them perform really well and build a strong national team capable of winning the World Cup, but they won’t do it because of their personal gains.

I'm surprised that somebody who is living in Nigeria is bringing an opinion on protests. Protests have never worked and fixed anything in Nigeria, it is better not to bring people to disturb the streets for no reason, Nigeria is playing a dirty game, same with the NFF.
You have just simply put it. There's not been any period where protests have worked for us. It has always been politicized and lacks result. Anyone who goes out there saying they are protesting for one thing or the other are just wasting their time to me and do not have any solution to offer. Or are simply being used as political tool to drive people's attention away from the main course. What's happening in NFF is something which needs to be addressed internally by the powers at the top or the authorities never by any form of protesting or kangaroo agitations.
