It looks like something totally else than others. Clearly not Beby, Softswiss, Betraden or Altenar, but what then???

Yeah, I noticed 2up tends to have better odds for underdogs of sports events than the other betting sites I'm familiar with.
I'm pretty ignorant on what are the industry standards, but I wouldn't be surprised if they used some sort of hybrid model, when they use 3rd party odds and modify them at will according to their needs.
Odds will probably also be affected by the volume of bets and distribution for which outcome, i.e. if there are too much wagered on a certain outcome, they could be forced to adjust odds to mitigate liquidity risk etc.

As I stated, being a fan and being a gambler are two separate things, it depends on the person whether they will see it as compensation but I would not.  My favorite team winning is a good thing but me losing a huge amount of money is not, and I will not think that my favorite team winning is a consolation for losing a huge amount of money.  Personal financial huge  loss is way heavier than my favorite team winning, to consider that as good consolation for my losses.

All of us gamblers, when we bet and win, we will definitely be happy. It seems like it's rare that you won't be happy despite having already won, right? Then that's really the situation

I think the reason from a personal standpoint is that, in sports bet, it is easy to see how large your winnings will be if your bet amount is big. This is my thinking though from a personal perspective.
