Stability over speed is always important. Some times the cpu can be a bottleneck if your running more than one card.
Hi,what's the v2.1's improvement?

If it were me I would not have released the GPU miner until I was well mined up with XPMs over time.

To have an edge like a primecoin GPU miner is golden. Get some hardware to mine with and optimize it for that type of GPU and bam....mega profits.

Then down the road release it and possibly charge people or just open source it so others can keep the mining momentum going.

Right, and you belive he didnt mine with it long time before public release?
And you belive he hasn't more optimized version for himself?

In view of the difficulty, I would say those miners existed for a pretty long time and got only released when it become less profitable for them to mine...

Actually the difficulty shoots up only recently, with the mass usage of GPU miners. XPM price has been quite stagnant, even now.. but I must say it was brilliant for primeGPU to sell his miner using XPM.. that might have helped to push up the price a little bit as ppl went to exchange to buy XPM.

And for those that are interested this works with ATI 7990 graphics cards Smiley

I am running with i7-990x cpu and plenty of RAM . 2 x ATI 7990s (MSI brand) at default clock settings on 13.12 drivers. No Crossfire.

I tweaked a little and I've found this worked best for me

Bat files..:
NsXpmMiner.exe -o ypool.net -u user.worker -p ** -di 0 -t 8 -hc 256
NsXpmMiner.exe -o ypool.net -u user.worker -p ** -di 1 -t 8 -hc 256
NsXpmMiner.exe -o ypool.net -u user.worker -p ** -di 2 -t 8 -hc 256
NsXpmMiner.exe -o ypool.net -u user.worker -p ** -di 3 -t 8 -hc 256

Have you tried "-hc 320"? Must be a bit faster. Also may be "-hc 512" for 2-3 cards and "-hc 256" or "-hc 320" for the rest.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

I tried 512 and that seemed to fail completely. I've got one at 364 and the rest on 256. I'll let them mine for a day and see the difference in results.

Not realy sure that xpm is the most profitable coin out there anymore since recently multipools are getting 0,008BTC/Mh/day wich is about twice as much what i get from xpm. Can someone confirm that?
@Claymore : Maybe you should release that speedup version a little sooner so we can stay in the game?

HI guyz. On my 280x dual-x get 109k 4ch with 1020/1500 TRT 410-420 variable.
280x vapor-x 118k 4ch 1120/1550 TRT 375-390 variable.
280x toxic  122k 4ch 1180/1600 360-375 variable.
I think everything is good. Can I drop the memlock. What will be the change of performance ?!

You can drop it litle bit, but not needed, less oc means more stable running!
Your numbers looks ok, no reason to stress it more, unless you are oc maniac!
Happy mining
