this would be good and put solo mining back on track... i feel you still have room to optimize for multi-gpu or multi-core gpus...

Hello Claymore. Thanks for the speedup. I have one question. Do you planning to add temp target setting in your miner with auto fan option? i have one card on my rig which is a little bit crazy. around 15 C is hotter than others. with msi afterburner i can adjust fan control but for all cards and separately not. All my fans is at 80% cause of that one crazy card. Thanks

Yes. Also I plan multigpu support.

Try user defined software automatic fan control mode.

There're open source miners now. Perhaps someone is going to code something for older cards soon.

Seems like MEM frequency doesn't matter on v8 miner. TRT on 1500Mhz is 113, on 700Mhz the same 113 on R9 290x.
GPUs are a bit colder with low MEM.

Been runnig a R9 280x for 23 hours now. CPD is 4.6375 and I have found 8 10ch but my max difficulty has stayed at 10.770764 since the 3rd 10ch I have found.

Using an Intel Xeon L5520 here is my bat: NsXpmMiner.exe -o localhost:7332 -u YourLogin -p YourPassword -xpm "my wallet address" -di 0 Using version 8.0 solo.

Anything I might be able to change or add?

hello everybody , i have catalyst 14.12 and i have downloaded claymore , in the .bat file i set up all good and i start mining , with 7950 when i start it's complaining about a lot of thing i don't undertsand and it start mining , i see 0.7 cpd in estimated , i don't know where i have to write cpu_max_alloc_percent cause i was using linux before , could someone tell me what's the problem ?

If you read the readme!!!.txt you must see:

Catalyst 13.12 is highly recommended for best performance and compatibility!

in your *.bat write like this:


setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
NsXpmMiner.exe -o ypool.net -u USERNAME -p YOURPASSWORD



try also add parametrs to miner string  "-ss 3" or "-ss2"

Works with all GCN cards. It will work on that 7790, but not very fast.

I`m using 14.4 catalyst, and without problem. everything is working like a charm. I am using a week or more...

i 'm back using 13.12 now but warning keep shiwing in start , something like  "linking 2 modules of different target triples , i don't know what is that
now i'm with 3 7950 cards , they are showing like 1.3 cpd each one , with a config -ss 2 and each bat has his own address . is it good or bad ??

So I have found a total of twenty 10ch but only 1 block. 2 of my cards have been stuck at the same max diff for over 15 hours now after finding more than four 10ch each.

I just am just curios if I am wasting my time so I can move on to something else if needed.
