The Rafael Leão transfer has been going on for weeks and there's still no result. They're probably still negotiating the price. I see the same news every week now, and I think this transfer won't happen. If it were going to happen, it would have been done by now. They're just constantly repeating the same news for clicks. They're still saying a preliminary agreement has been reached, but as I said, I don't have much hope for this transfer anymore.

From what i understand, the Milanese environment is quite divided between those who would like Leao to stay and those who would like him to leave. Because he is a player with unquestionable qualities but who he doesn't know how to make the most of or doesn't want to make the most of. This thing weighed too heavily and also led the player to evaluate possible alternatives which, however, are not coming forward at the moment.

I believe Fenerbahçe's squad quality is sufficient to handle the demands of both the Champions League and the domestic league.
There is also the fact that Galatasaray, Beşiktaş, and Trabzonspor—Fenerbahçe's rivals for the title—will be competing in Europe as well. Apart from these four teams, there are no other contenders for the championship.
They need to structure their squad at the start of the season with these factors in mind.
This year, for the first time, Fenerbahçe has put together a proper squad plan. As it stands, the team is ready for both the league and the Champions League. I am curious to see what kind of football they will play in the match against Samsunspor.

Of course, teams participating in the Champions League or other European competitions have a more difficult schedule, players get more tired, and they focus more on European matches than league games. Both technically and physically, European matches can be quite challenging. Sometimes, European matches follow the most important league games of the season, and in recent years we've seen teams lose points in league matches because of this.
Nevertheless, it's great that Fenerbahçe will be back in the Champions League; the team's motivation must be very high

Milan announced they would be letting him go, and he himself had stated his departure from the club. Perhaps Galatasaray executives are waiting for the European transfer window to close and for their negotiating position to strengthen in September.

I have a lot of respect for Galatasaray as a team, but for Rafa Leao, moving from seven years at Milan to Galatasaray and the Turkish league is a big step backward. I understand Momo Salah’s decision, at 34, he’s taking the last major contract of his career, and that’s fine, but Leão could still have a lot to offer in the top European leagues, and honestly, even Aston Villa isn’t exactly a top-tier team. The guy has probably lost the fire that drives a player’s performance and is content with lucrative contracts; if that’s the case, he might as well go to Saudi Arabia.

Big congrats to Fenerbahce for breaking the curse of Uefa Champions League as they have been missing for 17 years, now though thanks to a wonderful performance outside home they won against Lyon now they will be playing group stages again. It looks like all teams from Turkey so far did very well, the only one who remain with a big question mark is Trabzonspor who complicated their life by losing their first game in their home against a much weaker team and a team with lower budget. They are still the favorite today to win against Ferencavaros though they have to be much more cynical in front of the goal as they missed a lot of opportunities in the first game, whatever happen to them it is a good year so far for Turkish football.

Rafael Leao is a player that should bring great impact to Amorim's team, especially after his performance in the World Cup. It's still shocking to me that AC Milan have him up for sale this season, and not even strong interest from one of the top European clubs, but the Turkish league.

Real Madrid showed inconsistent interest in him but never sent out any official bidding, Arsenal was likely a stronger option than the latter but that did not also pull through, now the Turkish side should seal this deal before the close of the transfer window, Leao is a good player that any team should be happy to have.

The chances of Trabzon winning a trophy in any European competition are extremely slim. We see this even in the Europa League playoffs. They've only just started to make a name for themselves in the Super League in recent seasons, and they aren't strong enough to compete on both fronts at the same time. In fact, we can say that no team in the Super League can pull this off.

Whether Trabzonspor can win some European trophies is complicated but not impossible. And in any case, more than a European tournament, i see it very well as a possible team that can really aim for the Turkish championship and in addition to annoying its direct opponents, it could really try to make history.

I join you to congratulate Fenerbahçe because when they played draw in the first leg they faced backlash because people were afraid they will lose at the home ground of Lyon but impressively, they made it through by winning that match. Beşiktaş is another Turkish team that qualified for the next round even though they lost their match today by 1:0 against the team Kauno Zalgiris but their first leg massive 3:0 when gave them a huge advantage. Trabzonspor of course is the weakest among the Turkish teams in the European qualifiers, they lost to Ferencvaros by 1:0 in the first leg and today they are losing 2:0 and the match is still live in the second half, so there is no hope for them as today will mark the end of their journey in the European qualification round.

In their current match, Trabzonspor received two red cards and are 3-0 down. Their promotion to the Conference League is almost guaranteed. They are playing with nine men. Onana also received a yellow card and is provoking the referee, the referee could have sent him off. A big defeat is coming, and Trabzonspor has 30 minutes left. Hopefully, they won't concede any more goals in the remaining minutes. They are trying to play well in the Turkish league as well, but the players will need to control themselves during the match. In their first match, Trabzonspor also received a red card in the final minutes. The Conference League seems easier for Trabzonspor considering their quality, and I think they can finish in the top eight in the Conference League.

Fenerbahce have two most difficult home & away games to play in. Home games against Liverpool and Roma & away matches against Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa, out of the 8 teams they will face in the league phase, if they can get a good score from any of the four teams mentioned, they can survivnly work up the table, and play against weaker teams in the two legged knockout phase.

Galatasaray also have their own strong opponents, they will face  the defending champions, I still imagine a better chance for them to scale through, I'm happy that not only Galatasaray will be representing the Turkish League like last time.

You probably haven't been following things very closely, my friend. First of all, Fenerbahçe has qualified for the Champions League after an 18-year hiatus.
Secondly, there is no such thing as a "group stage" anymore; it is a direct league phase.
The draw took place yesterday; we could say Fenerbahçe got a slightly more favorable draw than Galatasaray, but matches aren't won before they're played.

Honestly I think he shouldn't act with his emotions at the moment. I believe he is a great manager for this team. Just one sad loss shouldn't lead him to do this.

The Trabzospor management deserves some accolades for quickly spotting that the decision was based on emotions following the annihilating loss in the Europa League and rejected the resignation offer. I believe Fatih Tekke must have gone crazy during the post match briefing. It's normal in football to loose even though it's a disgraceful one. The Trabzospor management has also assured him that they're solidly behind him and that he should keep up the season. For me the coach is a good leader, taking responsibilities for the loss, despite recieving 2 red cards in the game. How else would a team who are 2 men down, win this competitive fixture. Trabzospor has made good signings and it's better he remains to make use of the players he has signed.

My concern is Onana, and their defence. In a game where Trabzospor has struggled to get 2 shots on target against the six from the Ferencvairos, they still keep the possession up to 76% which is why they didn't concede more goals. Onana is not a good keeper conceding 4 goals out of 6 shots on target. I hope they start benching Onana for their own good.

Göztepe played great football and had a successful run last year, but they haven't started this season well.
I don't think Çorum FK will pull off an upset.
Galatasaray will win comfortably—and likely by a wide margin.

Salah has had a good start to the season and seems to have adapted to the team quickly. The Turkish Super League isn't a tough league; he'll easily adapt and could become the league's top scorer. If the other players at Trabzonspor also perform well, I'm sure Salah will finish the season with over 20 goals.
I think we'll see a competition between Osimhen, Salah, and Greenwood; all three have had a very good start to the season

The Turkish Super Lig is not a difficult championship, but this year, due to the transfers made by the various main teams in the championship, it can be said that it has become a little more fascinating. Like the purchases made by Fenerbahçe who changed the team, by Trabzonspor or by Besiktas...

I was particularly curious on how this game would turn out, given how eventually matched both teams were and the fact that, they played a 1:1 draw in their first leg at Fenerbahce, to expect that Fenerbahce would come to the lique 1 and win was doubtful but, that’s precisely what they did. Scoring way early in the first half, taking the lead twice and though they conceded a goal later on into the second half, they were able to hold on to their edge in the game.

Lyon was unlucky with those offside calls but, I feel the VAR were particularly right on those calls.
