Galatasaray suffered a crushing defeat in their first loss of the season. While Trabzonspor played quite well, I didn’t see any team play from Galatasaray. Galatasaray’s performance was particularly lacking on defense. There were huge gaps in their defense on every goal they conceded, and Trabzonspor took full advantage of that.

I don’t know what else needs to happen for the management to realize their failure in the transfer market. The team isn’t ready for either the Super League or the Champions League. Trabzonspor is a team in good form, but such a crushing defeat is unacceptable.

There's almost no chance of closing this gap now. Trabzonspor wants to score more goals and achieve one of their historic victories against Galatasaray. Mohamed Salah is currently putting on a show for Trabzonspor. He scored two goals and provided one assist, contributing to all three. Trabzonspor perhaps made their best transfer of the year by signing him. Despite his age, he's still playing magnificently. Even those who were initially skeptical are now saying Trabzonspor did well to sign Salah.

When a team has won so much they become reluctant. Galatasaray can’t be winning all seasons, they have to understand that they are not untouchable in the league. They can’t be playing any how  they want and think they will end up winning the league. Other clubs are building up rapidly to make sure they dethrone Galatasaray.

As for the Barcelona match, there is nothing Galatasaray will do to escape losing that match. We have all accepted that Galatasaray will lose but the number goals they will lose with is the only thing that is unknown at this point.

you can't win a championship with wingers like that. they don't press up front, they don't track back and they offer zero end product.

Everything was just wrong in this game, I couldn't believe my eyes that Galatasaray was losing that way, the way they played was just really not the way of champions. I really think they are missing the presence of Osimhen and Lamina but I still expect a better performance from the players. Sometimes these players won't be available and they will need to take charge.

It usually gets difficult for a team when the wingers are not productive and offering much up front. Most teams doing better across Europe usually have one or two deadly wingers that makes the work easy for the team. Most top teams have good wingers that's why they easily stand out.

They conceded four goals, scored none, and as if that weren't bad enough received a red card. It was a nightmare of a game for Galatasaray; looking at how Trabzonspor’s goals were scored, it is clear that the Galatasaray defense made numerous errors. The primary mistake was pushing too far upfield and neglecting their own defensive duties as seen, for instance, in the first goal they conceded:

A series of further mistakes followed, leading to more goals, but what really caught my attention was that Salah scored his fourth goal in exactly the same way he scored his first. Honestly, seeing it made me wonder: " What exactly are those Galatasaray defenders doing hanging around the Trabzonspor goalkeeper's area? "



Once again, Salah ran a long distance across the pitch without encountering any Galatasaray players in his path and scored. The same mistake happened twice it was very strange. It looked as though all the Galatasaray players were competing to see who could score the most goals in the match, to the point where the defenders forgot their own positions. In any case, with this defeat, Galatasaray risks losing the top spot.

I’m happy Galatasaray was demolished by Trabzonspor, Galatasaray have been too comfortable in the Super League and that was never good for the healthy competition in the League, now teams like Fenerbahçe is also playing Champions League and they’re as well going to Challenge Galatasaray, Besiktas is also playing well they will definitely be Challenging Galatasaray, now there is a competition in the League, Galatasaray isn’t going to feel comfortable anymore because there is a competitive rivalry in the League now, Trabzonspor beating them and scoring 4 goals is a big result for Trabzonspor is a statement win for them and other teams should also learn from them and challenge Galatasaray.

However Mohammed Salah was the Architect of the victory, after scoring a hat-rick means he isn’t finished like people was saying in the Premier League, don’t just give an inform Mohamed Salah that opportunity to run at your defense, Salah doesn’t play with this chances when he is playing with all his heart and Strength, if he gets those opportunities and converts them then he is still doing what his been doing in the Premier League, Mohammed Salah have made a statement in the Turkish League and that is quite good.

In as much as I know that Galatasaray can’t win this match against Trabzonspor, I’m a bit shocked to see the manner in which they’ve been humiliated by Trabzonspor. I knew this was going to be a very difficult game for Galatasaray as they will struggle to contain the pressure from trabzonspor who are playing at home and with the desire to compete for the league title this season. It’s really a big win for Trabzonspor, they took their chances as I’ve expected them to.

I believe this should serve as a wake up call for Galaterssary to prepare themselves fully against Barcelona in the champions league. Galaterssary are more stronger at home and that is one advantage they could get in this fixture against Barcelona, it’s not always easy coming to Galaterssary and get a win or score a lot of goals so I’m anticipating a very tight encounter between both teams. Hopefully before then Victor Osimehn would be back into the team to give the team more intensity.

This is just their first loss of the season in the Super Lig and they went losing 4-0, it was indeed a humiliating result. Galatasaray didn't play badly just that they didn't target their shot to the goal post, although Trabzonspor isn't an easy side they have even strengthen their team more by signing Mo Salah who scored a hat trick today against Galatasaray. I still believe in Galatasaray, the Super Lig tittle is still there's but victor Osimhen needed a quick recovery from his injury before it gets late, i believe if he was in todays game he would have made the score line not look so bad. Barcelona is also a good team i think they can win Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions league.

We saw that Victor Osimhen is everything for Galatasaray. Salah is a magnificent player, and with 3 goals and 1 assist for Trabzonspor, he played one of his best games of the year. His excellent performance, especially against Galatasaray, showed us once again how good a player he is. Trabzonspor achieved an easy victory at home against a tough and strong team like Galatasaray. Another team that was as pleased with this was Fenerbahçe, because in a season where Fenerbahçe started with points losses, Galatasaray's points loss was something they expected.

Since victor Osimhen got his injury in their game with Istanbul on the 4th of this month Galatasaray has suffered 2 defeat out of 3 games played and won 1, they lost 3-1 against Sporting CP in the UEFA Champions league, won 1-0 against kocaelispul and a heavy defeat against Trabzonspor yesterday scoring only 2 goals and conceding 7 goals.

I think Victor Osimhen injury has really affected the team performance, this shows that Galatasaray can't do too well with out Victor Osimhen, secondly Osimhen will need to come back fast now that he has a competitor in the Super Lig who is the person of Mo Salah for the league top goal scorer.

Salah is one of the best. A year ago, I kept saying he deserved Ballon d'Or, but Dembele won it instead. Trabzonspor is lucky to have him in their squad, but I'm not thrilled that they managed to beat Galatasaray this time. I think that's only because Osimhen wasn't playing. Had he been on the field, the match could have turned out differently.

Situations like that don't happen in the Premier League. Even if they did, Salah wouldn't be able to make a sprint like the one he did for the second goal. Players in the Premier League run a lot during matches, whereas the Turkish league is different. Salah is able to make that sprint for the fourth goal because he had engaged in plenty of "active recovery" on the pitch leading up to that moment.
Thomas Reis substituted him off after his third goal to give him a chance to be applauded. Had he stayed on, he might well have found a similar opportunity and scored a fourth goal. In terms of quality and difficulty, the Turkish league is far below the Premier League.
If Salah had stayed at Liverpool this year, would he have been able to contribute to the scoreline to the same extent?

It was a shocking defeat though I think we all knew they had bad defense, Trabzonspor just exposed and utilised it to their advantage. A new center back or defensive midfielder is needed. As for the wingers, they just need to up their game.

Mo Salah exploited these errors to get his first hattrick of the season, what a game it was for him while Rafael Leao and Sane were left wondering what happened.
This goes to prove that Victor Osimhen brings more than goal scoring to this Galatasaray side.

I also said recently that Galatasaray has not been impressive in the games I've watched them play. I wasn't expecting them to lose so badly yesterday. I didn't watch the whole game, by the time I tuned in, they were already losing 3-0. I've watched three Gala games, and it's obvious to see they are not at their usual top level yet, even though they have been winning.
Besikas has been the more entertaining team, and they might top the league today if they win against Amedspor.
I think when Osimhen comes back from injury, Gala might play better because they have been struggling with scoring goals since he got injured.

Mo Salah’s brilliance remains as impressive as it was during his time at Liverpool under Jürgen Klopp. He proved it once again against Galatasaray yesterday, where he scored a hat trick and even provided one assist. The two goals scored by Mo Salah also demonstrate that he remains a formidable threat to any goalkeeper facing him directly. I personally think that Trabzonspor is very fortunate to have Mo Salah on their first-team roster. And they seem to place a great deal of trust in him up front given how often they try to get the ball to him. The counterattacks in that match also showed that they have complete faith in Mo Salah to make solo runs to create goals. Galatasaray which has long dominated the Turkish Super League seems poised to be dethroned if Trabzonspor continues to improve or even maintains the consistency needed to deliver their best performance in the many matches ahead. I think a resounding victory over Galatasaray will boost their confidence for the next match. And I have no doubt that Trabzonspor whose chemistry is becoming increasingly evident will defeat Samsunspor in Round 7 with the same performance as before or even better.

Galatasaray conceded four goals against the "Claret-Blue" team. On October 13, they will face the Spanish "Claret-Blue" side—an even greater threat. Eyüpspor is being humiliated, definitely I sense relegation if they continue in this bad form. It's 6-0 now in just few minutes to second half, Fenerbahce are having their best time. It now seem like a training ground, I won't be surprised if we see up to 10 goals scored in this game.

It's a good way to head to the international break. If Besiktas wins their game later on they'd be ahead of Galatasaray which now makes the league very much interesting since they are all not far away from each other. I hope this is Fenerbahce's response to what happened to them earlier, I hope they do continue this form from this win today.

Trabzonspor played exactly as it needed to against Galatasaray. They met their opponent in midfield, applied pressure high up the field at times, and launched quick counterattacks.

As for my criticisms of Galatasaray. Uğurcan cannot be this team’s starting goalkeeper. Without Osimhen, the team falls short on offense. They shouldn’t have alienated a player like İlkay. The midfield has lost its strength, and Torrerira is left on his own. There’s a lack of commitment among the center backs. While we’ve been seeing the consequences of these shortcomings bit by bit in every game, in this match we saw them all at once. The team’s biggest weakness, however, is Osimhen. Without Osimhen, Galatasaray simply can’t play that’s the reality of the situation.

Muriqi practically padded his stats in the race for the top scorer title he scored half of those goals himself. There isn't a single consistent team in the league right now. Even though Galatasaray is currently the leader, I think it’s going to be a bad season for them the loss to Trabzonspor showed they are already on the decline and revealed just how fragile they truly are.

I expected the match to be tough but conceding 2 goals in the first half was a big disappointment. The team looks so tired after Marseille match. They couldn't maintain the tempo. Both goals came from outside the box following individual mistakes. Amed played the right way in the first half.

Poku started in the 11 for the first time but he was terrible. Rıdvan, Salih and Orkun were ineffective. Vlahovic couldn't get any of the passes he wanted. At half time, Italiano made 3 changes at once. I hope these changes will have a positive impact on the game and we'll see a different performance in the second half.

I have to say that even if Beşiktaş lose this match, it would be acceptable. Many teams won't be able to pick up any points in this though away game.

Fenerbahçe got a very comfortable win at home and beat their weaker opponents 8-0.
They made the most of the week in which Galatasaray dropped points and reduced the gap to three points.

Beşiktaş are currently losing 3-1 away to Amed, with just minutes left in the match, with this loss Beşiktaş have reduced the points gap between themselves and Fenerbahçe to two points.
