I expected the match to be tough but conceding 2 goals in the first half was a big disappointment. The team looks so tired after Marseille match. They couldn't maintain the tempo. Both goals came from outside the box following individual mistakes. Amed played the right way in the first half.

It could be that Besiktas players suffered fatigue from the Europa League match they won against Marseille. As we can see their tempo is very low, no fighting spirit, no enthusiasm and the players look tired for real. The match is currently at 3:1 as at the time of writing this, i don't know the score it will finally end but all the same it's obviously a losing match for Besiktas. This week has not really been favourable to all big teams even in other Europe top leagues. Galatasaray lost to Trabzonspor yesterday, though it wasn't much questionable because Trabzonspor has quite some good players to contest against Fenerbahce but this match of Besiktas is where it is a bit surprising because their opponent is not a big team.

Fenerbahçe was the biggest winner of the final matchweek before the international break. Both Galatasaray and we suffered defeats. I knew this away game would be tough following the Marseille match; and indeed, it turned out exactly that way.
We have been defeated twice in just six weeks.
Amedspor entered the international break as the league leader.
Had anyone predicted this at the start of the season, no one would have believed it.
Let me state this clearly: Amedspor has built a very strong team. G. Orban scored again today.
Vlahovic also found the back of the net but couldn't save us from defeat.

Göztepe extended manager Stoilov's contract until 2029 earlier this week; yet today, despite taking a 1-0 lead against Çaykur Rizespor, they fell behind 1-2 before salvaging a 2-2 draw with a penalty goal in the 90+4th minute.
Göztepe has yet to secure a league victory so far. If Göztepe's management were Turkish, Stoilov would likely have been dismissed after the match.
It is also worth noting that the large number of injured players at Göztepe has had a serious negative impact on the team.

Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor are slowly returning to their expected form. Trabzonspor defeated Galatasaray badly in their last match and Fenerbahçe was unbeatable in their last match. These two teams need to be consistent now, they still lack consistency. Besiktas are now in third place after losing points, they had a chance to take the top spot by winning the match, but they failed. The competition will be intense this season, I can see that, now it remains to be seen which teams participate in the title fight.

The problem I have with Turkish clubs especially supposed is that none of them are consistent with their results. Look at Fenerbahçe thrashing Eyüpspor 8-0 when they have dropped points in their last 3 games. They won today probably because Eyüpspor is an all-round bad team.  Besiktas lost today which was disappointing to see.

Does anyone think the form of the big 4 will improve later this season because even Galatasaray is struggling this season with most of their games. the signs were there since they nearly lost at home to a small team.

It’s highly likely they’ll be relegated this season. It looks like it will be a disappointing end for a team that finished its first season in 6th place.

Fenerbahce has being somewhat consistent though against the league defenders from last season but as for Trabzonspor I wouldn't say be in a hurry to exalt their form even with that spectacular defeat against Galatasaray therefore sleeting their unbeaten run for this season.

The president Adalı spoke about the referees after the game, but we shouldn't blame this loss on them. If you concede 3 goals, all due to individual mistakes, it's very hard to come back from that score. The team was generally tired and unmotivated today. Salih probably played his worst game since he arrived. Rıdvan was terrible, I don't understand why he played the full 90 minutes. It would have been better if Ouattara had played. Poku wasted his chance terribly. I think Cerny proved he's still the better choice for right wing.

Italiano could have switched to 2 forward formation sooner. Amed kept getting pulled back into defense and it was very hard to break that lock. Just as the deficit had been cut to 1, Nübel's mistake was unacceptable. If they hadn't conceded that 3rd goal, Beşiktaş might have turned the match around.

In the end Beşiktaş came away without points, but this away game will be tough for other teams as well. Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe might not be able to get 3 points here either. Looking at the league as a whole, I don't see this loss as a huge deal. And lastly, most of Amed's fans are good, but I condemn those who caused disturbances all around the country.

This happens a lot with promoted teams not just in Turkish league. Imo, with all things considered, it is much easier to battle it out in tier 2 and tier 2 leagues and get promoted to the main league than it is to maintain membership of the main league. Today showed that Eyüpspor will probably get relegated. I mean, you only get thrashed 8-0 with no reply if you are having a very bad season.

Eyüpspor has only 3 points from a possible 18. That says a lot.

Beşiktaş's disadvantage in this match was that they came into the game tired, it would be ridiculous to talk about refereeing mistakes in this match because just look at the goals you conceded, if you concede goals because of your own mistakes, you can't make excuses for it.

We have to congratulate Amed FK because they have faced two big teams at home and won both matches, let's see if Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe can pick up points here

Beşiktaş isn’t in the Champions League, but in the Europa League. There, they defeated Marseille, a team forced to field young players due to a transfer ban. I’m not belittling this victory, but I want to touch on the reality of the situation. On the other hand, their opponent today has become the league leader thanks to this win. So, we shouldn’t underestimate them either...

Beşiktaş has tremendous potential, but the team hasn’t yet evolved into the style that Coach Italliano envisions. Italliano wants a team that presses high, runs hard, and seeks quick attacks. Beşiktaş’s current squad isn’t suited for this yet, and in my opinion, some players will never be a good fit. For example, Agbadou is a very good center back, but he’s too slow for a team that presses high. He makes a lot of positional errors. Also, this tactic requires fast wingers, but we don’t have any fast wingers besides İlhan. I’m really curious to see what Italliano will do...

Why are we not talking about Amed that is topping the table. Is this a sign that the Turkish league will take a new turn this season? Because i don't understand how Amed in topping the league in week 6 when there are making big teams that should have taken that position.

Eyüpspor will likely go back to relegation because of their poor performance. How did they conceded that 8 goals to Fenerbahçe, this might likely be the biggest scoreline any team will score in the Turkish Super league this season. Vedat Muriqi scored 4 goals, if not that he was substituted for Lukaku he would have scored more goals. Eyüpspor used to be a very strong team when they were in the second league but as soon as they were promoted to the Super league their performance drastically reduced. If they can concede 16 goals in just 6 games, I wonder how many goals they will concede before the end of the season. Göztepe Izmir is even better because despite that they are in the relegation area but they managed to score 11 goals and conceded 15 goals.

The big four may be showing some inconsistencies in performance, but I do believe their forms will improve as the season progresses. Amed SK may currently be in first place, but I believe it will not remain there for long.

Regarding Galatasaray's performance. Apart from the shocking draw at home to a newly promoted side, which was quite unexpected. The defeat to Trabzonspor does not come as a surprise. Trabzonspor is a big team and one of the title contenders.

Well, too bad for Arne slot too because he lost his job trying to get Salah to leave the team. I'm happy for players like Salah, Greenwood and even Onana. All three players have something in common and that is the fact that they didn't leave their previous teams on happy terms.  I'm very glad that Galatasaray won't just have just have it easy this season.

Mo Salah might not be the same way he came in, I mean when it comes to being explosive and creating chances, but he was pretty good at ome thing, putting the ball inside the net. If he was played close to goal or in a system whereby he benefits scoring goals, he'd had done well with his numbers. But Arne Slot choose to force him out at the same time ended up losing his job. Mind you, the sqaud he benefited from Jurgen Klopp won him the league. Although, he had some inputs of his own style.

Amed played a result-oriented game and achieved the outcome they wanted. Beşiktaş took a more cautious approach, trying to circulate the ball and penetrate the defense, but it didn't pay off. The league has become much more competitive this season; there are plenty of unexpected results, and who knows what else we’ll see.

We need to consider where the person who was their president at that time is now.
As far as I know, he is in custody.
Eyüpspor should have been relegated last year, but they managed to stay in the league thanks to the point they earned in their final match against Fenerbahçe.
They don't have a squad suited for the league, nor do they have a strong budget.
In the coming years, they will likely face periodic relegation, eventually either folding completely or dropping down to the amateur leagues.

You have this problem in any case in any league, at the moment the only consistent team among all the Championships seems to me to be Barcelona.
I've been betting on Turkish teams since Ronaldo came on, I'm getting to know the teams, the players and their style of play, I usually only place my bets on the teams I know (even if it's of little use).
I neglect the minor teams in the league, although it rarely happens that I place a random bet, based only on luck.
It didn't give me much satisfaction though, I like it for the surprise effect.

So the big Galatasaray trashed like a team of second category by a super Salah and a super Trabzonspor team, well surely this was not on my bingo card for the weekend. Fenerbahce won 8-0 with a tennis result and now things look better in the standings as a lot of teams are within just 3 points distance from each other, this time the Turkish Superlig is wide open and I have not seen such standings since a whole lot of time, it means a lot of teams are investing in football and not only the three usual ones.

Fenerbahçe’s performance yesterday was truly insane and left the hapless Eyuspor with no chance; the gap in quality was enormous. It has to be said that having Greenwood in the squad is a real asset for a team like Fenerbahce. Muriqi scored a whopping four goals I don’t think he’s ever managed that many in his entire career. In theory, the team is getting back on track because, given the investment made, it was strange not to see them at least in the Champions League places.
There are high hopes for Amed, who continue to win and yesterday thrashed Besiktas.

The match ended 8–0; consequently, the record remains with the Beşiktaş vs. Adana Demirspor game from years ago, which ended 10–0. I thought the record might be broken when the first half ended 5–0, but Lukaku and Kerem squandered numerous chances in the second half.
Lukaku still lacks match fitness, and at this rate, it seems unlikely he will ever reach that level. He looks incredibly sluggish; he appears as though he is well past retirement age.
As for Fenerbahçe, Muriq scored four goals yesterday. He actually scored a fifth as well, but it was disallowed due to offside.

The Eyüpspor manager resigned after the match, and the club's management accepted the resignation.
No matter who takes over as manager, Eyüpspor will be relegated at the end of the season.

Yesterday was a bad day for us. After the victory over Marseille, we needed to beat Amedspor as well, but it didn't happen.
If this match had been played in Istanbul, we would have won.
Amedspor is a team that plays very well on its home turf; so far, they have defeated both Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş.
Orhan and Diasaba are two very influential players for the team.
Our president made statements after the match, but the fact is, we played poorly. It would be one thing if we had played well and scored, only to have the goals disallowed, but the reality is that we simply played badly.
The international break is here; I hope we can regroup during this time and come back stronger.
Many people—myself included—thought we would take the top spot after this match, but instead, it is Amedspor that now sits at the top of the league.
