It’s clear evident that osimehn is one important player in the galatasaray team. just like you have said it, his absence in the team due to injury has really expose the team to struggle to perform at that top level. I never like to talk about referees, but this season there has been a record number of mistakes made against Beşiktaş in just 6 weeks. Between penalties that were not given, disallowed goals, cards that weren't shown, the number of critical mistakes made against Beşiktaş has been more than double that of their closest rivals.
There have been 2 losses in the league, one against Alanyaspor and the other against Amed SK. Beşiktaş could've won both of those matches. Starting the season 6 for 6 would've scared everyone. That's why I find these obstacles to be normal. We're used to this league being played this way.

Ask anyone and they'll agree that an early red card should've been issued after the slap on Trossard's face in Alanyaspor match. That would've completely changed the course of the game. In the Amed match, 2 penalties for Vlahovic weren't called. That game could've turned out differently as well. Ultimately the team is on the right track but external factors are once again having a major impact. We could've seen a very different standings after 6 weeks. Even with Osimhen, Galatasaray is still lacking. Unless there is a player capable of delivering proper passes to him, Galatasaray's style of play won't change. Very poor decisions were made regarding transfer policies. I am somewhat hopeful about the chemistry between Leao and Osimhen. There are so many teams who will find themselves in this situation if a certain player gets injured because his the most important player in the squad most especially a player who is a goalscorer, just like we talking about Erling Haaland getting injured for Manchester City, that would be a huge problem for them because he is their best player, just like Lamine Yamal for Barcelona, and Mbappe for Real Madrid, right now I think someone else would have to step up when Osimhen isn’t playing, Galatasaray is in a bad form, Victor Osimhen playing against Trabzonspor wouldn’t have changed anything, like stop them getting demolished by Trabzonspor, is a good thing that Osimhen will be coming back after the International Break.

Players quickly play matches in two or three days and, due to fatigue, cannot perform at their best. Teams that don't play in Europe have an advantage in this regard, and while they normally have no chance of beating big teams, this happens more frequently after European competitions.
