I don't think it's fair that Galatasaray has been criticized so much after the Barcelona game. The difference in level between the two teams is just too great. In terms of both the quality of the roster and the team as a whole, Barcelona is currently head and shoulders above nearly every other team in the world. There have been plenty of teams that have had results similar to Galatasaray's.

I don't think the players performed terribly on an individual level, but after conceding the first goal against Barcelona, everyone fell apart. After that, Galatasaray conceded goal after goal. Right now, we can't really expect much else against Barcelona.

the difference is big but in any case you cannot allow a team, even if very strong, to be able to play against you and do what they want, you always need a minimum of defense and control even if it is very difficult against such strong players, but they should have at least tried to stop attackers like Yamal who did what he wanted.

Who has been able to stop Yamal and Barcelona this season? So far, they’ve won almost every game without letting their opponents pull ahead. They haven’t played many top-tier teams yet, but El Clásico is coming up soon, and we’ll see what happens. Setting aside the fact that a Turkish team knocked them out in the group stage of the Champions League, I don’t think any team can beat them.

Rizespor scored the first goal. Then, Cengiz Ünder drawed for Çorumspor with a magnificent free-kick, and later, near the end of the match, they scored the winning goal. To be honest, I hadn’t foreseen this rise by Çorum at the start of the season. Typically, teams that have just joined the league don’t achieve this kind of success. However, it must be said that they assembled a strong squad, and they are now reaping the rewards of that team’s performance.

I believe there are two main factors behind this rise. The first is Burak Yılmaz as the head coach.
In my opinion, Burak is a good coach—and he’s only going to get better. When he has a strong squad at his disposal, he gets his team playing good football.
The second factor is Cengiz Ünder. He has been scoring in recent matches; he has recorded 4 goals and 1 assist in his last 6 games. He is no longer a "big club" player—his trajectory, which began at Altınordu, is now coming full circle back to Anatolian clubs.
He might stay in Çorum if he’s happy there, but I suspect he’ll move to an Istanbul-based club next year, simply because Çorum is a small city.

In every match they have attacked the opponent strongly, if they concede one or two goals, they will give many goals back to the opposing team. The way they have played so far, everyone will say that their team is strong, but since the El Clasico match is ahead, then it will be seen how strong they can be against their opponent. They have played with Barcelona before, but they are also strong enough in the Champions League, and no team in the Turkish league can eliminate them. However, the Champions League is a huge competition, if Barcelona can maintain their strength, then maybe they will fight to win the title this season.

The Turkish league is really gaining  momentum as most players are now going towards that league because it seems they have money, even more than Serie A side. Galatasaray and Besiktas all carry star players in that league and are paying their players the same kind of salary that the big teams can pay, and it's really a good one to have another league that can pay players like the premier league.

Victor Osimhen 's presence at Galatasaray is calling people's attention towards that league, and I'm saying this because it is his presence that made me start watching games in the Turkish league. And not only me, I believe most fans watch their games because of Osimhen and some big names that have gone to that league.

Yes, it's true there isn't a player currently stronger than him, he's so fast, he's so quick, he has so many skills that i believe that they will always win for a long time, Barcelona with Yamal is an incredible team, but compliments must also be paid to the others who are very strong, like Pedri who is another fundamental player.

Galatasaray should not be criticized and blamed for their defeat against Barcelona. Because Barcelona is a very high-quality team that Galatasaray has no chance of in big tournaments. Especially against Barcelona's great form this season, it is almost impossible for Galatasaray to win.

Galatasaray does not yet have a strong enough team to perform well in the Champions League. Winning a few matches with this team is probably the best achievement. They should keep their focus on the Turkish League and prioritize the Turkish League. To do well in the Champions League, they need to improve more and need world-class players, which they do not have at the moment.

Unexpectedly, they have had a great run, they are a promoted team & that promotion has become a historic milestone for the club. Four wins, one draw & three losses from eight games, something great is achieved by a team that is in the process of adapting. The first surprise was when they held Galatasaray to a draw, I think we can expect more from this team for the remainder of the season.

Just as they did in the match against Rizespor, Fenerbahçe became more effective toward the end of the game.
With this match, Lukaku scored his first goal for Fenerbahçe. Kerem and Vedat came off the bench and each added a goal, bringing the final score to 3-0. Mason Greenwood is experiencing a dip in form—I’m not sure why—but he failed to convert a penalty in the 17th minute today, and he has looked quite out of shape since the international break. He hasn't been productive at all.
Mert Hakan made his return to the pitch today after a long absence.
Fenerbahçe will face Slavia Prague in the Champions League mid-week; however, if they play the way they did today, they will likely struggle against Slavia.

Gençlerbirliği 0 - 1 Galatasaray

I bet on a Galatasaray win, thinking it would be an easy game for them, even though it was an away match. Given that their opponent hadn’t won any of their last four games and had only managed two wins in their previous eight it seemed like a very safe bet, and the odds were decent, too around @1.37. I certainly didn’t expect such a stressful experience; Galatasaray didn’t seem to be putting in any effort.

They looked nothing like the team that played against Barcelona a match where they managed to score a goal, even though they ended up conceding four and losing. In this game, however, they weren’t playing well at all, whereas Gençlerbirliği were playing very well though, unfortunately, they kept missing their chances in front of goal. If Gençlerbirliği had had better strikers, there would have been plenty of goals in this match.

I don’t know if I’m the only one who noticed this, but it seemed like the Galatasaray players were playing individually; each of the attackers was only focused on scoring a goal himself, rather than passing to a teammate. I saw this with Barış Alper Yılmaz and at times with Victor Osimhen and Leroy Sané. I’m not sure why they were acting this way. If it hadn’t been for a mistake by the Gençlerbirliği goalkeeper, the match would have ended in a draw.

Fenerbahçe took to the pitch today, looking to put the heavy defeat against Aston Villa behind them. Of course, no result could truly make up for that embarrassing scoreline in the Champions League. We secured a three-goal victory against Alanyaspor a decent side that currently sits in the middle of the league table. It was crucial not to drop points against them suffering a second defeat—following the loss to Gençlerbirliği against a team of this stature would have been difficult to accept. Fortunately, we won 3-0, and now we can begin preparing for our next Champions League match.

Some of these matches are not easy to win, no matter how bad a team can be, they will want to use one match to regain back their form and we have seen it today; Gençlerbirliği tried their best in this match, but they are not lucky to score despite the chances they had in the match, they hold up but at the end, they had an own goal to make the difference; they have indeed tried their best to win the match.

The Galatasaray’s coach need more work to do. When Osimhen was injured, many of us are saying that their attack is not strong without him, but now that he is back, instead of them to play like a team to win match, all of them are trying to prove point that they are also good, which they shouldn’t do that because without this own goal, they will lose this match. They need to play as a team just to win, so that when they win the league, they will all celebrate it.

Galatasaray managed to return home with all three points from their away match against Gençlerbirliği, they secured the three points with a late goal from Deniz Gül.

Both teams created some very good chances but failed to take them. Gençlerbirliği had much clearer opportunities but couldn't turn them into goals.

A very important win for Fenerbahçe. After suffering a heavy 6-0 defeat against Aston Villa, beating Alanyaspor was a great result for the team.

The Champions League was, of course, more significant, and the defeat to Aston Villa there is not an easy result for Fenerbahçe to accept. Against Alanyaspor, we saw a strong performance from Fenerbahçe the team appeared well coordinated. In their next match a Champions League fixture taking place in Turkey at home Fenerbahçe will face Slavia Prague. They must approach the game with respect for their opponent, play to win, and secure all three points. This may well be the only match in the Champions League from which they can realistically emerge victorious.

Fenerbahçe was the better side today. İrfancan scored three goals, but all of them were disallowed. While the decisions to disallow the first and third goals were correct, I don't understand why his second goal was ruled out.
The footage shows Kante committing a foul on an opponent, but I couldn't see any connection between that foul and the play in question.
Is there a specific rule regarding this? I would appreciate it if someone who knows could provide some information. Fenerbahçe secured the 3 points, despite having 3 goals disallowed.

I watched the highlights of the Gençlerbirliği vs. Galatasaray match. It’s being said that İrfancan Eğribayat scored an own goal, but when Deniz Gül took the shot, the ball deflected off an opponent, which caught İrfancan off guard. It then hit his hand and went into the net.
Gençlerbirliği played very well, especially in the first half, but unfortunately, they couldn't find the goal they were looking for because their finishing was quite poor.
In my opinion, Galatasaray is a team that must have a lot of prayers behind it; they’ve been playing poorly in their recent matches, yet they still manage to come away with a win. They won again today, and next week, there’s the Galatasaray vs. Fenerbahçe match. I’m already curious to see how that game will unfold—and how the officiating will be.

I think Galatasaray was very lucky this week. This match deserved to end in a draw. We saw a disappointing result for Gençlerbirliği. Gençlerbirliği created some very important scoring opportunities in the first half. If they had converted just one of them, the match could have taken a very different turn...

At the start of the season, I viewed Galatasaray as the number one favorite for the league title due to the quality and stability of their squad, but in recent weeks, they’ve started to raise serious concerns for me. They may still remain the strongest favorite for the championship this season, but their rivals will play a major role in that. If Fenerbahçe had become a slightly better team this season, things could have been much tougher for Galatasaray...

How the goal came doesn't matter anymore, the fact that Galatasaray left with all three points is what really matters. Galatarasay next opponent in the Champions League is a club I think they have equal strength against, the players should get rest because it will be another trip for them to face LOSC in the away ground.

Galatasaray lost heavily to Barcelona, they can take their revenge against LOSC next week, my prediction is a win for Galatasaray on that UCL night.
