I said Galatasaray was the favorite but even I didn’t expect the match to be this easy. Galatasaray literally dominated the game. The pace slowed down a bit toward the end of the second half, and they sat back to protect the lead, but that was to be expected. Osimhen scores every kind of goal. He’s Galatasaray’s savior. Today’s victory was more than just 3 points, Galatasaray knocked one of its biggest rivals out of the running.
One team has Osimhen up front, while the other has Lukaku. Why did Fenerbahçe even sign Lukaku? What are they going through? It’s really interesting. İsmail Kartal should have played Vedat instead of him in the derby. Sanchez defended well for Galatasaray and made some important interventions. Sanchez also assisted Osimhen for the second goal. There’s not much to say about the first goal; it was a good goal. Osimhen finished the job in the first half. Galatasaray played well. I wasn’t expecting this kind of performance. I thought we would struggle more.

It appeared that Fenerbahçe was content with this scoreline, as Galatasaray could easily have scored even more goals. Fenerbahçe played very poorly and suffered an inevitable defeat. With this win, Galatasaray has pushed their rival further behind in the title race and claimed all three points.

It was a must win for Galatasaray and even more so, they were playing from their home and the game was one that would see them to the top. Lukaku isn’t much of a threat to be frank, he’s aged and isn’t getting much work done at the gym to help his weight, those do affect his performance. VO9 still is in his prime, plays right in his best position and his teammates always finds him on the pitch, his got an eye for goal and he makes good of his chances. Gala deserved a 3 points today.

When Galatasaray finished the first half with a 2-0 lead, I thought we might see a historic margin of victory, but Ederson proved to be a high-quality goalkeeper; he was not at fault for any of the goals conceded. İrfancan’s goal was magnificent. Despite playing poorly, Fenerbahçe managed to create some chances in the final minutes. Had Lemina not cleared that header off the goal line, the match would have ended 2-2. Galatasaray deserved the win, and for Fenerbahçe, the chapter on the championship has closed for this season. Galatasaray exploited the flank where Levent was positioned very effectively, especially in the first half. Fenerbahçe cannot win the championship with such an aging squad. I am curious to see what the scorelines will be in their matches against Liverpool; with a defense like this, Fenerbahçe might even end up breaking our 8-0 record.

Fenerbahçe suffered a 2-1 defeat with a disgraceful performance—it could easily have been a historic margin of defeat. Ederson is showing us this year why he earns 11 million euros. He faced a lot of criticism last year, but this season he has played very well in many matches. Regarding the incident involving Batrakov yesterday—a penalty was awarded last year for a less clear-cut situation. (In the instance involving Yunus Akgün...) No penalty was awarded here; that was the correct decision, but unfortunately, a penalty *was* given for a similar incident last year. I also don’t understand why the moment where Osimhen stepped on his opponent's foot wasn't deemed a red card—but then again, when you're playing poorly, everything tends to go wrong. İsmail Kartal needs to leave immediately.

Spectacular game of Trabzonspor winning away 3-4 and they look quite unstoppable right now with their duo of Salah and Muci creating goals and assists out of nowhere. I watched the game and what a spectacular goal Laci from Rizespor scored yet they could not get at least one point in this home game. Looks like Trabzonspor is emerging as a serious title contender now that Fenerbahce is fading away 6 points behind after losing to leaders Galatasaray. Amedspor being there in the top I don't know what to think of them but I doubt they can keep up until the ending.

Yesterday was a busy day for football fans around the world but massively congratulations to Galatasaray 2-1 against Fenerbahçe I was not able to watch the game yesterday I was focused to the most prestigious award in football the Ballon d'or that at side victor osimhen is looking so sharp this season already with his teammates the communication between the players is amazing you can clearly see that whenever the Galatasaray players get the ball they move forward to create chances to victor osimhen for him to strike the ball at the back of the net.

What strange gameplay!! Just few years ago, we considered Fenerbahce to be only club capable of challenging Galatasaray in Super Lig. Fenerbahce secured second position in last three season, but they couldn't break Galatasaray's domination. Yesterday's match was soo boring. I was expecting competitive match, but throughout the game, I only saw domination of home team. They were unlucky to win by just 1 goal margin, missing 3/4 goal as they hit goalpost. On the other hand, from opponent, I probably saw only 2 perfect attack entire match. Hoping for title with such terrible performance is foolish.

What’s more, if I’m not mistaken, Fenerbahçe didn’t have a single shot on goal in the first half. They were forced to take risks in the second half. I don’t remember Galatasaray winning a derby this comfortably in recent years. The final score makes it seem like it was an evenly balanced match, but in reality, it wasn’t. I agree with you on this point... I’ve written this here many times before. Let me say it once more: the difference in squad quality between these two teams, and indeed between Galatasaray and the other teams, is undeniable. In this context, this match and similar ones aren’t all that surprising. Since it’s early in the season, Galatasaray hasn’t found its rhythm yet, but it’s not hard to predict that they’ll establish stronger dominance in the league as the season progresses. Early in the season, they drew with Çorum, lost to Trabzonspor, and lost two matches in the Champions League, but they’re slowly finding their rhythm...

I was very focused and eager to follow the Golden Ball award ceremony and i must say that the expectations were amply rewarded, Harry Kane won the Golden Ball and i am very happy, really happy for this player who deserved that award more than anyone else, very strong.

After watching the display of Galatasaray yesterday match 2:1 and having won back to back three consecutive time currently toping the table which they will likely grab this time again I have this already in mind that Galatasaray is not ready to release the the power of becoming the champion to any team as it stands now because of the powerful players who are still showing their wonderful skills, like osimeh, Sara, sanchez, elderson this are strong experience in Galatasaray that won't gives room for any mistake of continue victory, trabzonspor, fenerbachce would have taken the bold step but currently it seems Galatasaray keep doubling it energy against all odds.

There will be a lot of competition at the top of the league this season, but I already see one team that has thrown in the towel and that team is Fenerbahçe. Fenerbahçe has an aging roster. They have experienced players, but the team’s physical disadvantage compared to other teams is quite noticeable. Fenerbahçe is now falling apart in the second halves of games. A potential loss of points against Göztepe next week could very well lead to İsmail Kartal’s departure from the team. No matter who joins the team, unless the management’s mindset changes, this season will end in disappointment for Fenerbahçe.

After watching the Galatasaray vs. Fenerbahçe match, I have no doubt that this is yet another lost season. I criticized the signings made by the Fenerbahçe board; it was obvious that they were wasting both time and money. Why would a club aiming to compete for the title spend money to sign Lukaku? It makes no sense. Here is his performance from yesterday: Romelu Lukaku Shots = 2 Goals = 0 Assists = 0 In a match as important as yesterday’s, the guy did absolutely nothing of use. He played 90 minutes without providing a single assist and managed only two shots. He has now played 8 matches for Fenerbahçe and scored just 1 goal. Once again, I have to ask: why on earth did they bring in Lukaku? When I search for: "how much salary does Lukaku receive at Fenerbahçe?", I see this: source: https://www.salaryleaks.com/football/romelu-lukakuI find myself wondering what kind of management one that supposedly aims to compete for the title—would spend money this way, knowing full well that the player in question doesn't run much, is prone to injury, and had been sidelined for a long time. So, what exactly did Fenerbahçe’s board hope to achieve with this signing? What significant contribution is Lukaku actually bringing to Fenerbahçe? He’s played 8 matches so far and has scored only 1 goal. And the most shocking thing is when you search for: "what is Vedat Muriqi's salary at Fenerbahçe?" and you find this: source: https://www.salaryleaks.com/football/vedat-muriqiVedat Muriqi earns less than Lukaku, yet he has recorded 7 goals and 1 assist in 9 matches. This proves that with the money they are spending on Lukaku, they could have acquired a better player one who would be scoring more goals for the team, which in turn would have them contending for the title. They might even have won yesterday’s match against Galatasaray. It seems, however, that the Fenerbahçe board lacks people who think things through; the decisions they’ve been making are simply not normal.

Although it’s clear that this season won’t be like the previous ones, the previous seasons will feel the same for Fenerbahçe. They signed the wrong players, and even though the team has enough technical quality, they lack dynamism. That’s why I agree with you when you say they’ve thrown in the towel. We saw it in yesterday’s match as well Fenerbahçe were far too slow. Trabzonspor and Beşiktaş have built much better squads than Fenerbahçe this season.

Galatasaray are basically keeping the standard of their history, presently, the best and most successful club in the Turkish League, what we see now is a foundation that has already been laid, they've won about three titles in a row, and about to win for the fourth time, without being biased, with the performance so far, Galatasaray deserves to win the league, i won't be surprised if they actually win the league again.

İsmail Kartal has resigned from Fenerbahçe once again. It was only a matter of time. Kartal had resigned 1.5 months ago, but his resignation wasn’t accepted. Since then, Fenerbahçe has continued to get poor results. The loss in the derby put the final nail in the coffin. Aziz Yıldırım had been a strong advocate for İsmail Kartal, he was saying either we go together or we stay together. Now all eyes are on him, we’ll see if the board will also resign and lead the club to an extraordinary election.

The quality of players in Galatasaray is unmatched when compared to Fenerbahce and Galatasaray was on a mission to retake their spot league table that was temporarily occupied by Amed. Playing at home only intensified what was to expect of them and Osimhen gave one of his best performances yesterday. Although, I couldn’t help but marvel at the Fenerbache only goal in the game, it was a phenomenal one but, they just didn’t do enough to convince themselves that they could get anything from that game. One team that earned my respect yesterday was Trabzonspor, M. Salah and his boys were able to come back from a 2 goals loss in the first half, scoring 3 goals before a reply and went further to get a 4th goal to win the match.

Fenerbahçe parted ways with İsmail Kartal by mutual agreement. This is what Fenerbahçe should have done from the very beginning but they were too late. Also I don't think the new manager will be able to succeed with this squad because the squad is what it is and this is the limit of its strength. They can strengthen the squad with good signings during the winter transfer window but until then, this is the squad they have. They should try not to let the points gap widen until then.

İsmail Kartal had tried to resign before, but the club refused to accept it. This time, when he resigned again, they couldn't ask him to stay. Fenerbahçe has been having problems with the manager position for years. Maybe İsmail Kartal should never have left in the first place. They could have built a squad suited to his style and followed a long-term plan for at least four or five years, which might have led to better results. This is exactly the problem with our clubs they don't have long-term plans.

I agree, maybe the biggest problem of our clubs is having no long-term plans. Only the short term solutions. Given Fenerbahçe’s current situation, it was clear that İsmail Kartal’s resignation was about to happen. I reckon they’ll now try to find another short-term solution. I’ve even seen reports about Montella and Tedesco. Tedesco might be a good option, but I still don’t think they’ve put together a sound long-term plan. Apart from Galatasaray’s long-term success in recent years, Beşiktaş have made the best move: they’ve found a good coach and are trying to establish a clear game plan. It would be good for Fenerbahçe to do the same. This season seems as good as lost already. It’s tough, but they should look ahead to the end of the 2027–2028 season and set a target for that, at the very least.
