Well I want to understand from you that how it can be wrong to claim that Bitcoin investment requires a source of income. It is true that only discretionary funds are required for investment and if one has discretionary funds then they can take a guess as to how much of it to invest and start buying bitcoins very quickly or use DCA or other strategies to buy bitcoins. Source of income and discretionary fund may be two different concepts but discretionary fund is created from source of income.
If you know that source income and discretionary funds are different, then why are you fighting about it.
If you have discretionary funds then you can buy bitcoin.
Of course, it will be helpful to have income continuing to come in so that you can be sure to cover your expenses into the future, but at any given time, you don't necessarily know your future in terms of if your income will continue to come in, yet surely some guys have stronger confidence in their future income as compared with other guys.
Discretionary funds can come from a job or they can come from other sources as well. .and so the concept of discretionary funds means that it is money that you can do whatever the fuck you want with, including burning it in a fire.
There is no need to create extra requirements on guys to buy bitcoin, since all they need to buy bitcoin at any given time is discretionary funds.
Of course, each week they might have to determine if they have discretionary funds that week, and if they have unstable income and/or unstable expenses, then they might have more difficulties predicting if they are going to have discretionary funds in the next week or even 6 weeks down the road..,. but they don't need to decide for next week or 6 weeks down the road if they have discretionary funds right now, then they can buy bitcoin.
Of course, you have a right to do whatever you like, and you might tell yourself that you are not going to buy any bitcoin unless you have at least enough money in hand to cover your expenses for 6 weeks down the road.. or maybe you want to feel some confidence that your income is going to come for each of the next 6 weeks, but the fact of the matter is that you might not know with confidence, but you do yoru best with the information that you have and you figure out the conditions that you need in order to feel comfortable buying bitcoin.
So mistakes can be made either direction. One direction of mistakes are guys who buy too much bitcoin based on their overconfidence and then there are mistakes of guys who buy too little bitcoin based on their overly cautiousness. Each of us can choose our balance and if we are too whimpy or we are too aggressive, those might be as a result of choices. We should be striving to find a balance in our level of aggressiveness so that even if we make any mistakes, they are not mistakes that cause us major pains/damage.
For example, 1. Source of income refers to the medium or means by which you are earning money such as money from job, profit from business,Money can also be earned from house or shop rent etc.
Sure. You seem to know the various ways that you can come accross money. You can sell something(s), you can receive gifts or bonuses, you can inherit some money, you can find money on the street, you can borrow money (even though surely there are more complications if you borrow money that relate to terms of paying it back).
On the other hand, the money that a person is earning and what is left after meeting all mandatory expenses from that earned money is discretionary funds, isn't that the correct logic?
Sure. You know the definition. .and all you need to buy bitcoin is discretionary funds you don't need source funds.
So this proves that other funds are generated from the source of income and we can divide it in different ways and use it for Bitcoin investment or can be used for other purposes.
Well yeah, once you figure out your discretionary funds they can be used for anything, and the categories generally fit into investing, savings and discretionary consumption.
There are many people who due to the pressure of responsibilities, cannot accumulate Bitcoin even if they want to. Having a source of income is essential. To do continuous DCA but you need extra available funds to start.
Having discretionary funds is essential to buy bitcoin.
Many times it is better to have a source income (or a stable income), but neither a stable income or a source income is necessary to buy bitcoin, even though discretionary funds are necessary to buy bitcoin (in the context of investing rather than gambling - we are talking about investing here not gambling.. at least, I hope).

Gift money and money from lotteries or other jobs also generate discretionary income and can be used to invest in Bitcoin. But those who don't have source of income may not generate regular discretionary income thus those investors have to depend on others like you are relying on, it may not be possible to buy bitcoin investment regularly but they can hold it for long term.
You seem to be mixing up the future with the present.
At any given time, a person needs to have discretionary funds in order to buy bitcoin, and of course, if a person uses his best judgement (aka common sense), then he can determine how much discretionary funds he feels that he needs in order to feel comfortable buying bitcoin based on the totality of his circumstances.
Like I mentioned in my earlier response, each guy exercises his judgement regarding the extent to which he believes he has enough money or that he does not have enough money to buy bitcoin, and he could error on the side of underdoing it or overdoing it. Each guy is responsible for whether he makes mistakes and how big are his mistakes.. and yeah present circumstances of having discretionary funds at the moment may well be a different question as compared with the extent to which a person has confidence in his future income, so a lot of time, a source of income makes guys feel better that they are going to have income coming in the future to cover expenses and maybe even to be able to continue to invest in bitcoin, yet the ability to invest in bitcoin in the future is not the question in regards to whether a guy has the bare minimum abilities to buy bitcoin, which is that at that particular moment he has discretionary funds, and it is up to him to decide if he has enough or not, but the fact that he has discretionary funds means that he met the basic requirement so he has a choice about whether to invest into bitcoin and how much and/or if he should use his discretionary funds for altternative purposes such as saving and/or discretionarily consuming.
Indeed everyone needs a stable source of income to invest in bitcoins with long-term planning and to hold patiently and grow their portfolio by buying regularly
You continue to create too many requirements. You seem to describe a preferred situation as if it were what is required to buy bitcoin, when it is not.
Sure if a guy has strong discretionary funds on an ongoing basis, he has more options in terms of how to use that money, including but not limited to buying bitcoin.
, with the discretionary funds required for smooth and worry-free bitcoin investments, and it would be better to keep some of their money in a backup fund as well.
Of course, many of us ongoingly suggest to build up back up funds and bitcoin at the same time, even though guys can choose how much preference to give to each of them, and whether to grow/maintain one or the other faster and more securely. Those are choices, and guys can make mistakes if they overdo in one direction or another.
You should understand this calculation formula, Discretionary Fund = Gross Income of each person - Taxes - Essential Expenses, so to my knowledge in this case it is proved that there must be a source of income.
Discretionary funds are what is left over after calculating out the basic expenses, and if you have a flow of income coming in, then you might consider how many discretionary funds that you have until the next time that you get paid. Of course, some kinds of expenses spread out over several months and sometimes they can be deferred in payment even if they might need to be paid, but there might be flexibility in regards to when they have to be paid. For example, a guy could get a loan for $1,800 that has to be paid $450 over 4 months, or maybe he has to pay $110 over 18 months... he can choose to pay extra on his loan or he could choose to pay the minimum due.

If newbies are told to invest only as much as they can afford to lose, then someone might assume that they can suffer losses before investing. This can demotivate a new investor. Bitcoin does not offer guaranteed profits, but considering all the aspects of Bitcoin, there is a lot of potential for Bitcoin to increase in value in the long run. This is not just blind luck, but there is a lot of logic behind it. And Bitcoin is currently performing better than in the past. It was also better in past too. It has performed well in the past, is Bitcoin in a bad position now? I don't think Bitcoin is in a bad position now. Rather, Bitcoin is getting stronger with time.
And Bitcoin will go to an even better position in the future. Where it is not enough to think only about valuation when people's acceptance increases, the value of Bitcoin will naturally continue to increase.
The correct expression is don't invest any more than you can afford to lose, since there are no guarantees of profits in bitcoin and there are not any guarantees that your investment in bitcoin might not go to zero. If you are proclaiming that guys are guaranteed to not lose money, you are lying (or misleading) them. Newbie bitcoiners need to figure out how much money they are putting into bitcoin, and hopefully they are not emotionally attached to the money they put in, and they figure out ways to be as aggressive as they are able to be without overdoing it either financially or psychologically.
