How about Yamal and Kylian huh? because I think that I am already sensing a rivalry there. And this is just the beginning because I think that this rivalry will become more noticeable after Messi and Ronaldo final retirement. Yamal and Kylian has the same M.O as GOAT Messi and Ronaldo. They are both playing inside Laliga like Messi And Ronaldo did in their prime, and Kylian who is the Real Madrid guy is older than Yamal just like Ronaldo was older than Messi in Laliga.

Just like Messi too, yamal is still young and is a growing superstar that is more promising to win trophies like Messi do. Everything is just so similar and alike, or am I just making all this up?

What a comparison! Well, some are related, but many doesn't, and you need to carefully weigh the age difference of the two players; you were actually silent about that. Between C. Ronaldo and Messi, it's just 2 years, meaning they are of the same generation. But between Mbappe and Yamal, it's a whole 8 years. The reality is that when Yamal is still very active and probably winning trophies and awards, Mbappe might have faded off by then; age will surely tell. You can imagine both of them in the next 7-10 years. So, I believe it would be nothing compared to C.Ronaldo and Messi rivalry, even thought it might look like that somewhere in-between.

Kylian Mbappe will be 31 at the next World Cup, so he should still be able to perform at a high level. Alongside Haaland and Yamal, I’d also highlight another rising star: Michael Olise. He impressed at the last World Cup and has continued to shine at Bayern Munich. In my opinion, he could become another player on Messi’s level.

Kylian Mbappe may be having age constraints already just like we see in the last world cup. He performed far better in the previous ones than this year.  But by that year, I think Yamal will be at his peak or better if he continues developing the way he's going.

Mbappe will probably be 31 in the 2030 World Cup and his age will definitely be a topic of discussion. After the 2026 World Cup, though, I can't believe that his performance has dropped. I, on the other hand, believe his show is getting better. It'll be obvious if you take a look at the World Cup numbers. If you count the goals he would have scored just 4 goals in 2018, but 8 goals in the 2022 World Cup. However, he had four assists and 10 goals in the upcoming season in 2026. He even triumphed the Golden Boot in 2026. This means that 2026 was his best World Cup.
