Yamal and Mbappe’s rivalry is nowhere near the level of ronaldo and messi’s rivalry. At age 25 messi had 4 balon dors and ronaldo also had one after which he went on to win 4 more. So far neither Mbappe nor Yamal has won the balon dor shows that they arent even the best players of their generation let alone having a rivalry like ronaldo and messi. They have a rivalry that is normal and not a big rivalry like Ronaldo or messi that went for almost 20 Years

I wouldn't consider the number of Ballon d'Or as a very important value in this case. Mbappé has never won it, that's true, but his numbers remain impressive. He absolutely is one of the best players of his generation. Otherwise, based on your logic, Ousmane Dembelé is a way better player than Mbappé: please find me a single person who would choose Dembelé over Mbappé.

First of all there is a big difference between one balon dor and 4 consecutive ones, which messi achieved before the age of Mbappe. Are you sure about this? Ronaldo has always done the expected, and he did the expected very well. Messi and Mbappe are players who, very frequently, do things you could never see coming. I agree that a few Ronaldo goals belong into that category, like the header or bicycle kick, but Mbappe and Messi have the ability to explode out of nowhere. Ronaldo, in my opinion, rarely came close to that. I don't say he never did, but from a viewer's point of view, I would prefer to watch Messi or Mbappe all the time.
