I'm not the technical officer at RSM he's currently ill.   Although we may be receiving four ~1.2(TH/s) miners within the next week.  Would we be able to put all four miners on the same account/address as they'll all have the same difficulty settings.  Or does it not matter at all and that you can have as miners with as many different difficulty settings running on the same account/address.  Thanks for any advice in advance.

Difficulty settings are on a per-connection basis now with stratum, not per-account. You can have different settings on every device with no problems.

I think the pool needs to do some sort of promo to encourage new miners to the pool or start to advertise or something. We are slowly loosing hashrate and we are finding blocks less and less often.

Woot woot!

That'll help keep all us MMPool fans at bay for a little while Smiley

But we're pretty impatient, so I wouldn't be surprised if the groaning comes back near 50% CDF, haha

Agreed, I like the pool but infrequent payments are killer. Another crazy idea from me here, but could we possibly mine at a another pool that is semi small to merge us together and then over time as we get move users on the pool we split away again?

I am not sure what causes this, but I see a lot of variation in the DGM Estimate for workers who have been mining since the beginning of this round.  They all have similar shares, PPS, and hash rate, but 0.031 to 0.088 for the DGM Estimate.  Can anyone explain why this is?

I'm no expert, but here's a shot:

The DGM will incorporate previous round work as well.  So the two Id's with lower DGM estimates must be new here; I recall someone posting saying they were pointing their 200 GH/s here, so that's likely one of the users.

Keep in mind power outages will make people lose some shares for certain rounds.

The thing I can never keep straight is the number of shares... if I set my worker difficulty to 256 and someone else sets theirs to 16, do I display a lower share count?  I don't think so and I think it evens out, but as I said, I have no idea the details behind this.

All I'm confident is that MMPool pays out very fair and consistent amounts (disregarding the inherent luck involved with DGM, but that's a decision I'm cool with) and is an overall awesome pool.

I put together a scatter of the top 90 accounts using DGM payout vs number of shares...

A few outliars, but most are similar along the 0.06 line (which is DGM estimated payout per number of shares multiplied by a million or so to get the number readable in two digits:

Much thanks for the explanation!

I did not realize that the previous rounds work was used in the calculation.  Log term will be just fine.  Up till now I did not have a dedicated rig pointing at this pool, but I now have one dedicated to this pool.  Will add more as time and $ permits, but leasing a few and dedicating a few rigs seems to be a good mix of btc luck for me.

yep, if you shut off your rigs, I believe you'll continue to get some payouts even for blocks that you submit no shares... not sure how long before the DGM payouts become zero again.. I'll leave that for those who are smarter than I to explain.

yes that is correct. I recently changed my withdrawal address(meaning made a new account) but my old account has been getting payments tho I am not mining.
