Well gents, it's been real.  I mined here for many years, but alas, my mining bitcoin days are behind me.

With the ten month old, and data center prices where they are at, I've shutdown my business operations.

I have one Titan miner that has been doing nothing in my basement for over 60 days... I suppose I'll find time to troubleshoot it and yell at KnC to give me money back eventually.

However, today, I unsubscribe from this forum.  I'm all withdrawn except for some dust which will be donated to the cause.

Cheers!  Perhaps our paths will cross again someday.

raskul sorry to see you  go.

We had a lot of fun with this pool last fall.   I have also stepped down in miners. Sold most of the sp20e's off.  Even though it is cold in NJ USA it will soon warm up and running 6kwatts of miners in house is not going to happen.

I always had the notion that I should never sell any of my miners, and to date, i've kept pretty much everything that i've powered off, from the old 130nm garden blades to my BFL money-burners... unfortunately, my sports lens has now packed up so i gotta get a new one for work asap so i'm afraid i'm having to go back on my keeping-all-my-miners-forever principles and sell up Sad

it's a sad day

The main web site of the pool is down for maintenance but can still be accessed through backup1.mmpool.org for statistics and mining. The tor interface remains open as well.

To those that recently posted about leaving bitcoin mining, I want to thank you for using mmpool and wish you all the best for your future endeavours!

The pool has 10th miner 18 has 9 th of it.  I am not miner much here like I used to do. I suffered a large rental setback here and ty kano's pool
So I don't rent much.
If you run the pool for a few hours with miner number 18th getting 90% of the pool does  it not give him a big edge in the pps money?

or does the pps grow in a way that I do not understand.
I know the pool has run more then 500 hours wtih much higher th then 10.
So does 10 hours lkike this really help the one big tor miner?

I assume you mean DGM, since nothing affects PPS other than the difficulty - it's a set payment per share - so the PPS portion is unaffected. The DGM portion is affected in the short time but due to the way DGM works miners will catch up on their DGM part in future mining.

The main website is back up now. As a reminder, the options for fallback are:

  • mmpool.org
  • backup1.mmpool.org
  • tor: phkttm64gbquasaq.onion

mmpool.org - BTC Pool - DGM - pays tx fees/vardiff/merge mining/tor

The backup1.mmpool.org interface was down for a short period but the other mining points were operational.
