I just saw a reddit post about this, and the op explained that all  casino  should demand a player identity due to their licence, and reading this idk if i misunderstood something or the op was telling nonsense

If that be the case, I don't think the OP is wrong, because any casino with a government operational licence is mandated to conduct a KYC on all their customers and users of their platform. So he wasn't saying nonsense though but it would have been better you posted the link to the op so we too can read and understand the content and context of the message the OP is trying to pass across.
Aside having a government license of operating a casino the owner might be inflencial that makes him overlook some of the rules and maybe they have agreement with the licencing company that permit them to allow client to register without KYC which is mandatory for clients security purposes not for the casino owner but personal interest. I have only experienced no KYC on new casino sites with the believe that it was a tactics to get more clients to on their platform whether they are government owned or private.

Agreement is what you do when coming out for a business or trying to network with others persons.

KYC is hardly a problem for many. A lot of gamblers keep at it today, gambling even with the requirement of KYC. It’s more about a government problem with the casino than a registry problem. You can get licenses from a number of places but, compliance with local laws ensure you aren’t using your casino for wrong reasons.

A casino owners influence can not cover all the casino forever if the owner has a government backing he can register his casino faster so that his business will have the good covering to operate openly but if the covering is based on his influence and the right thing is not done a day will come when the government will come after the company and everyone participating in the casino will be affected. Whether the casino wants to get clients if you come across them just complete all the registration process to avoid being affected when they will demand the Kyc.
